When Song Kexia was discharged from the hospital, Qin Muye wrapped her up tightly, and Song Kexia felt like she was just a ball.
She protested, but Qin Muye and Mrs. Liu both thought it was the best way to dress, and no one accepted her opinion.
Fortunately, she was finally able to go home.
As soon as they entered the house, Qin Muye carried her to the room.
Song Kexia's face flushed, "Mrs. Liu saw it all."
"If we see it, we see it. It's not like we can't see it."
Song Kexia pursed her lips. Since she had no strength now, she just let him hold her.
Mrs. Liu brought in the meal, but Song Kexia had no appetite. "I'm not hungry. I don't want to eat."
Qin Muye scooped a spoonful of porridge and handed it to her mouth, "You are still sick, how can you not eat?"
"My mouth is bitter, and even the food tastes bitter."
Song Kexia frowned and looked very uncomfortable.
Qin Muye patiently persuaded her, "Let's just have one bowl, okay?"
Only then did Song Kexia open her mouth and eat.
She was so weak that she fell asleep soon after eating.
Qin Muye stayed by her side the whole time and refused to leave.
When she woke up, it was already the next day. When she opened her eyes, she saw Qin Muye's eyebrows.
Blinking her eyes and looking at him, Qin Muye reached out and touched her forehead, and found that she didn't have a fever.
"Are you feeling unwell somewhere?"
Song Kexia pointed to her temple and said, "It's swollen and uncomfortable here."
Qin Muye massaged her temples and asked, "Is this better?"
"Um."
His massage force was just right, and Song Kexia felt so comfortable that she almost fell asleep.
Later, Qin Muye sent breakfast to her room so that she could eat without leaving the house.
He handed a glass of water to Song Kexia's mouth and said, "Drink some hot water."
Song Kexia shook her head, "No, I've already had some."
"Drink some more, you need to stay hydrated now."
"Then I'll take a sip."
Qin Muye did not compromise at all. "Drink half a cup."
Song Kexia pinched the corner of his clothes and said, "I don't want to drink water now."
Qin Muye looked at her helplessly, "Drinking water is good for you. Be obedient and you will get better soon."
Song Kexia pursed her lips, looking a little unhappy.
But Qin Muye remained unmoved, and she had no choice but to drink half a glass of water from Qin Muye's hand.
Her illness did not get better after drinking the water. In the afternoon, she started coughing, so Mrs. Liu stewed some rock sugar and snow pear for her.
Song Kexia knew she had a cold and didn't want to infect Qin Muye, so she asked him to stay in the next room.
Qin Muye did not agree, but took care of her personally.
After three days, her symptoms were alleviated and she looked much more energetic, but she still spoke with a nasal tone.
It happened to be sunny today, so Qin Muye carried her to the balcony outside to bask in the sun.
The warm sun shines on people, making them feel so comfortable that they want to sleep.
Song Kexia yawned and felt a little sleepy.
Qin Muye asked her, "Do you want to go to sleep for a while?"
Song Kexia shook her head. "No need to sleep anymore. I just got up and I still have things to do."
"You need to rest well now."
"I didn't plan on going out. I just wanted to... talk to you."
Seeing Qin Muye's disapproving look, she tactfully changed the subject.
“I plan to open a store that specializes in selling clothes for pregnant women and children.
There are no stores like this right now, and there are very few maternity clothes on the market. I think if I do this, there will be customers. What do you think?"
Qin Muye thought her idea was good. Apart from anything else, she had experience in pregnancy and was experienced in doing this business.
"Can."
"Do you really think it's okay? Then I'll call my cousin to come over and help."
"Don't worry, wait until you get better."
"I'm much better now."
"It's much better, but not completely healed. Let's talk about it in two days."
There was no other way. At Qin Muye's strong request, Song Kexia had to rest for two more days. Only after she was fully recovered did she send a telegram to Li Hongshuang.
After receiving the telegram, Li Hongshuang called her.
"Xia Xia, why did you suddenly ask me to call you? Did something happen?"
"Nothing happened. How's your reading going?"
Li Hongshuang was speechless for a moment.
Sister Xia Xia is really ruthless. She ran so far away, but I still called her to ask her about reading.
"I...read it."
I only read two pages, so I guess I did read it.
Just because you read fewer pages doesn’t mean it’s not counted.
Song Kexia stopped teasing her and told her her true purpose.
"I'm planning to start a clothing business and was wondering if you'd be interested in helping me out?"
Li Hongshuang thought she had misheard, otherwise how could such a good thing happen to her.
"You...what did you say? Did I hear you correctly? You want me to go over there and do business?"
"Yes, you heard me right. Would you like to come and help me?"
Song Kexia chose Li Hongshuang not only because she was her cousin, but also because she was suitable.
Li Hongshuang has a straightforward and bold personality, and no one can bully her.
She is articulate and enthusiastic, making it easy for people to like her and get along well with her.
She also loves beauty and has a certain aesthetic sense.
All of these items met her requirements perfectly.
Li Hongshuang was overjoyed. "Yes, of course I am."
It couldn't be better.
Originally, she envied Song Kexia for being able to go to a big city, but she never expected that one day she would be able to go to a big city too.
