Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Song Shiyu seemed oblivious to this and just looked down at the screen of his mobile phone, not knowing what he was thinking.

Bai Siang couldn't help but be curious. He leaned close to Song Shiyu's ear, lowered his voice, and his eyes flashed with excitement: "What is your relationship with this Brother Gu? I think he treats you... differently. That look, that tone, is definitely interesting!"

Song Shiyu didn't even raise his head and replied lightly, accurately hitting Bai Siang's "pain point": "No matter how interested he is in me, it's not as interesting as Zhou Yue's interest in you."

Bai Siang was like a cat whose tail was stepped on. He immediately made a "tsk" sound and glared at Song Shiyu unhappily: "Why bring him up for no reason? It's so unlucky!"

Song Shiyu ignored him, checked the time, and called a designated driver using the mobile app.

Then he said to Bai Siang, "I have something to do. I'll go to the company to get some documents first. You guys can have fun. I've already bought the bill." After that, he stood up and walked straight to the door without waiting for Bai Siang to react.

Passing through the noisy dance floor and the crowd, Song Shiyu walked into the relatively quiet underground parking lot.

Cold white light illuminated the empty space, and footsteps echoed in the silence.

He just walked to his car, took out the car key to unlock it, and before he could open the door, suddenly -

A warm and solid body came up tightly from behind without any warning, and a pair of strong arms suddenly wrapped him in the arms like an iron hoop, firmly locking him between the car door and him!

Song Shiyu's body tensed up instantly, and he subconsciously wanted to struggle and fight back. However, when he clearly saw the familiar face of the person behind him through the dark car window glass in front of him, all his movements froze.

It’s Ji Zhiqi.

What is he doing?

Song Shiyu's heart suddenly started beating wildly. He could clearly feel the equally unsteady heartbeat coming from Ji Zhiqi's chest behind him, as well as the scorching body temperature that could be felt through his clothes.

He tried to move, trying to break free from this overly intimate and strong restraint, but Ji Zhiqi's arms were incredibly strong and he didn't move at all.

Then, Ji Zhiqi's low voice, filled with suppressed anger, rang close to his ear. His warm breath brushed against his neck, bringing a shudder. "What are you doing there?"

Song Shiyu's brain went blank for a moment, and he answered almost instinctively: "Having a few drinks with friends."

"Drinking?" Ji Zhiqi's voice became deeper, with obvious questioning, "Do you really need to go to a place like this to drink?"

Ji Zhiqi came today to deliver the opening gift.

A friend of mine opened his new bar some time ago. He was out of town at the time and couldn't make it, so he came here today to express his gratitude.

He never expected that he would see the figure who had made him uneasy for some time - Song Shiyu.

He just stood in the dark, watching Song Shiyu talking and clinking glasses with the mature man, and watching people coming forward to chat with him. The nameless fire in his heart seemed to be poured with fuel, rising up and almost burning his sanity.

Song Shiyu took a deep breath and tried to keep his voice steady: "Can you let go for a moment? Let's talk properly."

Ji Zhiqi seemed not to hear. In the dim light, his extremely beautiful eyes, reflected through the car window, locked onto Song Shiyu's eyes, as if he wanted to see into the depths of his soul.

He spoke word by word in a hoarse voice, but the facts he listed were like bombs that exploded in Song Shiyu's ears:

"I only drink black coffee from a specific origin, without sugar or milk. Every commercial endorsement I've signed in the past three years, with its specific terms and promotion period. The cities, dates, and even the setlists for every one of my concerts. That limited-edition, high-quality monitor headphones. The medicine I desperately need when I catch a cold abroad. And all those random hobbies of mine that I might even overlook..."

He called out his name clearly, and each word hit Song Shiyu's heart. "Do you think I don't know all this? Song, Shi, Yu."

Song Shiyu's body completely froze, and his blood seemed to solidify in an instant.

It turned out... he knew everything. Ji Zhiqi actually knew all the attention he thought he had hidden well, the cautious approach, the silent consideration.

The moment he heard Ji Zhiqi call out his name in such a low and affirmative tone, an indescribable feeling, a mixture of embarrassment, panic and a strange numbness, suddenly surged up from the bottom of his heart and quickly spread to every part of his body.

He opened his mouth, but found that he couldn't find any suitable words to respond for a moment.

Ji Zhiqi's voice became increasingly hoarse, as if rubbed by sandpaper. His voice carried the nasal sound of someone who hadn't recovered from a cold, yet it had a unique sexiness. He asked the most crucial question: "Song Shiyu, do you like me?"

With a bang, Song Shiyu felt all the blood in his body rushing to his cheeks, and the tips of his ears were incredibly hot.

Having his secrets exposed so bluntly left him almost at a loss as to what to do.

He exerted force suddenly, broke free from Ji Zhiqi's arms, turned around, and forced himself to look directly into Ji Zhiqi's eyes, which were still surprisingly bright in the dim light of the parking lot. His heart was beating wildly in his chest.

Now that you have been seen through, any further denial or escape seems pointless and cowardly.

He took a deep breath, as if he had used up all his strength, and answered clearly and firmly: "Yes. Ji Zhiqi, I do like you."

The moment he finished speaking, he saw a smile on Ji Zhiqi's face. That smile was different from the idol-like smile that radiated on the stage. Instead, it carried a real, sexy, and even a little bit of ruffian pride and joy, as if he had finally captured the long-awaited prey.

His beautiful eyes curved slightly, and his voice was hoarse, mixed with the dryness of a cold that hadn't yet healed, but strangely, it was even more captivating: "Very good."

The next second, Ji Zhiqi reached out and nimbly took his coat that had been casually draped over Song Shiyu's arm. He suddenly opened it and then raised his arm. The wide coat covered the two of them tightly from head to toe like a curtain, instantly blocking out any possible sight from the outside world and creating an absolutely private, small space that belonged only to the two of them.

Song Shiyu leaned against the cold car door, facing Ji Zhiqi who was standing so close to him. In the darkness created by the coats and the sounds of each other's breathing, he could clearly feel the heat and strong masculine scent coming from each other.

Before he had time to adapt to the sudden darkness and intimacy, he felt a sudden heat on his lips - Ji Zhiqi had already lowered his head and kissed him!

Song Shiyu's eyes widened in astonishment. At such a close distance, he could only vaguely see Ji Zhiqi's closed eyes and thick eyelashes.

The touch on the lips was warm and soft, with an irresistible force.

This realization made his mind go blank and he stood there in a daze.

Noticing his panic, Ji Zhiqi bit his lower lip slightly as a punishment. The slight stinging sensation instantly brought Song Shiyu back to his senses.

He no longer hesitated, closed his eyes, and began to respond awkwardly but enthusiastically.

He instinctively wanted to take back the initiative and tried to turn over and press Ji Zhiqi against the car, but found that he was still firmly trapped between the car door and his body, unable to move.

This realization made Song Shiyu a little annoyed, but he was also distracted by Ji Zhiqi's deeper kiss.

Under the cover of their coats, the two kissed passionately, their breathing became heavy and rapid, the temperature in the small space rose sharply, and the air was filled with strong ambiguity and emotion.
