Chapter 149 Mom, My Butt Hurts

It took me half a month to walk, staggering.

The car broke down on the way and delayed us for a day.

"Mom, my butt hurts." Little Phoenix shouted, covering his butt.

"Come, let mommy take a look," Liang Qi picked up the child and gently massaged him.

How could her butt not hurt after sitting in the car for such a long time? She felt pain too.

"We're finally here. Do we have to take a boat to get there?" Zhang Guishu said with a pale face.

"Yes, Auntie." Huang Sihai replied.

"Oh, I'm seasick!" Zhang Guishu's wrinkled face almost turned into a bitter gourd.

Liang Qi remembered that people in the north do get seasick.

"Mom, after we get on the boat, just sleep on it and treat it as a cradle?" This was the only solution Liang Qi could think of.

"Mom, I've never been on a boat. I want to." Little Phoenix's face was full of excitement.

Liang Qi himself didn't know whether his body would get seasick, so he could only pray.

"Grandpa, why don't you say anything? I know, Grandpa is not afraid of water." Little Phoenix felt that he had guessed correctly.

The little face is bright.

"Grandpa, are you seasick too?" Liang Qi looked at the old man who was sitting upright.

He seemed to be clenching his fists nervously.

"Hehe, who said that? How is that possible?" He said as his eyes wandered around, not looking at the people around him.

"Well, I'm not seasick, Brother Huang, how are you?" Liang Qi moved to Huang Sihai's side.

"I'm not dizzy. I was a good sailor when I was young." Huang Sihai said with a smile, showing his white teeth.

Liang Qi was a little envious. It seemed that only two of them were certain to faint, and the situation of the other two was unknown. If they were sure that one person would not faint, at least one would be reserved for them so that they could still keep an eye on things when the time comes.

"I'll go over and ask what's going on. You guys sit down and rest for a while, stretch your hands and kick your legs. You've been on the bus for more than ten days, so you should relax your muscles." Huang Sihai asked a few people to rest and ran to the boat ticket office.

"Okay, thank you for your help," Liang Qi held the child and sat with the old man, looking at the things around him.

"What's the trouble?" he said and ran out.

"I've heard others talk about the sea before, but this is the first time I've seen it." Zhang Guishu overcame her fear while holding on to the railing and looking at the sea.

"It's my first time seeing this too." Little Phoenix ran around excitedly.

"Slow down, don't run. What if you accidentally get hit by so many people?" Liang Qi screamed in shock at the little phoenix's dangerous movements.

There are few places with railings here, and some places have no fences at all. If you fall in, you really fall in. It's not like a river where you can tell the depth in such a deep place.

But this is the deep sea, and the danger is even greater.

"I understand, Mom." The little phoenix came over obediently.

"Be good, come to grandpa, let's rest here for a while," Nie Guo held the child's hand.

"I feel dizzy. I don't want to watch anymore. In just a moment, I felt like the whole ground was floating on the sea." Zhang Guishu covered her eyes and relaxed.

"Just keep your eyes on the ground," Liang Qi suggested, seeing the old man's sad look.

"I wonder if it's like this every day over there at Nie Zheng's place?" Zhang Guishu said while covering her eyes.

"It shouldn't be like that," Liang Qi had never seen it before, but the waves wouldn't be as rough as at the pier.

The three of them said this and waited for news.

After a while, Huang Sihai came back with two marching canteens in his hands.

"Here, drink some water first. I'll go contact Nie Zheng." Huang Sihai handed it to the three people.

"Thank you for your hard work," Nie Guo said as he took the water.

"Hehe, it's not hard. You drink, I'll be back soon." Huang Sihai took the letter and went to find the phone.

It's better here than in the north, at least we can get information by phone.

After drinking the water, Zhang Guishu could no longer hold on.

The old man was also a little tired, and Little Phoenix had fallen asleep in Liang Qi's arms.

Both adults and children are very tired. Even if we can contact them, we have to wait until the elderly and children have rested well before we can leave tomorrow.

"We can't catch the boat today. We can take the first one tomorrow morning." Huang Sihai looked at the old people and children who had fallen asleep with their eyes drooping, and whispered to Liang Qi.

"Also, Nie Zheng will come personally to pick us up on the island tomorrow."

"Then let's find a place to rest for the night," Liang Qi watched as the whole family fell asleep exhausted.

"We have a place to rest. Nie Zheng has already contacted the people here. Someone will come to pick us up later." Huang Sihai handed the note to Liang Qi.

Liang Qi looked at the information above and found out that it was the police station at the dock.

"Then let's wait for a while?" Liang Qi saw that someone was indeed coming to pick him up.

"Well, that's just right. Let them take some time off first." Huang Sihai was already used to it. He used to fight for three days and three nights without a rest.

Now at least he can take a nap for a while, so he is still in good spirits.

Most of the things have already been mailed, and judging by the time, they should have arrived long ago.

Now they just took some spare clothes, shoes, and food.

They all traveled light.

At about 1:00 or 20:00, two young men in blue uniforms appeared.

"Excuse me, are you Comrade Huang Sihai and Comrade Liang Qi?"

"Yes, we are,"

"Please show me your identification,"

"This is our certificate," Liang Qi handed the certificates of the four people in his family to the police officer.

"Comrade, this is mine," Huang Sihai handed him his work ID.

"Hello, we received a notice from Brigade Commander Nie and came here specially to pick you up to live there. Please follow me." Two young comrades helped everyone carry their things.

"good,"

"Mom, Grandpa, let's go to where we live first." Liang Qi called the two old people softly.

"Ah? Can I take a break now?" Zhang Guishu was already dazed.

"I can finally have a good sleep." The old man was so tired that he couldn't open his eyes.

"Comrade, we will be there in four or five minutes, you can have a good rest now." The young police superintendent said considerately after hearing the old man's words.

"Okay, okay! You lead the way, let's go quickly." Nie Guo urged.

Several people followed and arrived in less than five minutes. It was very close to the pier and the accommodation looked very clean.

Two men share one room, and three women share one room.

Everyone lay down with their clothes on and fell asleep.

I didn’t eat much.

On the other side, Nie Zheng also received a call from Huang Sihai.

I know my family has arrived at the dock and I can see them tomorrow.

Nie Zheng has already arranged his work and will personally pick up his wife, children and elderly parents tomorrow.

"Captain Nie, do you need help from anyone else?" He Longcheng saw Nie Zheng moving things into his home yesterday.

It seems like several large boxes were sent from my hometown.

He was there all by himself, without asking anyone for help.

"No, it's nothing," Nie Zheng would not bother others if he could avoid it.

"Okay, just let me know if you need anything," He Longcheng said with a smile.

"Thanks." Politician Nie said angrily.
