Chapter 499 The Black Dragon Descends



His scarlet eyes burned like infernal flames, overflowing with mockery and disdain as if looking down on the ants of the world.

However, amidst this commotion, the faces of some wise men instantly turned solemn, even deathly pale.

They knew that such a strange phenomenon was no good omen. The black dragon exuded a chilling aura and came on menacingly, clearly harboring ill intentions.

Just as everyone was still reeling from the shock, the black dragon's form suddenly changed.

In an instant, a person dressed in a black robe stood proudly. The embroidery of birds and beasts on the robe was exquisite and shimmered with a cold luster in the sunlight, showing endless luxury and majesty.

His jet-black hair, casually draped over his shoulders, added a touch of sinister charm to his appearance.

That face, which should have been handsome, was now distorted by that sinister look.

A slight upturn at the corners of his mouth held a mocking smile, a smile tinged with undisguised sarcasm, as if in his eyes everyone else was an ant, and all the struggles and exclamations were nothing but a farce.
