Chapter 123 Farewell Song

Chapter 123 Farewell Song

Li Wenxi was relatively calm because he already knew about this.

Han Yi was called out by Teacher Xu to say a few brief goodbyes to everyone.

Chen Hongjun even secretly wiped away a tear.

Teacher Xu added: "The barbecue ingredients today were bought by Han Yi, who said he would treat the classmates in the class. Let us thank Han Yi."

Everyone applauded.

"If you have anything to say, you can talk to Han Yi. You can also recite a farewell poem."

Teacher Xu's words made everyone laugh again.

Unexpectedly, Zheng Shunli took the initiative to come out with a guitar, "Hongjun and I have prepared a song for Han Yi."

Teacher Xu took the lead in applauding, "Okay, let's look forward to it."

Han Yi seemed to have never seen Zheng Shunli and Chen Hongjun so sentimental, and he touched his nose unconsciously.

Zheng Shunli walked to the center and sat on the grass and started playing. As soon as the melody sounded, everyone knew it was the song "Farewell".

Chen Hongjun sang along with the melody. His amazing voice and his carefree appearance once again made everyone look at him differently.

"Outside the long pavilion, beside the ancient road, the green grass stretches to the sky..."

Everyone listened quietly at first, and then slowly sang along, forming a chorus.

The sea breeze blew gently, blowing the singing to the distance.

Li Wenxi wanted to ask Han Yi how much the book cost, but after the song was over, a group of boys surrounded Han Yi and talked to him, so Li Wenxi didn't find a chance.

When the group of boys finally dispersed, Li Wenxi hurried over and found out that Han Yi had already left.

He said that his family was leaving for Beijing this afternoon, and Han Yi had rushed over in the morning.

Li Wenxi stood there and looked at the book in his hand, slightly stunned. He actually left so fast.

Qiao Xiaoyun kept crying, as if she couldn't accept this fact. She walked over to Zheng Shunli who was staring at the sea and said, "Han Yi is leaving here. Why didn't you tell me?"

Zheng Shunli was in a bad mood because of the parting of his good friend, so he was not as polite as usual. "Why should I tell you? If I told you, you could still go to Beijing?"

Qiao Xiaoyun was speechless. Finally, she asked, "Did Deputy Commander Han transfer to the Beijing Military Region? Why didn't anyone tell me?"

"There are so many things you don't know." Chen Hongjun walked over and said.

"Then do you know the address of Han Yi's home in Beijing? I want to go to Beijing to find him in the future."

"I don't know." If they told them, Han Yi would beat them silly when they met in the future.

After Han Yi left, Qiao Xiaoyun was in a very low mood, and her grades plummeted. She was at

the bottom of the class in the final exam.

But the division of arts and science in the second year of high school is based on grades. Only the top

60 students in the total score of arts can enter the experimental arts class. Only

the top 150 students in the total score of science can enter the experimental classes 1, 2 and 3.

So Qiao Xiaoyun was assigned to the fourth class of the ordinary class.

Qian Hong and Wang Mei have not studied as hard as before since they joined the choir, but they still have a foundation. They ranked last in the final exam and stayed in the experimental class 1.

Li Wenxi and Gao Hui also stayed in the experimental class 1.

Zhang Shulan and Hao Sanmei went to the experimental arts class.

After reading the report cards and dividing the classes, everyone was reluctant to move all the books in the desks back to the dormitory or take them home, because they had to leave the classroom to take the high school entrance examination three days later.

Li Wenxi had just put the books in the drawer into her schoolbag when her head teacher, Ms. Xu, asked her to go to the office. When she

entered the office, Li Wenxi actually saw the long-haired man who stopped her last time, and a middle-aged woman.

Seeing Li Wenxi come in, Ms. Xu introduced the two people to her: it turned out that the long-haired man was Director Yang Ming of Hujiang Film Studio, and the middle-aged woman was Director Wen of Ningcheng Cultural Bureau.
