The car was traveling at a constant speed. According to Cheng Maixiang's estimation, the car was traveling at about 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. After driving for about half an hour, the car finally stopped.
The car door opened, and the two men in the car helped the unconscious Lin Qingwan out of the car. They wanted to pull Cheng Maixiang, but she glared at them fiercely, and she jumped out of the car with her own feet.
Cheng Maixiang looked around and saw that this place was an endless wasteland with no one living around. There was only a small mud house in the north, standing alone on the wasteland.
Cheng Maixiang immediately understood that this room was prepared by these people for her and Lin Qingwan. Sure enough, two men supported Lin Qingwan, and the other man pushed and shoved, and forcibly brought the two of them into the small earthen house.
The earthen house was divided into two rooms, the inner and outer rooms. She and Lin Qingwan lived in the inner room, while the man in the car lived in the outer room, who also served as a guard for the two of them.
Along the way, the three men kept silent, and Cheng Maixiang was unable to figure out their true identities. When the other two men left, they whispered outside the house, "We only caught his wife this time, but the child escaped. I don't know if he will be scolded."
"We can't help it. The child is in Shuangshui Village. If strangers like us go in, we'll be discovered by the village militia and won't be able to take the child away. Anyway, we've caught one anyway, so we finally have an explanation."
"What about that woman?"

The two men talked as they walked, and soon they walked to the car over there, jumped in and left.
When Cheng Maixiang saw that the car had disappeared, she stood up, jumped to the door, and banged her body against it.
"What's going on?!" the man in the outer room roared impatiently.
Cheng Maixiang was not afraid at all, instead she banged on the door even more fiercely.
With a bang, the door was slammed open by the man. He pointed at Cheng Maixiang and cursed, "What are you doing, you bitch? This is a wasteland. No one will save you even if you make a scene!"
Cheng Maixiang screamed “Ahhh” a few times and pointed at her mouth with her bound hands.
The man was not afraid of her screaming and took out the handkerchief stuffed in her mouth. "What do you want to say?!"
As soon as Cheng Maixiang was free to speak, she angrily said, "Even if you tie us up, you should still give us food and water. Does your master intend to starve me and Sister Qingwan to death?"
The man was startled, turned around and went outside to get two steamed buns, poured a bowl of water, and placed it on the floor in the inner room.
Seeing the man turning to leave, Cheng Maixiang jumped a few times to block him, raising her hands and saying, "Why, does your master want you to feed me and Sister Qingwan yourself?"
The man was furious with Cheng Maixiang, but he seemed to have received strict orders and did not dare to make a move on her. Seeing Cheng Maixiang looking at him with contempt, as if she was sure that he would not let her go, he stepped forward and untied her hands in a few seconds, "Are you satisfied? Is there anything else?"
Cheng Maixiang rubbed her red wrists and muttered softly, "It would have been better to untie them earlier. You have to force others to scream and shout before you understand what to do."
The man found that Cheng Maixiang's words were so infuriating that he simply stopped talking to her and walked out of the room quickly, slamming the door shut.
As soon as Cheng Maixiang's hands were free, she immediately untied the ropes on her feet. Seeing that Lin Qingwan was still lying on the ground, she leaned over to check her breathing, then pinched her philtrum with her thumb.
After a while, Lin Qingwan woke up and saw Cheng Maixiang holding her. She looked confused and it took her a long time to react. Just as she was about to scream, Cheng Maixiang was quick to cover her mouth.
"Sister, we've been kidnapped. There's someone guarding us outside. Don't speak too loudly, or he might hear you."
Cheng Maixiang leaned over and whispered in her ear, making sure no one outside could hear anything. Seeing the growing worry on Lin Qingwan's face, she knew she was worried about Yingying, so she whispered, "I just heard from those two people that Yingying is in Shuangshui Village. They don't have the ability to arrest her, so they can only capture the two of us to get by."
Sure enough, after hearing these words, Lin Qingwan immediately felt a lot more relaxed.
"Don't panic, sis. I'll find a way for us to escape. Don't make any noise. Let's eat first so we have enough energy to escape."
Cheng Maixiang's calm expression made Lin Qingwan, who was already in a panic, feel reassured. She also calmed down a little, picked up the steamed bun on the ground, and started eating it in big mouthfuls.
Night gradually fell, and the earth was shrouded in darkness. The wind blew across the empty land, and the sound of the wind was accompanied by a whistle, sweeping in from all directions.
Cheng Maixiang searched around the house and finally found a wooden stick in the corner. She weighed it in her hand and found it to be just the right weight to knock someone out without hurting them.
Lin Qingwan was originally quite calm, but when she saw the stick in Cheng Maixiang's hand, her legs started to weaken. She couldn't help but ask tremblingly, "Maizi, will someone die?"
"No, sister, I've done farm work in the countryside and I know how much effort you put in will produce the greatest effect."
Cheng Maixiang made up a story. She had learned women's self-defense in her previous life and had some basic knowledge of it. She couldn't explain it, so she could only make up a story to get away with it.
Fortunately, Lin Qingwan didn't understand this. Seeing that her face was as calm as water, she believed her words. So, as they had just agreed, she pretended to be sick, lying on the ground, twitching constantly.
"Sister, what's wrong with you? Sister, don't scare me! Someone come quickly! Help!"
