Chapter 429: Stuffing

Zhang Xingrong raised her eyebrows. "That's perfect. I need an accountant to keep accounts. How about you come to my factory and work as an accountant?"

What Su Ying's father said wasn't necessarily without truth. Nutrition significantly impacts a child's intellectual development. She remembered a previous life in which elementary and middle schools had a nutritious lunch program. This program was prompted by an experiment conducted by a foreign professor. The experiment showed that students who ate nutritious meals for a year performed better academically and performed exceptionally well in math Olympiads.

That's why the nutritious lunch program came into being. But now she won't talk about it, and Su Ying wouldn't understand even if she did.

Su Ying couldn't believe it and opened her eyes wide: "Accounting? Can I do it? I've never done it before!"

The production team had an accountant, a position that was generally highly sought after. She felt she didn't have the skills.

Zhang Xingrong encouraged her: "You are so good at math, you are actually very suitable for this kind of work. If you feel that you have never done it before, I will ask the accountant of the production team to teach you. Sister Su Ying, I need to find a trustworthy and capable accountant. After much consideration, you are the most suitable."

After hearing this, Su Ying became serious and gained a lot of confidence: "Okay, in that case, I'll give it a try!"

The two went to Luo Darong to talk about this matter. Luo Darong immediately arranged for the production team accountant to take Su Ying with him.

Now he not only thinks Zhang Xingrong is capable, but also respects and admires her very much.

"Rongya, I went to see the fruit trees on the mountain. Your brother planted quite a few more last month. Most of the mountain is covered with them, and they're lush and green. Maybe they'll actually bear fruit next year!"

He didn't believe it before, but after Zhang Xingrong opened a factory, he became a big believer. So he went up the mountain every day these days to help manage the fruit trees.

Zhang Xingrong nodded. "Next year, when the fruit grows, we can sell it to the supply and marketing cooperative or the grocery store. This will bring in more income for the village."

The villagers didn't believe her, but she was confident. She'd grafted many fruit trees while in prison, and they'd grown beautifully. And since they were in the south, the trees stayed green even in winter. And since there hadn't been any snow this year, it was probably a warm winter, so the fruit trees were growing especially well.

After hearing this, Luo Darong became even more excited: "Rongya, you manage the factory well, and you don't have to worry about the production team."

"Thank you, Captain!" After dealing with the matter, Zhang Xingrong went back.

When I got home, I saw a bunch of aunties from Zhangjia Village gathered at the door, dragging Shitou with them and stuffing things into their mouths. Shitou refused to take them, but they forced their way in. Even Luo Wangshan was given a lot of things to eat. But Luo Wangshan was a bit more aggressive and just threw the things away.

"What are you doing?"

"Sister!" Shitou saw Zhang Xingrong and quickly pushed everyone aside and ran over. Luo Wangshan followed behind him.

Zhang Xingrong gave the two children a thumbs up: "Well done!"

The two children were immediately delighted. Luo Wangshan had known since childhood that one shouldn't ask for things from others. As for Shitou, no one had ever given him anything before; she had only recently started teaching him. But Shitou was learning very well.

"Rongya, you're back!"

"Rongya, take these eggs back and eat them!"

"I have some cloth here, take it back and make some clothes!"

People from Zhangjia Village ran over, chattering, and stuffed things into her hands.

Zhang Xingrong sneered, "If you keep forcing me to give you something, I'll report you to the commune. Bribery is punishable by imprisonment or forced labor. Do you really want to force me to give you something?"

Sure enough, the group of people on the opposite side didn't dare to move.
