Chapter 365 Where did your skin go?

What is "Sister Drum"?

Ma Hehua asked while cracking sunflower seeds.

The female ghost was taken aback, looked up at her, and said, "You didn't know that?"

"Should I know?" Ma Hehua was taken aback.

“Mother-in-law, can you tell me about it?” Ma Lihua also became interested.

Ma Linghua was talking about other things with some other elderly ghost women.

Seeing how enthusiastic and supportive the two were, she raised her head and said haughtily, "Alright then! I'll give you two new ghosts some advice."

"Is she going to say it again?"

"you do not say!"

"In the end, it all boils down to the fact that the leather she bought was used to make the Sister Drum."

The ghosts around her, fearing she would bring up her exploits again, all left, leaving only the two members of the Ma family looking at her expectantly.

In a dimly lit corner of the canal, the female ghost stood silently, exuding an eerie aura.

Her bloodied and mangled face looked particularly terrifying in the dim light.

She slightly raised her head, revealing empty eyes. Her voice, as if coming from the underworld, echoed softly: "Sister Drum, it is a magical artifact filled with sin. On the darkest days and nights, they select pure and beautiful women, cruelly murder them, and peel off their skin to make the drum. The drumhead bears endless pain and sorrow."

Ma Hehua interrupted impatiently, "Stop rambling, just tell me how this sister drum is made."

The female ghost was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "Once the Sister Drum is made, it will be driven by evil forces. Its drumming can bewitch people and drive them mad. To break it, you need to find an object of pure yang energy to suppress its evil nature. However, this is not an easy task, because the Sister Drum is very powerful, and if you are not careful, it will backfire on you."

At this moment, the water in the canal was still flowing slowly, and the figure of the female ghost swayed in the wind. Ma Lihua and Ma Hehua exchanged a glance.

Where did your skin go?

The female ghost was stunned for a moment, then suddenly...

Where did your skin go?

Ma Hehua asked in a cheeky tone.

Unexpectedly, as soon as the question was asked, the female ghost's expression suddenly changed.

Her eyes were bleeding, filled with resentment, and her hands, which looked like chicken claws, suddenly grew nails.

"What's wrong? Can't I tell you?"

The atmosphere along the canal instantly plummeted to freezing point.

The female ghost's already terrifying appearance became even more ferocious at this moment.

Blood flowed from her eyes, the crimson blood trickling down like threads, leaving shocking marks on her pale face.

His eyes were filled with resentment, as if a black flame was burning, ready to incinerate everything in the world.

Her claw-like hands instantly sprouted long nails that gleamed coldly in the dim light.

Those fingernails seemed capable of easily slicing through steel, sending chills down one's spine.

The female ghost's body trembled slightly, and with each tremor, she exuded an even stronger eerie aura.

"Where did my skin go? Where did my skin go? Where did it go..."

The ghost's voice was shrill and terrifying, echoing over the canal.

The voice seemed to come from the depths of hell, carrying endless pain and sorrow.

Each sound was like a heavy hammer blow, striking Ma Lihua and Ma Hehua's hearts. And let me tell you, it was quite frightening.

The canal water continued to flow quietly, but it seemed to be affected by the eerie atmosphere, causing slight ripples to spread across its surface.

A gentle breeze blows, carrying fallen leaves that dance in the air like desperate butterflies.

The ghostly figure swayed in the wind, and her laughter sent chills down one's spine.

"Hey! I mean... wait... why are you transforming?" Ma Hehua felt that all she had asked was a question! Was it really necessary to transform?

Seeing the unconscious female ghost, she felt it necessary to bring her back to her senses. Just as she raised her hand to slap her, Ma Lihua grabbed her hand.

"Pear Blossom, what's wrong?"

"Mother, look!"

As she spoke, she pointed to a figure under a bridge over the canal.

Ma Hehua looked up and saw that it was the woman from the Cherry Blossom Country.

"What is she doing there? She's acting suspiciously; it can't be anything good."

As soon as she finished speaking, she reached out and crushed the female ghost who had attacked her. She casually flicked the black blood off her hand, looking disgusted.

"Let's go take a look."

Ma Lihua thought for a moment and nodded.

The tranquility along the canal, broken by the ghost, has now been replaced by a different kind of tense atmosphere.

The two members of the Ma family hid behind a rock, watching the woman named Mei Yezi with a mixture of nervousness and curiosity.

Mei Yezi was dressed in the simple clothes of a peasant woman from the Flower Kingdom. The only striking thing about her ordinary outfit was the cherry blossom hairpin in her hair.

The cherry blossoms on the hairpin are so lifelike that they seem to shimmer slightly in the sunlight, adding a touch of mystery to the beautiful coconut's face.

She stood there, her eyes revealing a complex emotion—a sense of determination, triumph, and a hint of barely perceptible malice.

Suddenly, she spoke a sentence in Japanese.

"As long as this curse is cast, the Flower Kingdom will definitely suffer a severe blow."

The two members of the Ma family exchanged glances. Although they couldn't understand what she was saying, they could sense something unusual from her tone and expression.

They didn't know what this woman was planning, but a strong sense of curiosity was rising in their hearts.

After burying the thing, Mei Yezi confidently turned and left.

Her steps were firm, as if everything was under her control.

The two members of the Ma family watched her departing figure, their hearts filled with doubt.
