Chapter 342 Carnivorous Metamorphosis

She took a step forward, wanting to examine it more closely, but worried that she might trigger some kind of trap or mechanism.

Moreover, the lotus flowers look very abnormal now.

Ma Lihua curiously observed the woman, finding her to possess an indescribable charm, like a flower blooming in the darkness—dangerous yet alluring.

She whispered to Ma Linghua, "Grandma, who is this woman? What's she doing here?"

Ma Linghua did not answer, but her brows furrowed even more.

Her gaze swept across the secret chamber, noticing that the surrounding walls were also covered with strange symbols. These symbols shimmered with a faint light and were somewhat similar to the runes in other parts of the dungeon, yet with subtle differences.

At this moment, Ma Hehua had already walked to the bedside, and she slowly reached out her hand to the woman, wanting to touch her face.

Just as her hand was about to touch the woman's face, the woman's eyelashes suddenly trembled slightly.

Ma Hehua recoiled as if she had been electrocuted.

The woman on the bed still didn't open her eyes; her lips moved slightly, as if she were uttering some silent incantation.

The atmosphere in the sealed room became even more eerie, and the strange fragrance seemed to intensify, making it difficult to breathe.

Ma Linghua realized that the situation was not good. She wanted to pull Ma Lihua and Ma Hehua away from there, but Ma Hehua seemed to be frozen in place and refused to move an inch.

"Hungry! Hungry! Hungry! So hungry!"

As she spoke, saliva began to drip from her mouth. The saliva was incredibly sticky, like snail mucus, and looked utterly disgusting.

Ma Lihua sensed danger; her mother was acting strangely, and so was this woman.

Ma Linghua took a deep breath and tried to cast a spell again, even if there was only a sliver of hope.

She closed her eyes and concentrated, but the evil magnetic field still suppressed her magic completely.

Just as Ma Linghua was at a loss, a ring on the woman's finger on the bed suddenly began to flash.

The light started out faint, then grew brighter and brighter, gradually illuminating the entire secret chamber.

Under the light, the woman's face became clearer; her skin was as delicate as mutton fat jade, but her tightly closed eyes seemed to hide endless secrets.

As the ring's light intensified, the temperature inside the secret chamber gradually increased.

Ma Linghua felt as if she were in a furnace, with sweat constantly dripping from her forehead.

Ma Lihua's face was also flushed from the heat, and she cried out uncomfortably, "Grandma, it's so hot."

Ma Hehua, however, was completely unaware of all this. Her eyes remained fixed on the woman on the bed, her gaze filled with infatuation.

The woman's body began to rise slowly, floating in the air. Her black clothes fluttered in the wind, and the embroidered insects seemed to come alive, wriggling on her clothes.

Ma Linghua knew they had to leave as soon as possible, or their lives might be in danger.

She gritted her teeth and decided to forcibly drag Ma Hehua away.

She rushed forward and grabbed Ma Hehua's arm with all her might, but Ma Hehua seemed rooted to the spot and didn't budge.

The woman in the air continued to rise slowly, and black mist began to appear around her body, within which countless eyes seemed to be flashing.

Those eyes were cold and evil, sending chills down your spine.

Ma Linghua was filled with unease.

"Eat! Eat! Eat! It's delicious..."

Ma Hehua made a muffled and urgent sound in her throat, a sound like the roar of a wild beast from the depths of darkness.

She abruptly shook off Ma Linghua's hand, which was gripping her tightly, with such force that Ma Linghua stumbled and almost fell.

Ma Hehua's body moved like a ghost, instantly transforming into a black shadow as she pounced on the woman on the bed.

"Snap! Snap! Snap..."

The chilling sound echoed in the secret room, each note like a death knell tolling by the Grim Reaper.

Suddenly, Ma Hehua pounced on the woman's body, her hands gripping the woman's clothes like iron clamps, and with a "ripping" sound, the clothes were brutally torn open.

Her eyes gleamed with madness as she bit down on the woman's hand without hesitation. Her teeth dug deep into the flesh, accompanied by a nauseating chewing sound. Green blood splattered onto her face, but she seemed to be tasting the most delicious thing in the world, her face filled with ecstasy.

Then she turned to the woman's back and began to bite into it, her body trembling with excitement with each bite.

At this moment, Ma Lihua noticed the change in her mother.

Ma Hehua's teeth, which were originally quite normal, became incredibly sharp, like those of a hellhound, each one radiating a sinister, cold light.

Her saliva kept dripping from the corners of her mouth. The saliva actually contained corrosive venom. When it dripped onto the ground, it instantly produced a puff of blue smoke and corroded small pits.

After she started eating that woman, her entire being underwent a terrifying transformation.

Her skin turned noticeably whiter, not a normal white, but an eerie, deathly pale, like a zombie crawling out of a grave.

Her features became more beautiful, but this also added a touch of sinister charm, like a beautiful poppy, alluring yet deadly.

And on her forehead, a small horn slowly grew, gleaming with a cold, black light, as if it were a sign from hell.

Her face was filled with greed, madness, and obsession; her eyes had completely lost their rationality, leaving only an endless craving for food.
