Chapter 299 Fleeing Overnight

He regretted building the school; now everything was beyond repair.

He closed his eyes in despair, awaiting death.

Grandma Song walked up to Song An and looked down at him.

"You think you can escape my grasp? Let me tell you, no one can stop me from pursuing the path of the Ghost Immortal now."

She stretched out a furry paw and grabbed Song An's shoulder.

Song An felt a powerful force coming from him, rendering him unable to move.

"Please, please let me go!" Song An pleaded desperately.

But Old Mrs. Song remained unmoved; her eyes held only coldness and greed.

"Hand over the Ghost Pearl, and I might consider sparing your life."

Song An shook his head helplessly: "I really don't know where the Ghost Pearl is."

Grandma Song's patience seemed to have run out. She let out a roar and forcefully threw Song An away.

Song An fell heavily to the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Grandma Song looked at the man warily and asked, "Who are you? Why are you meddling in my business?"

The man smiled slightly: "You can't kill Master Song. We still have a use for him." With that, the man swung his cleaver, and a powerful aura of killing intent shot towards Old Madam Song.

Grandma Song quickly dodged, but her arm was still scratched by the evil energy.

She glared angrily at the man, let out a roar, and then lunged at him.

"Holy crap! What the hell are you?!"

The closer they got, the clearer the figure became, and the man's expression changed.

Song An lay on the ground, watching the battle unfold before him, his heart filled with the will to survive.

He hoped the man could hold on a little longer, but he also knew that his mother was clearly not alone! Could this man handle it?
