Chapter 38: Can't See His Future

Su Lan had never heard of it before. She even learned about the existence of these forces only a few days ago when she received a letter of recommendation from the Ancient Chinese Literature Association.

Lidya Su looked puzzled: "I don't know him, is he a very powerful person?"

Mog gave her information about a lot of important people, but the uncle the orc mentioned was not among them.

Uncle Sang Cui said that those people were not particularly important and that they could be ignored for now and that they could be understood slowly. He was not so strict in educating the cubs.

Therefore, Su Lan had no impression of the uncle who was the vice president mentioned by the orc.

The orc showed his backer to Su Lan, hoping that she would give up and he could continue to cause trouble for Chijia, but Su Lan's words made him pause.

"You don't even know? Where did this country bumpkin come from? The Classical Chinese Literature Association is not a place for you to play. Ask your family to take you to the amusement park."

Where did this strong and uncouth cub come from?

He knows nothing and yet he comes here to ruin his plans!

Su Lan raised the letter in her hand: I got the recommendation letter, let me see what this place does.

"Letter of recommendation?!" Orc Kyle stared at the cub, Su Lan, who was barely thigh-high, in disbelief. This incident made him feel worse than killing him. "I became famous at a young age, and even though I come from a family with a legacy of ancient literature, I've never been able to join the association, and you, a cub who knows nothing, can. You say I'm not bad, but you're just biased."

Chijia, a civilian of unknown origin, and this cub can join the association easily, so why can't he?

Kyle became more and more unconvinced, and his expression gradually became unfriendly when he looked at Lidya Su.

Why?

How can a young girl like her understand ancient Chinese literature research? The president is just biased!

"Kyle, this is a feud between us. Why are you making things difficult for a cub?" Chijia stared at Kyle coldly. He looked at the passersby injured by the starship and being dragged away for rescue. His voice was filled with anger. "You hurt passersby. The laws of the empire will not let you off easily."

Kyle shares the same ideas as his uncle, the vice president. He discriminates against orcs who do not have a family heritage of ancient texts, believing that they cannot produce good things and will only take up resources.

Unexpectedly, many civilians gradually showed their talent for ancient Chinese literature research and successfully joined the Ancient Chinese Literature Association, but Kyle was always rejected.

Kyle is very conceited, and being rejected many times is like being poured with a bucket of cold water on his head. So he is jealous and targets civilian orcs who have trouble getting letters of recommendation, and tries every means to cripple or kill them.

As long as all the civilian orcs who want to report to the association are unable to go, his spot will always come.

Recently, he has been targeting Chijia who came from a remote orc galaxy, and wanted to kill him by causing an accidental car accident. Unexpectedly, he was disrupted by a little kid who appeared out of nowhere.

But he was also the one who received the invitation.

Kyle didn't take the law seriously at all: "Hahaha, Imperial law? I've never been afraid of it. I've committed so many crimes and killed so many people, but no one has ever brought me to court?"

No matter what trouble he gets into, his family will help him settle it personally.

Kyle and Chijia confronted each other directly. The eyes between the two orcs became more and more unfriendly, and they were about to transform into beasts and fight.

Su Lan discovered that the two of them had an old grudge, and curiously looked at the gold leaves on their bodies, wanting to see their future, and discovered something interesting.

Su Lan could not see the golden leaves on Chi Jia, nor could she see his future. She could only see a few fragmented images flash by.

Lidya Su saw it clearly.

There is a fiery red scale symbol tattooed on the back of Chijia's shoulder, exactly the same as the black market entrance pass!

Nothing else can be seen.

Lidya Su: "Is my ability ineffective?"

[Oh, I can't see it. He must have some special ability or shielding device. He doesn't look like a down-and-out civilian orc who's been bullied. He's a bit strange. Be careful with him for now.] The little light ball rarely encountered this kind of situation, and for a moment, it was a novelty. [The ability hasn't disappeared. Look at the others.]

I seem to have seen this red scales logo somewhere before during the interstellar adventure.

The red fox boy is a very strange existence.

Lidya Su looked at Kyle again, and this time she saw the golden leaves and his future.

Seeing this, Su Lan's face drooped again, and she was very displeased with him.

Kyle is a man who harms others to pave the way for himself in order to study ancient texts. This time, he deliberately hit people, causing many innocent people to die on the way to rescue. He and his uncle, the vice president, forged evidence and put the blame on the president, causing the former president to be disgraced and commit suicide, and they successfully took over.

They live their lives without any care, and no one knows about the innocent people who died tragically behind them.

Su Lan thought of the dozens of passers-by who had just fallen to the ground. When she thought of their families crying in pain when they heard the news, a sense of justice arose in her heart, and she was filled with anger towards Kyle.

Lidya Su was furious, like a kitten baring its teeth and claws: "You killed many innocent people, you are a bad guy. They don't dare to catch you, but I do."

Su Lan was angry, and Chi Jia beside him smiled, and a fire ignited in his hand: "I can do it, I don't need the cub to protect me."

Kyle simply called out to his bodyguards: "Come on!"

These two people are so arrogant, they need to be taught a lesson!

Lidya Su put her hands on her hips and said, "You brought people, and I brought people too."

Su Lan would not fight alone in a group fight. The bodyguards hiding nearby all rushed to Su Lan's side at once, each of them with murderous intent.

"What do you want to do to our young lady?"

He actually dared to be so cruel to their little prince and even let the bodyguards deal with the cub. It was obvious that he was not a good person.

Kyle found that this group of people looked unremarkable, but each of them had a mental strength of at least S-level. Together, they were like a small army, and he felt like he had hit a wall.

When did such a cub appear in the Imperial Star?

He brings so many bodyguards with him when he goes out to play alone. He must be a treasure at home, and they are treated like the apple of his eye.

Kyle felt a little discouraged, wondering if he had offended someone serious.

Thinking about how he had never seen this cub in the upper class society, and how she didn't recognize the vice president of the Classical Literature Association, her uneasiness was quickly suppressed.

She must be the daughter of a nouveau riche family. She has never seen the world and doesn't know her place and who can mess with her.

Kyle: "Go ahead! Let them know how powerful I am. I can handle anything that happens."

After a while, Kyle and the bodyguards were knocked to the ground again by Su Lan and the others.

Kyle was shocked. As the eldest son of the Gray Wolf family, how could he not be able to beat a cub of only a few years old?

The bodyguards are useless, they can't even handle a cub and a civilian!

At this moment, the internal meeting of the Ancient Chinese Literature Association just ended and a group of people walked out.

As soon as Kyle saw his uncle, the vice president, his eyes lit up and he immediately started to confuse right and wrong and make accusations.

"President, uncle, there are two people here who are causing trouble. You must help drive them out!
