"You ugly bastard, prepare to die!"
Ma Hehua chopped and cursed him at the same time, using the most offensive and offensive words without repeating herself.
"Shut up, you shrew."
The River God roared in anger.
Ma Hehua's eyes were wide open, and the anger in them was almost bursting out. She looked like an enraged lioness.
The knife in her hand sliced through the air, creating a whistling sound, and every inch of the blade seemed to be clamoring to teach the River God a harsh lesson.
"The third technique of the Ma family: castration with a knife."
Ma Hehua spat out those words viciously, and her figure lunged at the River God like lightning.
Her steps were firm and swift, each step leaving deep footprints on the ground, as if she wanted to transmit all her anger to the River God through her feet.
Ma Lihua: "???"
"Grandma, do we have that kind of cultivation technique in our family?"
"No, but I do know how to slash the moon with a sword."
Like a ferocious beast, Ma Hehua slashed her knife with deadly force towards the lower part of He Bo's body.
The River God was so frightened by her imposing manner that his face turned ashen. He kept cursing, but he was also somewhat flustered by Ma Hehua's crazy actions.
As Ma Hehua's knife whistled as it slashed down at his lower body, Hebo felt a chill run from his feet to the top of his head.
"Holy crap! You despicable woman, you're so mean, so shameless, so filthy."
The River God's voice changed, and he frantically unleashed his "Turtle Shield".
In an instant, a green light flashed, and the giant turtle emerged from the river, quickly retracting its entire body into its shell.
Ma Hehua's knife struck the turtle's green shell without reservation, and with a loud "clang," the sound reverberated through the air like a great bell.
Ma Hehua's arm went numb from the recoil, but her eyes remained fierce, showing no sign of backing down. The veins on her hand, gripping the hilt of her knife, bulged from the force, as if she were about to swing the knife at the River God again in the next second.
Ma Hehua looked at the giant turtle with disdain, a mocking smile on her lips. "So it's just an old turtle that's become a spirit! I thought it was something else! I heard turtles' things are really short, so what difference does it make whether you shrink back into your shell or not?"
Her voice was sharp and piercing, spreading wildly through the air, each word like a sharp blade stabbing at the River God.
The River God was trembling with rage inside the turtle shell. He never expected to encounter such a shameless woman.
"You shrew, you're completely unreasonable!"
He roared angrily inside his shell, but dared not peek out.
Ma Hehua wasn't about to let him off the hook, and continued to berate him: "Someone like you, still taking advantage of girls every year, what are you after? Wouldn't it be better to let them go and preserve their dignity?"
Her eyes were full of disdain, and the knife in her hand was still trembling slightly, as if she would strike again if the River God made the slightest move.
The River God, inside the shell, spewed out a string of curses, but he knew full well that he was in a difficult situation.
Besides Ma Hehua, who was a troublesome person, there were two other people standing on the shore. Although they hadn't made a move yet, their eyes were clearly full of hostility towards him.
The River God was inwardly groaning; in this situation, whether he fought or fled, he would gain no advantage.
He could only huddle tightly inside the turtle shell, secretly praying that these plague-ridden people would leave quickly.
But Ma Hehua's arrogant cursing continued, and He Bo felt as if his head was about to explode from the sound.
Ma Linghua's cool voice broke the deadlock, "Lotus, forget about him, go see if that kid has arrived yet, let's get on the boat."
Ma Hehua spat fiercely at the turtle shell, "Pah! You old turtle, you're lucky to be alive."
But as soon as she turned her head, she immediately put on a smiling face, "Oh! Mother, I'll go right away."
The speed at which the expression changed left even the River God speechless.
"Young man, are you there? This lady is waiting for you in this grove!"
Ma Hehua shouted at the top of her lungs. A chorus of lewd replies immediately rang out from the riverbank, "Hey! Big sister, I'm here."
"Big sister, I'm here, I'll be right there."
"Big sister, I'm here too."
Ma Hehua smiled smugly, "Alright, I'll get on whoever comes first."
A moment later, a man with a lewd voice quietly rowed closer in his boat, "Hey lady, are you there?"
“Come in, it’s in the grove!” Ma Hehua called out.
"Hehe! Big sister, your little brother is here."
The man eagerly rushed into the grove. Immediately afterwards, a series of "thump... crack crack crack... spit! thump..." sounds came from the grove, and the branches shook violently.
A moment later, Ma Hehua emerged from the grove, looking refreshed. "Mother, daughter, come on, let's get on the boat."
The River God stared wide-eyed inside the turtle shell, inwardly sighing, "This is utterly insane! This woman actually dared to mess with a man like this!"
Ma Hehua said proudly, "Nothing is better than having it yourself. Look, we have a boat now. Mother, I think what you said before made a lot of sense."
Ma Linghua nodded approvingly, "Yes! Lotus! You've grown up, that's great, I'm very pleased."
Ma Lihua, standing to the side, had bright, sparkling eyes, as if she had learned something new. In her heart, she seemed to understand that if all else failed, she would just have to rob them. In the eyes of the River God, this family had become lawless.
The three of them stood quietly in the middle of the river, the atmosphere around them both tranquil and subtly tense.
Ma Lihua gazed up at the bright moon in the sky, its gentle light bathing her face and adding a touch of serene purity to her appearance.
Her eyes held a hint of dazedness, as if she were immersed in a dream woven by the moonlight.
Ma Hehua stared intently at the riverbed, the large knife in her hand gleaming coldly in the moonlight.
She was like a cheetah poised to pounce; the moment that old turtle, the River God, showed his face, she would strike without hesitation.
The River God held his breath helplessly underwater, secretly cursing in his heart.
Ma Linghua gazed intently at the stars in the sky, carefully taking out the parchment she had brought from the Gobi Desert from her bosom.
The paper was somewhat old, yet it exuded a mysterious aura.
"Mother, how long will it take?" Ma Lihua asked softly.
“It’s midnight!” Ma Linghua’s voice was calm and steady.
At this moment, the river water was icy cold, and the chill seemed to penetrate the bone marrow through the boat planks.
A gentle breeze rippled across the river, and Ma Lihua's long hair swayed in the wind as if dancing with it.
The young man who had promised to take Ma Hehua and the others fishing had disappeared; he hadn't come at all.
Gradually, stars began to appear in the sky, nine of which shone brightest, like dazzling gems embedded in the night sky. They seemed to be foreshadowing something, adding a mysterious and unpredictable atmosphere to the night.
"It's here, the alignment of the nine stars is about to begin."
