Do you know why your mother has lived so long?
"Why else? It's because you're amazing, Mom!"
Ma Linghua looked at this wretched man with a sinister gaze, and Ma Lihua immediately added.
"Mind your own business and you'll make a fortune, right, Grandma?"
"That's right, Grandma's little darling is so clever." She felt delighted.
Ma Hehua pursed her lips. The three of them arrived in front of the dilapidated temple, where the chirping of insects could be heard intermittently.
The three left the village and looked at the desolate mountains and wilderness. Apart from this dilapidated temple, they didn't recognize a single road.
"Which way do we go?" Ma Hehua looked at the three roads. It was getting dark, but the roads were brightly lit by the moonlight.
"How about we take the middle one?" Ma Lihua suggested.
"Okay, let's take the middle road."
The three of them left furtively.
Chen Zhiqing was worried about Lihua, so he secretly followed her. Nanzhao was full of secret forests, wild animals roamed everywhere, and it was most unsafe at night.
However, the three members of the Ma family are clearly not ordinary people.
After killing several animals, the three of them reached the end, only to find that it was a cemetery.
The cemetery was very gloomy and terrifying, with a solemn and oppressive atmosphere.
Ancient patterns are carved on the surrounding stone pillars, with wild beasts standing out the most. These beasts seem ready to leap down from the pillars at any moment and devour people.
Ma Linghua looked at the blank stele with a mixture of doubt and curiosity in her eyes. Just as she was about to reach out and touch the cold surface of the stele, she carefully examined her surroundings.
Suddenly, a gust of cold wind blew by, and Ma Linghua couldn't help but shiver.
Before she could react, a dark figure attacked them.
The dark figure moved with incredible speed, like the darkest ink in the night.
Ma Linghua felt a chill rush towards her, her pupils dilated suddenly, and her throat felt as if it were being gripped by an invisible hand.
"The Nuwa Clan".
Her voice was cautious, and surprised.
As the shadowy figure drew closer, Ma Linghua seemed to sense the decaying aura emanating from it, an aura that seemed to carry endless resentment and unwillingness.
"What the hell is this?" Ma Hehua was also taken aback when she looked at it by the moonlight.
Before the two could react, Ma Lihua narrowed her eyes and let out a sharp shout.
"The Yin-Yang Diagram of Heaven and Earth Without Limits".
As she spoke, her voice seemed to tear open a mysterious opening in the gloomy graveyard.
In an instant, the pitch-black night flashed with light, a light like the dawn breaking through the darkness, yet also exuding an ancient and mysterious power.
A painting depicting rivers, mountains, birds, beasts, the sun, moon, and stars appeared out of thin air and quickly enveloped the three of them tightly.
The river in the painting rushes and flows, making a gurgling sound, as if singing an ancient ballad. The mountains are majestic and precipitous, and countless secrets seem to be hidden among the layers of peaks. The birds and beasts are lifelike, as if they will break through the picture at any moment. The sun, moon and stars shine with brilliant light, and the intertwined light gives people a sense of sacredness and inviolability.
"bump!"
Suddenly, ripples appeared on the surface of the painting, as if they were tangible, spreading outwards in concentric circles.
Accompanying the ripples was a loud bang, a sound like thunder exploding in their ears, making Ma Linghua and Ma Hehua feel dizzy.
Ma Linghua felt a buzzing in her head, and her vision blurred. She subconsciously reached out to touch her forehead, trying to clear her mind.
Ma Hehua stumbled and almost fell to the ground.
The painting that enveloped them seemed to glow even brighter after the loud bang, as if it were resisting some unknown threat.
"You little brat, how dare you act so wildly and presumptuously in front of me."
Ma Lihua's expressionless face was dark, and her eyes seemed to burn with flames as she coldly stared at the monster in front of her.
The oppressive atmosphere of the cemetery seemed to tremble slightly with her anger, and the stone pillars around her, engraved with ancient patterns, seemed to sense her majesty, with the beast patterns on the pillars seeming to utter silent roars.
Now, with the help of the golden light, they could see the monster's appearance clearly.
The snake demon with a human body and a snake tail was ten meters tall, standing before them like a colossal creature.
She was naked, her chest covered by a head of jet-black, glossy hair that resembled a black waterfall, yet exuded an eerie aura.
Her thick tail was smoking, a backlash from the attack on the painting that had injured her.
Smoke swirled around the snake demon, like an ominous gloom.
"Ah... hiss hiss hiss..."
She emitted a sharp, piercing sound, like a sharp blade scraping against glass, causing a sharp pain in the eardrums.
It spat out a scarlet tongue, which rapidly extended and retracted, as if probing for danger in the surroundings.
Her tail was bluish-green, a color like that of a deadly poison, emanating a chilling aura.
The arms were covered with irregular scales, which shimmered with a cold luster under the golden light, like an indestructible armor.
The green pupils stared at Ma Lihua with a venomous look, as if they contained a thousand years of hatred.
Her eyes were like bottomless pools, filled with malice and curses.
Under that venomous gaze, the surrounding air seemed to turn icy cold.
Ma Lihua met the snake demon's gaze without fear. Her posture was upright, and her eyes revealed nothing but contempt.
Chen Zhiqing, who was hiding in the shadows, changed his expression slightly. Did Lihua really look down on those spirits and monsters?
