Chapter 27 Two People Take Action to Capture the Criminal

After Lin Yuan finished drinking, he looked down and saw Zhao Huanhuan looking at him with a flushed face.

He paused. "What's wrong? Do you still want to drink?"

Huanhuan quickly looked away and shook her head, "I'm not drinking anymore!"

Lin Yuan thought there was another bottle in the net bag; if she wanted to drink it later, she could just open that one for her.

After putting the empty bottle into the mesh bag, Lin Yuan looked around and saw several workers in railway uniforms walking towards them, thinking that it must be time to check tickets.

However, they didn't seem to head towards the ticket gates ahead, but instead walked towards the middle of their queue.

Lin Yuan reached out and pulled Zhao Huanhuan in, making her stand in front of him so that the staff wouldn't scold her for not queuing properly.

Suddenly, several people in the middle of the queue seemed to be frightened when they saw five or six staff members walking towards them. They turned around and ran to the back.

The door is in that direction.

Chaos erupted instantly in the crowd. The three people in front of Zhao Huanhuan were pushed towards the staff by the two who suddenly turned around and ran back.

The two men pushed towards Zhao Huanhuan's shoulder again. Lin Yuan saw this and quickly reached out to pull Zhao Huanhuan to protect her behind him. However, Zhao Huanhuan was faster than him and instantly retaliated. She raised her hand and grabbed the arm of the man who was pushing her, grabbed and twisted it, and then quickly turned and threw him over her shoulder, sending him to the ground.

At the same time, Zhao Huanhuan raised one foot and stepped on the other person's chest, glaring at him fiercely, "If you dare to move again, I'll break your ribs!"

This process takes less than five seconds.

The moment Zhao Huanhuan made her move, Lin Yuan saw another person trying to abandon the first person and push through the crowd to escape. He quickly rushed over and, with a few punches and sweeping kicks, pinned the other person to the ground.

At this moment, the railway workers also helped the people who had been pushed in front of them and rushed over, working together with the two of them to grab the two people and put them in handcuffs.

Only then did the staff show their work badges to the two men who had been arrested. "We are railway police, and these two are local police officers. We are cooperating with the investigation. You two are suspected of a murder case. Please come with us to cooperate with our investigation."

They spoke politely, but the handcuffs had to be on. Just from their actions of using others as shields when they tried to escape, it was clear that they treated human life as worthless.

The two men shouted in protest and struggled to escape, but the six police officers were not to be trifled with. After subduing them, they handed them over to six more men who quickly ran up behind them, saying, "Take them back."

Four more police officers left with them, leaving only two to shake hands with Lin Yuan and Zhao Huanhuan, thank them, and introduce themselves as the captains of the railway police and the local police.

One was named Zhao Dongwei, and the other was named Luoyang.

Lin Yuan also introduced himself to them, but he only mentioned the code name and not the unit number. Those inside could tell which system he belonged to and what kind of soldier he was just by hearing the code name.

He also introduced Zhao Huanhuan, saying she was his fiancée, and that he was taking this family visit leave to go to his future father-in-law's house to propose marriage.

Knowing that he was on leave, the two captains thanked them again on behalf of the public security system before taking their leave to handle the case. They told the two captains that they could come to the bureau to find them if they needed anything.

Lin Yuan returned the salute and thanked the two police officers.

After they left, just as the two were about to return to the queue, two more railway staff members came over and thanked Lin Yuan and Zhao Huanhuan once again.

This was the most dangerous thing to do to arrest people in the crowd. They had hesitated, but if the two suspects got on the train, the harm and losses would likely be even greater. There are many things that cannot be predicted.

They decided to take the risk because they saw People's Liberation Army comrades in the group. Fortunately, Lin Yuan was highly skilled in martial arts, and with the unexpected intervention of Zhao Huanhuan, the arrest was carried out perfectly.

Lin Yuan and Zhao Huanhuan were unaware that the two staff members who came to express their gratitude were the stationmaster of the train station and the director of the railway public security bureau.

The two people looked like ordinary staff members and didn't put on airs or reveal their identities, so Lin Yuan and Zhao Huanhuan had no idea that they were high-ranking leaders.

After the two thanking staff members left, Lin Yuan and Zhao Huanhuan exchanged a glance and smiled sheepishly, not expecting to encounter such a situation.

Fearing another accident, Lin Yuan once again shielded Zhao Huanhuan in his arms and placed the items beside them.

"Comrade, you two are amazing! We were terrified just now!"

"Yes, comrade, are you two newly married? Thank you so much for your help earlier."

"Our People's Liberation Army is the most reliable. If it weren't for you two taking action, those two bad guys would have escaped."

People around them craned their necks and began to express their gratitude to Lin Yuan and Zhao Huanhuan.

Lin Yuan smiled, said "It's only right," and then fell silent.

Their conversation with the two captains was naturally held aside, and the people there didn't hear it.

At this time, these people referred to the two of them as a young couple, and Lin Yuan did not bother to explain. In his heart, Huanhuan would soon be his wife, and there was no need to explain this to a group of strangers.

Given that Huanhuan was wearing a red shirt today, it's normal for people to misunderstand her.

Zhao Huanhuan chuckled at the crowd and then fell silent. She was about to introduce herself and Lin Yuan as an engaged couple, not yet married, when Lin Yuan hadn't said anything, so she kept quiet. After all, they were getting married in a few days anyway.

Therefore, the two simply smiled in response to the praise and compliments from the crowd.

Fortunately, after another ten minutes or so, ticket checking and entry to the station began.

There were quite a few people on this train. After boarding in order, they found their seats and put their things under the seats on the floor. Lin Yuan let Zhao Huanhuan sit in the window seat, while he sat in the middle, leaving an empty seat next to him.

Soon, a middle-aged man sat down in the empty seat. He was wearing a Zhongshan suit with a pen in his jacket pocket, and looked like an official going on a business trip.

Seeing that the person sitting next to him was a member of the People's Liberation Army, the middle-aged man took the initiative to say a few words to Lin Yuan.

Lin Yuan responded politely, but did not inquire about the other party's identity or what they were going to do.

This person didn't say what he did, but he looked Zhao Huanhuan up and down a few times. When he saw Zhao Huanhuan talking to Lin Yuan, he realized that the two of them were together.

His eyes darkened for a moment, then he lowered his head and leaned back in his chair to rest, concealing the expression in his eyes.
