"Quick, you should rest. Lotus, go and spar with her a few times." Before Ma Hehua could reply, he kicked her away.
Ma Hehua: "……………………"
"Mother, look at me, how many points do I have with this monster?" Her voice was unusually loud.
"Divide my ass! Just transform into a Shura body!" Ma Linghua shouted.
Looking at the ten-meter-long half-human, half-snake creature, Ma Hehua swallowed hard. Even if this creature were to transform into the White Snake, it probably wouldn't be easy to win!
But since things had come to this point, there was no point in running away, so Ma Hehua had no choice but to bite the bullet and go for it.
"Asura Purgatory, open."
She roared, a sound that seemed to pierce the sky, and in an instant, the surrounding environment shook violently.
The ground began to tremble violently, and cracks spread rapidly like a spider web. Within the cracks, a dark red light flickered, as if flames from the depths of hell were stirring.
Soon, she changed completely. Her eyes turned bloodshot, like two burning flames, burning with endless fighting spirit and killing intent.
The eyes that were once filled with fear are now filled with a kind of madness, making them awe-inspiring.
The large sword on her back seemed to sense its master's fighting spirit, emitting a series of hums before being drawn and tightly gripped in her hand.
She flew up, her clothes fluttering wildly in the air like battle flags.
His expression changed from fear to arrogance in an instant.
A slight upturn at the corners of his mouth revealed a wild and untamed smile, a smile devoid of any fear, only a thirst for battle.
Her teeth were clenched tightly, her cheeks were slightly puffed out, and every muscle was like a taut bowstring, ready to unleash amazing power at any moment.
The veins on her forehead bulged out like writhing snakes, adding a touch of ferocity to her face.
"Come on, you monster, today is your death day! Kill, kill, kill..."
Her voice became hoarse and low, like a pronouncement from the deepest hell.
He swung the broadsword in the air a few times, creating a series of afterimages. Each afterimage contained immense power, cutting the surrounding air to pieces.
The wind howled past her, as if intimidated by her arrogance, yet forced to submit to her power, swirling around her.
She hovered in the air, looking down at the ten-meter-tall half-human, half-snake creature with a defiant gaze.
With a single slash, sparks burst forth from Nuwa's body, the dazzling sparks particularly blinding in the dim space.
Her scales were like the strongest armor, and their indestructible appearance made Ma Hehua's heart sink.
Ma Hehua gritted her teeth, her eyes fixed on the area on Nuwa's body where blue smoke was being drawn—the only part she had discovered that might be a weakness.
She gripped the broadsword tightly with both hands, raised it high once more, and then used all her strength to slash it down one stroke at a time.
However, the snake woman was completely unharmed.
Each strike on her scales produced only a dull thud, followed by sparks, but left not a single mark on her body.
Sweat beaded on Ma Hehua's forehead, sliding down her cheeks and dripping onto the turbulent ground beneath her feet.
"Mother, we can't win! Let's run!"
Ma Hehua was still conscious at this moment. While wielding her broadsword to fend off any possible counterattack from Nuwa, she looked back over her shoulder.
However, the place behind her, where her mother had once been, was now empty; there was no trace of her mother.
Ma Hehua stared wide-eyed, her face filled with disbelief.
Then came a moment of silence: "……………………"
"Lotus, if you can't beat them, run! This thing is not in the same league as those others; it's very likely a monster from the Jiuli tribe's era." Ma Linghua's whispered words reached his ears.
Ma Hehua felt a mix of emotions. Why did they still ask her to go?
Waaaaah, Mom doesn't love her anymore!
Ma Linghua and Ma Lihua peered at the blank tombstone behind the grave, their eyes pressed tightly against the gap between the stone and the ground, carefully observing every movement outside.
They breathed very softly, afraid of making the slightest sound and revealing their location.
Soon, Ma Hehua's ghostly figure rushed over, her steps as light as a feline, making almost no sound.
"Mother, where are you?"
She called out in a low voice, her voice still carrying a hint of panting from the recent battle.
"Come here quickly, behind the wordless monument. Keep your voice down, you haven't been caught yet, have you?"
Ma Linghua peeked out slightly, glanced at her, her eyes filled with worry and urgency.
"Don't worry, Mother, with my running speed..."
As Ma Hehua spoke, she ran towards the direction of the wordless stele, a confident expression on her face.
She felt she was fast enough to easily shake off the terrifying snake woman.
However, before she could finish speaking, her gaze inadvertently passed over her mother and daughter and looked behind them, where she saw a scene that sent chills down her spine.
Suddenly, the snake woman appeared behind them, smiling eerily.
The snake woman wore a strange smile, her lips turned up high, but there was not a trace of goodwill in it.
Her eyes gleamed with a cold light, like two cold stars in the dark night, exuding a strong sense of malice and mockery.
Her tongue occasionally darted out of her mouth, its forked tip like two small swords, swaying gently in the air, as if savoring the fear of the prey about to be caught.
Her half-human, half-snake body writhed and twisted on the ground, her scales shimmering with a cold, eerie light in the dim light.
