Gu Jingyuan naturally understood his mother's good intentions, "Miaomiao, let's go over there."
So, Shen Qingmiao and Gu Jingyuan came to their seats and sat down. There weren't many people watching movies during the day, and the people sitting in the screening room were sparsely populated.
After the movie started, the entire screening room became dim, and then sounds came from the screen at the front.
Shen Qingmiao stared at the screen intently, his face full of interest.
The film being shown was a period piece, and Shen Qingmiao was watching it with great interest. Gu Jingyuan, on the other hand, wasn't particularly interested in the film, but instead stared at Shen Qingmiao with great interest.
She's better looking than the movie.
The movie had just passed its climax, and Shen Qingmiao's mood relaxed. She turned around and saw Gu Jingyuan staring at her. "Why are you looking at me instead of the movie?"
Gu Jingyuan also lowered his voice, "You are better looking than the movie."
Perhaps it was because Gu Jingyuan looked too serious that Shen Qingmiao couldn't help but feel shy. "Stop talking nonsense and go watch the movie."
There's a saying that goes, "The more you look at a beautiful woman under the light, the more beautiful she becomes." Gu Jingyuan was in this state right now. The flickering light shone on Shen Qingmiao's face, giving her a hazy look.
Gu Jingyuan's right hand slowly moved towards Shen Qingmiao and finally held Shen Qingmiao's left hand.
The warmth from the thick palm was like a magic, passing from the palm all the way to the heart.
"Stop being in a daze and watch a movie."
Gu Jingyuan's sudden words instantly sobered Shen Qingmiao up. Seeing Gu Jingyuan's face up close made her feel dizzy. "Sit still. Don't get so close."
