Mother Ye has been very vigilant lately. She is wary of Ah Si. Not only has she moved all her money to a different place, but she has also hired some new thugs.
"Hmph! You little brat, trying to play tricks on me? Just wait and see how I deal with you." Mother Ye felt a little uncomfortable.
Thinking that Ah Si looked clever, she wanted to train him to take care of her in her old age, but she never expected that not only would she raise an ungrateful wretch, but he would also treat her like a monkey.
When she saw Ma Hehua arrive, she was startled and quickly invited her into the house.
Ma Hehua's eyes lit up when she saw the large amount of fish and meat on the table. "Aunt Ye, this isn't a festival or New Year, so what are you preparing for with all this fish and meat?"
She swallowed hard, but didn't touch her chopsticks.
Mother Ye smiled and said, "Aunt Ma! This is for you. Eat up! Don't worry, you can have more if you want."
"Is this compensation for me?" Thinking that I had worked an extra few tens of minutes to get to work, I figured that Mrs. Ye must be upset about it, so I decided to treat her to a meal as a reward!
"Hi! I...I have some questions for you," she said hesitantly.
While eating, Ma Hehua said, "What's up? Don't bother me with troublesome things, I don't have time."
"It's nothing troublesome. I just want to ask if that Ah Si is reliable."
As she finished speaking, Ma Hehua paused in her eating, her expression hesitant, and thought for a moment.
"I saw him leave early this morning, and he went to a restaurant. Did he order food for you?"
"No, I haven't been in the mood for breakfast lately. I only ordered a table full of good food today because I'm treating you."
Mother Ye was unaware of Ah Si's recent situation, but as she ate, Ma Hehua felt that the taste of the dish was not quite right; it was somewhat bitter.
"Is this dish spoiled?" Ma Hehua asked, putting down her chopsticks.
Mrs. Ye immediately denied it, "No, I ordered it early this morning, it couldn't possibly be spoiled."
After thinking for a moment, Ye's mother prepared to pick up a dish with her chopsticks and taste it, but Ma Hehua knocked the chopsticks away.
"Don't eat it, it's poisonous."
"Ah? It's...it's poisonous?" Mrs. Ye exclaimed in surprise.
She asked tremblingly, "Are you...are you alright?" She was extremely nervous.
"It's nothing." As she said this, blood started flowing from her nose.
"Ah! Blood...blood...you're bleeding."
"It's just a little blood, what's the big deal?" As soon as he finished speaking, blood started flowing from his eyes.
"My eyes... my eyes are bleeding."
"It's nothing. I told you not to make a fuss, it's so noisy."
Mother Ye: "……………………"
Damn it! You're still okay, but you're bleeding from all seven orifices!
Ma Hehua calmly wiped the blood with her sleeve, saying, "The fish tasted bland."
Mother Ye was terrified. Would Aunt Ma really be alright?
As Ah Si heard the exclamations, a look of determination appeared on his face.
After waiting for a while and seeing no movement, he led his men through the door.
Then they saw Ye's mother wiping Ma Hehua's nosebleed with a handkerchief.
Looking at him, his mother concealed the ruthlessness in her eyes and said softly, "Little Si! What's wrong? Is something the matter?"
Ah Si was stunned. How come neither of them had died?
He used three whole packets of arsenic! That could easily poison several elephants.
"No...it's nothing, I just came to pay my respects to my godmother!" His mind was racing.
He then secretly glanced at the food on the table, noticing that there wasn't much left. His eyes darkened; how were these two women still alive?
"You didn't come in just to see if we're dead, did you?" Ma Hehua blurted out.
Ah Si: "…………………………"
Could he say yes? Of course not. This brothel still belongs to this old woman, so he dares not make any rash moves.
"Hehe! No, I don't know what you're talking about!" Ah Si denied it to the death. Anyway, he had no evidence, so what was he afraid of?
"Look at your bright smile, who else could it be but you? Trying to poison Mother Ye? Tsk tsk tsk! I appreciate your good intentions, but remember to add more salt to this fish next time."
Mother Ye: "……………………"
Ah Si: "……………………"
"Pfft!" Black blood spit out mouthful after mouthful.
"Aunt Ma...Aunt Ma, are you alright!" Mother Ye was extremely panicked. What would she do if anything happened to Aunt Ma?
Thinking of Aunt Ma's mother, she felt that she was a tough nut to crack.
"It's nothing, pfft... a little blood... pfft... that's all." What do you know? This old lady is detoxing. Their bodies are not ordinary people; poison can't kill them.
"Alright, I've eaten, and I should get back to work now. Aunt Ye, we can talk when I have time." Completely ignoring his bleeding nose, he took Aunt Ye's handkerchief and stuffed it into his nose.
"Godmother, if there's nothing else, I'll be going now." Ah Si didn't try to get closer to her anymore.
When no one was around, she took off the silver hairpin from her head and stuck it into the fish meat. In an instant, the hairpin turned completely black.
Her face darkened as she stared at the closed door, a sinister glint in her eyes.
"If you're going to do the first day of the month, then I'll do the fifteenth." Her eyes were full of frost, and she didn't even bother to find out what kind of person she used to be.
That ungrateful person is actually afraid of pooping on her head; they're practically asking for death.
This time, Ah Si crossed Mother Ye's bottom line. She will deal with this scoundrel herself.
When Ma Hehua came upstairs, her appearance nearly scared the four of them half to death.
"Aunt Ma...Aunt Ma, are you...are you alright?" Chun Tian asked worriedly.
"What could possibly be wrong? He's just a little stressed and hasn't seen much of the world."
