Extra 3

The flight from Zurich to Rome only takes an hour and a half. Cheng Maixiang bought a flight at 12:30 noon, and arrived in Rome at exactly 2:00 p.m.

The family had already booked a hotel in Rome and did not notify the Qin family to pick them up. They went straight to the hotel after getting off the plane and checked in. It was not yet three o'clock in the afternoon, so they decided to go for a walk.

As soon as you step into the ancient city of Rome, it feels like you have entered another time and space. In this ancient city, there are no longer cars that are everywhere in the new city. There are cobblestone roads everywhere that can only accommodate three people walking side by side. Pedestrians stroll among the ancient buildings that existed thousands of years ago, as if they have accidentally stepped into a time tunnel.

Rome has a typical Mediterranean climate with dry and hot summers. But even in July, the hottest month of the year, the temperature is still around 28 or 29 degrees Celsius, with a cool breeze making people feel quite comfortable.

After walking around for a while, the family felt tired and annoyed by the large number of people coming and going around them, so they subconsciously walked towards a place with fewer people.

In the distance, they saw an open-air cafe nestled in the shadows of a green garden. The family hurried towards it.

I sat down in the cafe and ordered four more iced cappuccinos, which were served quickly.

The four of them sipped their coffee slowly. Lin Yiwei frowned and said, "I really don't know why some people like to drink this stuff. It's so bitter!"

For some reason, this child has hated coffee since he was a child, but he loves tea very much.

Lin Yifei saw what looked like a used bookstore not far from the café. She had always loved collecting old books, so she said to her parents, "Mom and Dad, I want to go take a look."

Cheng Maixiang glanced back and saw that the bookstore had an antique feel. She also liked it very much, so she said to Lin Jiayu, "Let's go take the children to take a look."

Lin Jiayu has always obeyed his young wife since he was young, so naturally he did not object at this time. He stood up and called Lin Yiwei to go with him.

Lin Yiwei was tired and didn't want to move anymore, so he just lay down on the coffee table and pretended to be dead. Lin Jiayu had no choice but to let him sit here first and wait for the three of them to come back before leaving together.

Lin Yiwei was eager to hear his father say that, and nodded like a chick pecking at rice.

After a long time, the three did not come back. Lin Yiwei folded his arms on the table, resting his chin on his arms. Gradually, his eyelids began to twitch uncontrollably, and he slowly fell asleep.

After an unknown amount of time, Lin Yiwei faintly heard a lot of noisy voices. Someone was shouting, "Kid, you owed Brother Hei money, but you didn't know how to hide it. You even dared to come to a place like this in such a brazen way. You must be tired of living!"

"Please, Pi San, talk to Brother Hei and ask him to be flexible and give me a few more days. I'm really short of money lately. I'll pay you back in a few days as soon as I have the money!" A trembling voice begged for mercy.

"In a few days? How many days is that? Brother Hei has been lenient with you several times, and you always have an excuse. Yesterday, Brother Hei said that he doesn't want the money you owe him, and this time, he wants you to pay with your life!"

It’s bad, someone is going to die!

Lin Yiwei immediately woke up and stood up, only to see a bald man holding a shiny big machete and hacking at the person sitting there. Lin Yiwei knew it was too late to rush over to save the person, so he glanced at a stool, kicked it out, and rushed forward.

Lin Yiwei had learned martial arts and was quite skilled. The stool flew out with a whoosh and hit the bald man's knee. The man let out a strange cry, dropped the machete in his hand, and began to rub his knee.

At this moment, Lin Yiwei rushed over, put his left hand on the man's shoulder, twisted his right hand, and tied the man's arms behind his back. With a force of his left arm, he pressed the man onto the table with a "bang" and shouted: "Don't move, be quiet!"

Lin Yiwei turned his head to look at the person sitting next to him, "Sir, are you okay?"

Unexpectedly, the man looked confused and asked stupidly, "Ah, director, why did you change the play?"

Lin Yiwei was stunned. The person she was holding was also screaming: "What are you doing? You should notify me if you want to change the play. Let go! It hurts so much! You are really doing it!"

Director, changing the script? Are you filming?

Lin Yiwei turned around in confusion and saw several cameras and background lights standing nearby, as well as some machines he didn't recognize. A group of people were staring at him stupidly behind the machines. He had been so busy saving people that he hadn't noticed them.

It’s over, I’m in trouble!

He quickly let go, and the person she was pressing on stood up straight, shaking his arms repeatedly, obviously in great pain.

"Cut!" someone yelled, and then a short, fat man rushed over and started cursing without saying a word: "Are you kidding me? Who are you? Your mother, do you even know we're filming?"

Lin Yiwei could understand Hongcheng dialect. He originally felt embarrassed for disturbing the other party's filming, but he didn't expect that the short and fat man would even scold his mother. He immediately became furious and punched the coffee table with a bang. The cup on the table jumped up and fell to the ground, shattering into pieces.

The short and fat man was quite perceptive. Seeing that he was not someone to be trifled with, he could only grumble a few words and then said to the crew, "Do this again."

Lin Yiwei snorted, rushed to the second-hand bookstore, reunited with his family, and continued strolling in the city.

Not long after the family walked, they saw a large pool in front of them. There were several statues in the pool, fountains were splashing, and people around the pool were throwing coins into the water.

"Wow, it's a wishing well. I want to make a wish!"

Lin Yiwei shouted happily, and hurriedly took out a coin from his pocket, held it tightly in his palm, closed his eyes and muttered a few words to himself, suddenly threw the coin back and threw it into the pool.
