Old Deng was burning with anger, but when he thought about the guns on the other side, he dared not make any rash moves.
He said in a gloomy tone, "Get out of my inn right now, you're not welcome here."
The voice seemed to emanate from the dark underworld, filled with resentment.
"That won't do! It's so late at night, there are wolves outside. If we go out, we'll definitely get eaten by them."
Gu Youliang was no fool; he knew that this was the only inn within a ten-mile radius.
Moreover, the wolves on this plain are no joke; their numbers are frightening.
He gripped the gun tightly in his hand, watching Old Deng warily.
Old Deng remained silent for a while, quickly calculating in his mind.
These three are his chance. If he really gets kicked out, what will happen to the three women upstairs?
Relying on Master Kongsang? He sneered inwardly. He believed pigs could fly, but he didn't believe that old bald monk would actually make a move.
Old Deng's eyes kept flashing, and his facial expressions kept changing.
He didn't want the three to ruin his plans, but he was also worried that forcibly driving them away would trigger a more intense conflict.
At this moment, the atmosphere in the inn was like a taut bowstring, ready to snap at any moment.
Old Deng gritted his teeth, trying hard to control his emotions. Damn it, guns are good. When I have money, I'll get one too.
“I’m not a heartless person. If you really want to continue living here, you’ll have to pay more.”
Old Deng's words broke the tense atmosphere.
Gu Weiliang breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. "Okay, we'll pay more, but please be more civilized and polite."
"Hmph! Eat and go to bed early!" Old Deng glanced at the meat with a deep look, still harboring many grievances.
As the group left the restaurant, the three members of the Ma family were coming downstairs.
Old Deng cooked again right on time. He had no choice; if he didn't improve the taste, he'd be subjected to Ma Hehua's harsh treatment.
When Master Kongsang came downstairs, he saw Old Deng busily serving dishes to the three of them.
"Hey! Venerable monk! From Tibet?"
Ma Hehua stared at Kong Sang next door and asked.
Kong Sang nodded slightly, "Mm!"
Ma Hehua continued, "I see your forehead is dark; you're bound to have a bloody disaster!" Her words came out so easily that it was hard to tell whether she meant it or not.
Kong Sang felt a chill run down her spine, but her face remained expressionless.
Hearing this, Lao Deng felt a surge of tension. Could it be that Ma Hehua had discovered something?
The other two members of the Ma family had different expressions, as if they were thinking about something.
At this moment, the atmosphere in the inn became subtle again, as if an unseen storm was brewing.
“You flatter me, benefactor. Monks are compassionate and do not kill. Amitabha.”
Kongsang dressed quite solemnly, with his hands clasped together and his head slightly bowed, looking like a high monk.
"Hey! I was just saying, don't take it too seriously."
Ma Hehua pursed her lips and ignored Kong Sang.
Kong Sang ate a few bites of food and was about to leave when his stomach suddenly started to hurt.
Looks like I need to go to the toilet, but the toilet is in disrepair and the old ox is still repairing it, and there are wolves lurking outside.
Left with no other choice, Kongsang decided to go outside to deal with the situation.
After watching him leave, Old Deng became tense, suddenly remembering a displacement mechanism.
Thinking of this, the corners of his mouth turned up slightly, revealing a sly smile.
Xiao Hong glanced outside furtively and shook her head, while Lao Deng quickly went back to the kitchen to check the equipment.
After the three members of the Ma family finished eating, they went upstairs to prepare for bed, wondering how much of the ice water in the river had melted the next day.
Kong Sang stood outside for a long time, then walked upstairs with unsteady steps.
Just then, Old Deng seized the opportunity and pulled the lever.
In an instant, a slight tremor came, and Ma Hehua and the others' room quietly switched with Kong Sang's room.
Everything in the room seemed to have found a new place in an instant, and everything happened so quietly.
Old Deng hid in the shadows, looking at his masterpiece with satisfaction, secretly pleased with himself.
The three members of the Ma family were unaware of this change and went back to their rooms to sleep.
When Kong Sang returned to his room, it was pitch black all around. He secretly complained to himself that Old Deng was really stingy, not even lighting a kerosene lamp in the room.
In the darkness, he could only grope his way forward.
As he approached the bed, his fingers suddenly touched something cold, and he quickly withdrew his hand in fright.
Little did she know, Ma Hehua suddenly opened her eyes in her sleep.
Those red eyes were filled with greed, gleaming with an eerie light in the darkness.
"I think I just touched something."
Kong Sang thought uncertainly, preparing to touch it again.
Just then, a dark figure suddenly pounced on him. Before he could make a sound, a pair of large hands covered his mouth tightly.
“Old bald monk, I told you you were going to have a bloody disaster, but you didn’t believe me… Perfect timing, I’m hungry.”
Ma Hehua's voice rang out in the darkness, like the whisper of a demon from hell.
She lightly licked her lips with her tongue, and her eyes gleamed red in the darkness.
She took a deep sniff of the scent of the mulberry tree and felt a surge of excitement in her mind.
The old bald monk exuded an evil aura that fascinated her.
She liked the taste; it was the taste of the prey she craved.
"Click...click...click..."
In the quiet night, the sound of chewing could be heard.
Ma Lihua and her grandmother were sleeping soundly on the right side of the bed, completely unaware of the terrifying scene unfolding before them.
