Chapter 1040 What's the matter

"Thank you." Zhang Xingrong nodded. Xiao Jianming's words had clearly reminded her that the Huang family was part of the Wei family. With that in mind, she had quite a few enemies!

So why did Huang Renan come to her shop in the first place?

Thinking of this, Zhang Xingrong also went back home.

The house was filled with warmth. Aunt Dazhu came over again, bringing some fresh vegetables. Since Zhang Xingrong refused to accept payment, she could only do small tasks. Over time, she gradually became familiar with the Lu family.

Mrs. Lin, the old lady, and Aunt Dazhu, the outsider, started chatting together.

Because Aunt Dazhu came from outside and always had some new and interesting news, the three of them liked to chat together.

"Look at these old ladies, they are chattering all day long, and I don't know what they are talking about!" The old man stared at them and said.

Uncle Zhong smiled and said, "If you want to listen, just go over there."

"Who said I want to listen?" The old man snorted, "I don't want to listen to what the old lady says. There's nothing good in it!"

Uncle Zhong shook his head and smiled helplessly. This old man is just like that, he is stubborn even though he is dying. He is so bored that he wants to count his fingers, but he still insists on being stubborn!

"Ah," sighed the old man, "playing chess isn't fun anymore."

Uncle Zhong laughed: "So you don't want to play anymore?"

"What else can I do if I don't play!" The old man rubbed the chess pieces in his hand boredly. "Xiao Wen has been very busy lately, reading books and writing contracts. He hasn't even left the house!"

"Isn't this good? I'll go see him later." Uncle Zhong smiled. This old man is just too idle. He doesn't know what to do with his free time.

It's pretty good, but he's so bored that he always wants to find something to do.

"Grandpa, I'm back!"

The old man immediately laughed: "Why are you back at noon? Have you eaten?"

"Oh, Rongya is back!" Aunt Dazhu turned around and smiled at Zhang Xingrong.

"Aunt Dazhu, you're here, Grandma Lin!" Zhang Xingrong greeted them and turned around to ask, "Grandpa, have you eaten yet?"

"I've eaten." The old man smiled, "If you haven't eaten yet, go and eat."

Zhang Xingrong said, "Grandpa, do you want some fruit? I'll cut some watermelon for you. Uncle Zhong, I have something to ask you."

"What's the matter? Why don't you ask grandpa?" The old man saw that she was sweating from running. He must have not eaten. He felt distressed and aggrieved. Why didn't the little girl come to him when she had something to do? He was the little girl's biggest supporter!

Zhang Xingrong didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "It's just a small matter, Grandpa, don't bother listening to it."

"How could that be? Let's go to the cafeteria!" said the old man happily. He likes to hear little things now!

"Let me cut the watermelon." Uncle Zhong took the watermelon and went to the kitchen to cut it with a knife.

The two of them arrived at the dining room, and the old man asked after seeing him fill his meal.

"What's wrong with you, little girl?"

Zhang Xingrong nodded: "Grandpa, tell me about these messed up relationships in the provincial capital!"

Grandpa Lu was puzzled: "What happened? Did someone bully you? Who was that blind person who bullied you? Tell grandpa!"

"No, Grandpa," Zhang Xingrong said with a smile, "It's just a small matter at work. I don't need your help at the moment. When I need your help, I will definitely tell you. Don't think I'm annoying then."

The old man said cheerfully: "How could that be? If you have anything, you must tell grandpa."
