Upon entering Black Mountain once more, Ma Linghua was enveloped like a dark cloud, her entire body radiating an aura of yin energy.
With each step she took, the surrounding air seemed to freeze, and wherever she passed, a wave of oppressive power swept through, sending chills down people's spines.
Along the way, the demons and monsters of the Black Mountain were nowhere to be seen, replaced by some unfamiliar new faces.
Whispers could be heard: "Someone has entered Black Mountain."
"Hurry, or there won't be any food left."
"Come on, we can still have some soup."
The newly arrived vengeful ghosts and monsters driven by desire to eat people all made their appearance.
Their eyes were filled with greed as they looked at the three members of the Ma family, as if they were seeing delicious prey.
However, the older generation of Black Mountain monsters wisely chose to hide.
"Farewell, you idiots!"
At this moment, Ma Linghua slowly spoke: "I haven't made a move in several years, I wonder if my old bones have rusted."
As she spoke, she moved her body, making crisp, clear sounds as she swayed her head from side to side.
The sound stood out starkly in the silent Black Mountain, like a battle horn.
Ma Linghua stood tall, her eyes revealing indifference and ruthlessness.
She tightened her grip on the dagger, opened the cloth bag at her waist, and exuded a powerful aura as she confronted the menacing ghosts.
In the Black Mountain, the tense atmosphere was about to erupt, as if a thrilling battle was about to begin.
"Entering Black Mountain without the permission of the Ma family deserves death."
Ma Linghua's words were like ice, instantly lowering the surrounding temperature to freezing point.
Her eyes revealed a resolute and majestic air, like that of an inviolable queen.
"Rebirth from the ashes, begin!"
With Ma Linghua's angry shout, the entire Black Mountain was instantly enveloped by a mysterious power.
A raging inferno rose into the sky, like blooming black lotus flowers, enveloping the entire Black Mountain.
The eerie fire emitted a strange light, beautiful and dazzling, yet sending chills down one's spine.
This was the first time Ma Hehua had seen her mother's barrier, and her eyes were filled with amazement.
The barrier formed by the yin fire was like a huge protective shield, tightly protecting them within it. The yin fire pulsed, as if it were alive, radiating powerful energy.
The air was filled with a scorching heat, as if the sun were baking it, which made the ghosts and monsters extremely uncomfortable. They felt as if they were in a giant furnace, and their skin was stinging from the heat.
The vengeful spirits let out painful howls, their distorted faces appearing even more ferocious in the glow of the eerie fire.
The monsters also showed expressions of fear and fled in all directions, only to find that they could not escape the encirclement of the yin fire no matter what they did.
Amidst the eerie flames, the three members of the Ma family stood tall and imposing.
Their figures appeared exceptionally tall in the firelight, like invincible war gods.
Ma Linghua's eyes were firm and cold; she wanted to tell those who dared to invade Heishan that the Ma family's authority was not to be challenged.
"Oh no, oh no, Third Master, Fairy Ma and the others are back."
A ghost staggered into a cave, its voice filled with terror.
The ghost's figure appeared elusive in the dim cave, as if it might vanish at any moment.
"Stop yelling, I understand."
A low, cold voice rang out.
The cave was filled with a suffocating atmosphere, making it hard to breathe.
Six years later, Huang Sanlang has changed a lot.
A single white hair had sprouted from his forehead, standing out conspicuously and gleaming eerily in the darkness.
Its leopard-like body swayed from side to side a few times, and then transformed into a man who looked like a human, appearing to be in his thirties, with a tuft of white hair hidden among his black hair, the white hair seeming to be a trace of madness deep in his heart.
His face was sharply defined, and his eyes revealed a coldness and... lewdness.
"So what if you're here? I'm not the same as before. I'm incredibly strong now."
Huang Sanlang's words were full of confidence, as if the entire Black Mountain was now under his control.
However, the little devil beside him secretly thought to himself, "You really dare to say that. Right now, you're just gritting your teeth and resisting this fairy's yin fire."
Looking at Third Master's feigned composure, the little devil felt helpless and rolled his eyes. If it weren't for his status as a guardian spirit, those mountain elders would have torn him to pieces long ago.
Outside the cave, eerie fires raged, enveloping the entire Black Mountain in a terrifying atmosphere.
Huang Sanlang felt the scorching heat and couldn't help but feel a little uneasy.
He knew that the Ma family's strength was not to be underestimated, but now that he was ready to go all in, he didn't want to or was willing to easily back down.
He clenched his fists and secretly mobilized the power within his body, but unexpectedly, his demonic power was suppressed completely.
He paced back and forth in the cave, pondering a solution.
His eyes sometimes flashed with a fierce light, and sometimes revealed a hint of hesitation.
"Sanlang, what's wrong? I feel so hot and in so much pain!"
A white weasel crawled out of the hole.
When Huang Sanlang saw her appearance, he felt extremely distressed.
"Cuihua, go back quickly! You can't get hurt, you're pregnant!"
Huang Sanlang was terrified.
"Sanlang, it's so hot inside! I can't sleep! I want to go out and get some fresh air. Oh, and ask a few kids to find me some chickens to eat."
At this point, she seemed to remember something, "Go catch the chickens in that yard, don't we keep several in that house?"
