Chapter 293: Several major confrontations made them behave.

Hui stood there blankly, the burning pain on her face making her feel somewhat dazed for a moment.

Those sudden, powerful blows seemed to explode in the air, making her ears ring.

She stared wide-eyed at Ma Hehua in disbelief.

His eyes were filled with shock and anger, and his originally aged face quickly turned red, with several clear palm prints etched on it like branding marks.

Hui opened his mouth, but only managed to utter the word "you," his voice trembling—an instinctive reaction to being humiliated and hurt.

Ma Hehua crossed her arms, her eyes revealing impatience and ferocity. "Me? What about me? If you know what's good for you, don't cause trouble." Her voice was cold and resolute, devoid of any warmth.

Ma Hehua was extremely annoyed. She couldn't understand why Grey Fairy couldn't just stay put.

This month was their last bit of peace, and she didn't want any trouble or accidents.

Ma Hehua frowned in annoyance, her gaze fixed on Hui Xian as if warning her not to make any more rash moves.

Gray Fairy's heart was like a tangled mess, with various pressures and yin energy intertwined.

She only wanted revenge, so that her descendants could find peace of mind.

Gray Fairy's tears welled up in her eyes, but she held them back.

She didn't understand what she had done wrong. Wasn't revenge the only right thing to do?

Her heart was filled with resentment, yet she didn't know how to resist.

The air around us seemed to freeze, and the tense atmosphere made it hard to breathe.

The domineering nature of Mahehua and the helplessness of Huixian form a stark contrast.

Mr. Liu struggled to his feet, his movements slow and laborious, as if every movement had exhausted all his strength.

He moved aside, leaning against the wall, panting heavily, his chest heaving, his face full of exhaustion.

His clothes were somewhat disheveled, his hair was slightly messy, and his once bright eyes had become dull and lifeless.

With the help of others, Master Song stood unsteadily, his face as pale as paper, devoid of any color.

His forehead was covered with fine beads of sweat, which glistened faintly in the sunlight.

His body was trembling slightly, as if he might collapse again at any moment.

His eyes were filled with fear and unease; the scene he had just witnessed still haunted him.

A group of people stood there, their eyes fixed on Grey Fairy and Ma Hehua.

Their faces were full of doubt and curiosity, wondering who this Ma Hehua was and how she could be so powerful, beating Hui Xian into submission with just a few slaps.

Grey Fairy stood there, head bowed, her expression complex and unfathomable.

Her heart was filled with humiliation and anger, but there also seemed to be a trace of resentment.

Ma Hehua's face was full of impatience, her eyes revealing a resolute and coldness. "My mother said that karma is the most sinister thing. You've been disturbing our rest lately. You ate so many maids from the Song family, and you still didn't have a good end. You might as well wait a month and die with the people of the Song family. Now, eat what you want and drink what you want." Her voice was cold and ruthless, as if she were pronouncing the fate of Hui Xian.

Upon hearing Ma Hehua's words, a chill ran through everyone.

They didn't know what kind of monster this Grey Fairy was, that it could eat people.

Ma Hehua's words also made them feel a sense of despair, as if they were tightly bound by fate and unable to escape.

Ma Hehua looked at Hui Xian without a trace of pity in her eyes.

She knew that this gray fairy was a menace, and if left unchecked, it would bring disaster to many more people.

She had only one thought in her mind: to resolve this problem as soon as possible.

She didn't want the gray fairy to keep causing trouble; her daughter wasn't sleeping well.

Hui Xian raised her head, looking at Ma Hehua with eyes full of anger and resentment. "Why are you doing this to me? I'm just seeking revenge." Her voice trembled slightly, a prelude to the explosion of suppressed emotions.

Ma Hehua sneered, "For revenge? You think you can hurt others just to get revenge? You've eaten so many people, don't you feel any remorse?" Her eyes were filled with disgust, as if she were looking at a heinous criminal.

Grey Fairy fell silent, her heart filled with conflict.

She knew her behavior was wrong, but she couldn't control her anger.

She craved revenge and power, which she could only obtain by cannibalism.

She was struggling internally, unsure of what to choose.

Looking at Hui Xian, Ma Hehua felt no sympathy whatsoever.

This gray fairy is in a desperate situation. She must make a choice: either give up eating people and wait for her fate, or continue to do evil and ultimately meet her destruction.

"Stop joking around. It's only a month. What's the rush?" Ma Hehua said, then turned and left.

Her back view was firm and resolute, without the slightest hesitation.

Everyone watched Ma Hehua's retreating figure with a sense of worry, while Hui Xian stood there, lost in deep thought.

Hui Xian knew she could never become an immortal again, but she knew that what Ma Hehua said must be true.

As Ma Hehua left, the atmosphere at the scene became tense.

No one knew whether the Grey Fairy would do anything crazy again, nor did they know what their own fate would be.

They could only pray silently, hoping that everything would get better.

Mr. Liu and Mr. Song also left the scene with the help of others.
