Chapter 51 Good health and good luck

Third Grandma glanced at the dejected crowd, turned around and walked back slowly.

Chen Qiangwei and Wang Xiaomai quickly jumped off the ox cart, each supporting one side of Gu Sannai, "Third Grandma, let's go together."

Gu Sannai's lips curled up slightly, then quickly drooped down, and she shook her hands, "Let go, do you really think I'm half buried in the ground?"

Chen Qiangwei said flatteringly, "How could that be? You are so healthy that you will surely live to be a hundred years old."

Wang Xiaomai, "Yes, Third Madam, you still have to escort us. You are so majestic. When you show up, those gossipy old women dare not say a word and leave in shame."

Aunt Gu San was flattered by the two men's sweet words and flattery, and her hunched back straightened a little. Uncle Gu Wu drove the ox cart slowly beside them.

He said in a long voice, "Third sister-in-law, with these two girls at home, it will be a lot more lively, right?"

The third sister-in-law seems to be in much better condition than before. Although she still looks as mean and unkind as before, she is now full of life. Aiguo has made the right move.

Gu Sannai replied, "What's the point of talking about excitement? It's making my ears go deaf."

Uncle Gu Wu saw that Aunt Gu San was talking with disdain and smiled, and he didn't know who had hurriedly spoken up to defend the two girls.

"Master, Master, hurry up, hurry up."

"Fifth Master, hurry up! You're too slow! Dahei, go! Run faster!"

When Chen Qiangwei and Wang Xiaomai jumped off the ox cart, Goudan and Maodan climbed onto it using their hands and feet, and the six little rascals who played well with them also climbed up.

Now they are playing around on the ox cart, and they are complaining that the cart is too slow, and they are clamoring for Uncle Gu Wu to drive the cart faster.

"You little brats, sit still. If anyone falls down and his butt isn't broken into eight pieces, I'll whip him into eight pieces with a whip."

After hearing this, the group of poor kids quickly covered their buttocks and sat obediently on the ox cart. Grandpa Wu’s whip was very painful.

The little carrot head is not stable. He will be quiet for less than three seconds and then start chattering again.

A little kid looked at the packages and said enviously, "Sister Chen has so many packages! They're more than everything in my house combined."

"You're bragging! Your pots, water tanks, and bed are much bigger than the package."

"You're such a fool! Can pots, water tanks, and beds be sent as parcels?"

Maodan imitated his grandfather's movements and waved his hand, "Everyone, be quiet. What are you making noise for? If you continue to make noise, get down."

Goudan reached out and slapped his friend's hand, "Don't touch that. My grandfather said you can't touch things that don't belong to you."

The beaten little carrot head glanced at Chen Qiangwei secretly, touched his hand and smiled, "I didn't touch it, I just wanted to see what the package looked like."

This was the first time he had been so close to the package since he was a child. He was so curious.

Maodan, "Yes, my grandfather said that only the devils and spies would touch other people's things and steal other people's things.

If anyone dares to mess around, next time we play the game, let him be the devil or the spy, and we will be the Eighth Route Army specializing in catching devils and spies."

Chen Qiangwei laughed after hearing what the little carrot heads said. She didn't expect that these little carrot heads were so funny. She had seen many little devils in her previous life. In her opinion, children meant trouble.

After returning to Grandma Gu San's house, Uncle Gu Wu helped Chen Qiangwei and Wang Xiaomai unload the packages.

Before Uncle Gu Wu drove off, Chen Qiangwei stuffed a handful of fruit candies into his hand and said, "Uncle Wu, thank you! If you hadn't helped deliver the package to Third Grandma's house, I probably wouldn't be able to leave right now."

Chen Qiangwei's scalp tingled when she thought of those aunts who were as ferocious as wolves and tigers.

In the past, the ox cart would stop at the brigade headquarters, and everyone would get off at the brigade headquarters. Uncle Gu Wu drove the ox cart to deliver the package to the doorstep because of the big white flour buns in the cloth bag.

Uncle Gu Wu refused, "No, it's not a big deal."

Chen Qiangwei stuffed the candy into Uncle Gu Wu's hand and said, "Take it. Take it back and give it to Goudan to sweeten his mouth. Goudan is a smart and sensible child. He is very likable."

After listening to Chen Qiangwei's words, Uncle Gu Wu glanced at his grandson who was sitting obediently on the ox cart. After thinking for a moment, he accepted the candy and said, "Okay, then I won't be polite."

No matter how hard life is for adults, they are reluctant to let their children suffer.

Chen Qiangwei gave each of the eight little ones a piece of candy in turn, "Open your hands, this is a reward from your sister. Remember to tell me next time you receive a letter from me."

Eight little carrot heads jumped happily on the ox cart, their mouths as sweet as honey.

"Thank you, Sister Chen. I wish you good health and all the best." Well, this is all the New Year's greetings.

"Thank you, Sister Chen. You are so kind. We will tell you next time we have a letter from you."

"Thank you, Sister Chen. Sister Chen, you are so beautiful. You are the prettiest girl in our team." This girl is probably someone who has been hanging out in the circle of middle-aged women for many years.

"Thank you, Sister Chen. If Sister Chen has anything in the future, I will tell you the first time."

Chen Qiangwei: "Thank you, but just tell me what's relevant to me, nothing else."

Don't underestimate children. When adults speak ill of others, they will deliberately avoid other people, but they will not be wary of children because in their eyes, children have not yet grown all their hair and do not understand anything.

Little do they know that these children, whom they think know nothing, actually know more gossip than anyone else.

Chen Qiangwei doesn't want to hear gossip every day.

Uncle Gu Wu: "Okay, let's all go back. It's late, and you won't have any share of the meal at home."

After hearing this, the little kids took the candies and ran home laughing, peeling the candies and putting them in their mouths as they ran.
