"Soon."
In the middle of the night, that damn bastard is keeping them from sleeping.
Huai Sheng: "…………………………"
After finishing dealing with the ghosts in his hands, he looked up and saw that the old tree demon Huai Sheng had vanished without a trace.
"Where's that old slut?"
"who?"
Ma Lihua didn't know who her mother was talking about.
"Who else could it be but that old tree spirit?"
"They ran away!"
It's not that he ran away; his true form is right in front of us, but right now it just looks like an ordinary tree.
“Everyone in Shijia Village is a bad person. They raised such a scourge. This time, they even tried to target you. You wait, I’ll teach them a lesson.”
As she spoke, Ma Hehua took a knife and peeled the bark off the old locust tree cleanly, leaving it looking slippery.
Huai Sheng: "…………………………"
"Sir, why don't you put your clothes back on?"
Oh my god! That's terrifying!
"Close your eyes," Huai Sheng gritted his teeth inside the cave.
Doesn't he want to wear it?
The two swaggered away, and Ma Hehua even spat a few times at the barkless tree, Huai Sheng.
"Sizzle sizzle..."
Black smoke immediately billowed out.
Huai Sheng: "…………………………"
That woman is toxic!
I'm upset, and I can't beat those two women, but isn't there another one?
Xiuer stood on the road at the entrance of the village, her heart filled with endless despair.
That road, which should have been full of hope, now seemed to have become an insurmountable cage, from which she could not escape no matter how hard she ran.
Her eyes were filled with confusion and fear as she stared at the winding road ahead, which seemed to have no end in sight.
As the two members of the Ma family walked past her, Xiu'er felt as if she had seen a lifeline.
She cried out desperately, "Auntie, sister, take me away, take me away!" Her voice was hoarse and shrill, as if it were a cry from the depths of her soul.
However, even after she shouted herself hoarse, she still received no response from the two men.
Xiuer was filled with disappointment and pain; she couldn't understand why fate was so cruel to her.
Ma Hehua witnessed Xiuer pushing her daughter and was filled with rage. She had no interest in whether this vicious woman lived or died.
Ma Lihua didn't even glance at Xiu. In her view, Xiu's fate was sealed and she couldn't escape it.
As Xiu watched their departing figures, the despair in her heart grew stronger.
She felt abandoned by the whole world, standing there alone and helpless.
"Help! Help!" Xiu cried out in despair, her voice echoing in the empty village entrance.
Her heart was filled with fear, as if an invisible hand was tightly gripping her throat.
Once the two members of the Ma family were completely out of sight, Xiu became as frightened as a startled bird.
Her body trembled slightly, and her eyes were filled with terror.
A gentle breeze blew by, and the air at the village entrance seemed to carry a hint of coolness.
A few beads of sweat dripped from Xiuer's forehead as the gentle breeze caressed her.
Those glistening beads of sweat seemed to be the crystallization of Xiuer's fear and despair.
Just then, a magnetic voice rang out: "Xiuer."
The voice was like a spell, causing Xiuer's body to suddenly freeze.
She felt as if an invisible hand was gripping her heart tightly, and her breathing became rapid.
Fear surged through her like a tidal wave, and her body trembled even more violently.
Xiuer slowly raised her head, and when she saw the person in front of her clearly, the fear in her heart reached its peak.
Who else could it be but Huai Sheng?
At this moment, Huai Sheng looked like a dried corpse, his face contorted and terrifying.
His face was bloodless, and his skin clung tightly to his bones, making him look like a walking skeleton.
His eyes gleamed with greed, his gaze like that of a hungry wolf eyeing its prey, fixed intently on Xiuer.
"You...you stay away, monster, you freak...ah...get away."
Xiuer screamed hysterically, her voice filled with fear and disgust.
She desperately backed away, trying to escape this terrifying man.
However, her legs felt as heavy as lead, and she couldn't take a step.
As soon as Xiuer finished speaking, Huaisheng's face instantly turned gloomy.
His eyes were filled with malice, like a sharp blade piercing Xiu'er's heart. He approached Xiu'er step by step, each step feeling like stepping on her heart, intensifying her fear.
As Xiu'er watched Huai Sheng approach, her heart filled with despair.
She didn't know why this man had become like this, nor did she know what he wanted to do to her, yet he kept following her.
All she knew was that she was now in unprecedented danger and fear.
Huai Sheng walked up to Xiu'er and looked down at her.
His breathing was rapid and heavy, and he let out a low growl.
Xiuer looked at him in terror, her body trembling uncontrollably. She wanted to run away, but found herself bound by fear and unable to move.
"Xiuer, do you think you can escape?" Huai Sheng's voice was hoarse and sinister, as if it came from the depths of hell.
“You are mine, and all the lives of everyone in your village will always belong to me.” He stretched out his withered hand, trying to grab Xiu’er.
Xiuer struggled desperately, but to no avail.
Just when Xiuer thought she was about to be caught by Huaisheng, a sudden gust of wind blew by.
