Chapter 320 Finding the Dropped Red Rope

"alright."

He finished peeing before even lowering his head?

Lieutenant Chen glanced at Chen Zhiqing's crotch with a complicated expression, thinking, "Young Master's impotence in that area!"

Chen Zhiqing: "……………………"

"I'm watching, I'll gouge your eyes out."

Lieutenant Chen: "……………………"

Lieutenant Chen stood in front of the two large buckets of urine, his face full of disbelief, as if he had seen a ghost.

His gaze was fixed on the two full buckets, the liquid inside still steaming, and the faint smell of foulness and fishiness wafting into his nose, making him frown involuntarily.

"This...this is the young master's urine?" he asked his soldiers uncertainly.

All the soldiers nodded in unison, their expressions a mixture of surprise and embarrassment.

After all, who would have thought that the usually aloof young master could produce two huge buckets of urine?

"This...this is amazing!" Lieutenant Chen couldn't help but exclaim.

He simply couldn't imagine how the young master had done it; it was beyond his comprehension.

Various guesses kept popping into my mind, but I felt that none of them were very likely.

Chen Zhiqing stood to the side, her face slightly flushed, her heart filled with embarrassment and shyness.

He had been worried that Pear Blossom might have witnessed this embarrassing scene.

His gaze kept drifting towards the direction of the pear blossoms, his heart filled with unease.

Ma Lihua stood not far away, speechless.

She didn't actually see the two large buckets of urine, but from the conversation between Lieutenant Chen and the others, she could imagine what the scene must have been like.

After they left, the people of Shijia Village cautiously came out.

Their faces showed curiosity and doubt as they looked at the two large barrels that hadn't been taken away, whispering among themselves.

"What is this? Why does it smell so strong?" a villager asked, covering his nose.

"I heard it's that young master's urine," another villager whispered in reply.

"Oh my, how come this young master can pee so much?" the villagers murmured, their faces showing surprise.

They stood around the two large barrels, pointing and gesturing as if they were looking at a rare treasure.

However, the pungent smell was so unbearable that they quickly dispersed.

The village chief of Shijia Village walked over, his face serious.

"Go check on Gen'er's house. The gunshots at night were probably caused by this group."

The village chief waved his hand, signaling the villagers to leave.

He decided to send someone to find out what was going on and what kind of background this young master and his group had.

Although the villagers were curious, they dared not disobey the village chief's orders and dispersed.

Chen Zhiqing and his adjutant had already gone far away.

Chen Zhiqing was still filled with embarrassment and unease. He didn't know how Lihua would view him.

He secretly resolved that he must pay more attention to his image in the future and never let such a thing happen again.

Lieutenant Chen was thinking to himself that these two buckets of urine had soaked the guns, and next time he encountered something supernatural or a monster, he would just fire a few shots.

He didn't want to carry around these two smelly buckets, so he just threw them away.

They continued on their way, each lost in their own thoughts.

"Village chief, someone in Gen'er's family has died. We haven't seen Gen'er's parents or Xiu'er." The young man rushed over, his voice filled with panic.

His voice echoed through the tranquil Shijia Village like a boulder thrown into the water, instantly creating a huge ripple effect.

As soon as the young man finished speaking, the people around him immediately became agitated.

Shock and anger flashed across everyone's faces, their emotions instantly ignited.

"Bah! Those beasts with human faces and hearts of monsters, they must have killed Xiu'er and her family." A villager said through gritted teeth, his eyes burning with rage.

“Yes! That’s right, everyone, don’t let anyone into the village next time.” Another villager chimed in, his tone resolute.

The villagers talked all at once, and anger spread through the air.

Everyone chimed in, condemning the possible murderer.

Some people waved their fists as if to avenge Xiu'er's family, while others looked sad and heartbroken over this sudden tragedy.

The entire village was plunged into chaos and anger.

"Quiet!"

The village chief roared.

His voice, like a booming bell, echoed in the air, instantly silencing everyone around him.

The village chief's face was very serious, his brows were furrowed, and his eyes revealed deep worry.

He knew this was no small matter and needed to be handled calmly.

After everyone around quieted down, the village chief began to think about the matter carefully.

He went to Gen'er's house in person to check on the situation. When he saw the bodies of Xiu'er's parents and Gen'er, his heart tightened.

This way of dying is just too bizarre.

Xiuer's parents lay on the ground, their faces contorted, their bodies reduced to skeletons, as if the flesh had been gnawed away by something.

Gen'er, on the other hand, was like a dried-up corpse, his body shriveled, lifeless, and devoid of any color.

Moreover, none of these men had gunshot wounds, which was quite strange. It seemed that it wasn't caused by those soldiers.

The village chief squatted down and carefully examined the body.

He found no obvious external injuries or signs of a struggle on the body.

This made him even more puzzled: what could possibly kill them so silently?

The village chief stood up, looked around, and felt a deep unease.

He knew that this matter had to be investigated as soon as possible, otherwise it would bring great danger to the village.
