The smell was so strong it could make you feel like you were going to die on the spot. At least the window in the last seat could be opened, which made them feel a little better.
Wu Mingnian felt utterly hopeless, staring blankly at the roof of the car. However, only half a day had passed, and the people inside the car were starting to get hungry.
Wu Mingnian stared at the empty bag, utterly bewildered. Eat? Eat my ass!
Ma Hehua and the others weren't hungry; their stomachs were full!
Wu Minglian; "…………………………"
You're all full, but I'm still hungry!
Despite being hungry, we finally arrived at a station where we could get off to eat and use the restroom. There were rows and rows of passenger buses, including sleeper buses, which looked quite nice.
As Ma Hehua and her two companions prepared to go to the restroom, she frowned when she reached the energetic young man in his thirties.
"Wah wah wah..." A baby with a completely black body, a mouth full of teeth, and fierce eyes blocked the three people's way, but Ma Hehua didn't even blink.
"Go!" The ghost baby was kicked ten meters away, even flying out of the car.
"Snotty nose, disgusting to look at." Ma Hehua looked disgusted. Apart from her daughter being cute when she was little, everyone else in the world made her feel irritable.
Several fellow Daoists who hadn't gotten out of the car frowned as they looked at her ferocious appearance.
"This woman is truly a shrew!"
"Wait, is that what you're focusing on? Didn't you see she kicked away a fifth-tier evil spirit?"
Everyone fell silent for a moment. Didn't you see it? Nonsense! How could you ignore that gloomy, sinister aura?
They're just pretending to be blind even though they can't win!
Didn't those Taoist priests see the ghost bride? No, they couldn't, they couldn't defeat her, so I'm blind.
Didn't those Taoist priests see the ghost baby? Don't be ridiculous, they're not even in the same league, so they're still blind.
"Fellow Daoist, what are you saying? We're not blind." Guo Taotao rolled her eyes.
The three members of the Ma family had already gotten out of the car and gone outside to take a look at the place.
"Mother, I need to use the restroom," Ma Lihua's delicate voice rang out.
"Mom, I'm taking my daughter to the toilet. You have to wait for me here! I'm so scared," Ma Hehua said solemnly.
Ma Linghua: "………………………………"
Looking at her daughter's broad shoulders and thick waist, she didn't know what she was afraid of, but as a great mother, she still wanted to reassure her daughter.
"Okay, go ahead! But make sure you keep a close eye on my little darling, and come back as soon as you're done," Ma Linghua instructed her.
"That's a must. Even if I go hungry, I won't let Lihua go hungry," Ma Hehua said earnestly.
Ma Lihua: "…………………………"
She saw through it but didn't say anything. Her mother would only think of her after she finished eating. Even the chicken leg her grandmother bought for her, her mother would eat half of it. It wasn't that she was bad to her, it was just that her mother was greedy!
At least they left her a few bites, and besides, she didn't eat much...
The two went to the restroom and saw the long queue, meaning it would be a long time before it was their turn.
Ma Hehua glanced at it, pursed her lips, then looked at the bushes nearby and her eyes lit up.
"Girl, go nestle over there."
Looking at the place her mother pointed to, Ma Lihua felt it was a good spot; they used to huddle like this when they went to remote mountains and wilderness.
She didn't mind at all, so the two of them carefully bypassed those people and came to a rather desolate patch of grass, a place that usually no one dared to come to.
But the two of them were clearly not ordinary people.
It was dark in the bushes; it was past nine o'clock at night, and it was really dark. However, Ma Hehua could still see the way by using the flashlight on the back of her phone.
She didn't care; she could see clearly even in the dark. But her daughter couldn't. When they arrived at their destination, she turned off the flashlight on her phone.
"Girl, that's enough, go for it!" Ma Hehua stood there keeping watch for her, her eyes scanning everywhere like a scanning light, afraid that a big man might suddenly appear from the bushes.
"Squeak squeak squeak..."
The rats around were squeaking, and there were some mysterious noises. Ma Lihua took off her pants and urinated.
Just then, a wild beast lay prone on the ground, its green light flashing. In this tranquil moment, the light of a car headlight flickered in the darkness.
It was a wolf, its silhouette appearing and disappearing in the moonlight, exuding an aura of mystery. It crouched low, moving cautiously forward, each step so light and deliberate, as if approaching a precious target.
The wolf's eyes gleamed green, revealing a wildness and hunger.
Its body lay close to the ground, as if it had become one with the earth. Its muscle lines were even clearer under the moonlight, showing its great strength and agility.
Its pace was slow and rhythmic, as if it were calculating the distance and timing of each step.
Its ears were perked up, listening alertly to the sounds around it; no slightest sound could escape its keen hearing.
Ma Lihua stood there quietly, pulling up her pants. As if sensing the approach of a wolf, she stood tall and straight, her eyes slightly narrowed, and her hand, which was tightly gripping her pants, tightened.
She was about to gouge out the wolf's eyes; her breathing was steady and deep, revealing her inner calm.
The wolf drew closer, its scent gradually filling the air, carrying a wild aroma.
Ma Lihua's heart raced. Closer, even closer, she stood firmly in place, turned around and met the wolf's gaze, her eyes revealing a gloomy light, a faint smile on her lips.
"You beast, you've got to die!" Ma Hehua was furious. In the blink of an eye, this beast dared to peep at her daughter urinating. He was a complete pervert. She should beat him to death, beat him to death!
A pair of delicate, fair hands stopped Ma Hehua. "Mother, let me do it," Ma Lihua's voice was icy.
"Alright! Daughter, let's just send this beast to the afterlife. Don't worry, I carry this Soul-Capturing Bell with me at all times." Ma Hehua gave her daughter a reassuring look, then ran off in a flash.
"You can't blame me, die!" Ma Lihua drew her sword from her waist, twirling it countless times. A terrifying aura flowed through the air, as if getting too close would crush you.
The wolf was scratched beyond recognition and eventually turned into powder, which drifted away with the cold night wind.
The ghost baby hiding in the shadows: "……………………"
That's fucking terrifying, it's even more vicious than those demons.
Several Taoist priests who also happened to be looking to secretly relieve themselves in the bushes: "…………………………"
That's too brutal! Who came from some shady background? They're many times more powerful than their Taoist sect.
Ma Hehua nodded in satisfaction, "Daughter, don't move, Mother will carry you on her back!"
She swiftly ran towards her daughter, her movements as fluid as a glimpse of light on water, leaving those around her completely bewildered.
Why doesn't their sect have this kind of movement technique? The group felt incredibly envious.
But seeing Ma Lihua, looking delicate and panting, lying on Ma Hehua's back, everyone was speechless.
So, one ultimate skill and you're out of mana? If you get ambushed now, are you just waiting to die?
