Qin Muye withdrew his gaze and poured Song Kexia a cup of tea.
Song Kexia looked at him in surprise, and after meeting his gaze, she quickly lowered her eyelids and lowered her head to drink tea.
After a while, everything was ready.
Qin Muye stood up and said, "I'll get it. You sit down."
What he brought over was rice dumplings made with fermented rice wine, the aroma of which was mixed with a hint of ginger and a sweet smell.
Song Kexia picked up the spoon and took a bite. The dumplings were small and chewy, and they made her feel warm in her stomach.
Seeing Qin Muye looking at her, she pursed her lips and said, "It tastes very good."
"If you like, I'll bring you here to eat later."
The aunt at the counter called his number and asked him to get the crab roe bun.
Qin Muye then stood up and brought a basket of steaming buns and a bowl of noodles.
"The crab roe buns here are delicious, eat them while they're hot."
Song Kexia was already full, but when she looked at the plump soup dumplings with skins so thin that the fillings could almost be seen, she wanted to taste them.
"I still have some rice dumplings with fermented rice wine, but I can't eat any more."
Qin Muye glanced at the half bowl of rice dumplings in front of her, pulled the bowl over and started eating.
“Hey, you…”
Qin Muye looked up at her. Song Kexia swallowed the words that were about to come out of her mouth, but her cheeks started to burn.
Qin Muye looked at her blushing cheeks and was in a good mood. "Don't you want to waste food?"
But she never thought of letting him eat her leftovers.
Song Kexia tapped the table with her hand and said nothing.
Qin Muye's mouth curled up slightly, "Today's fermented rice dumplings are especially sweet."
Song Kexia's cheeks turned even redder, and she glared at him shyly and annoyedly.
Qin Muye raised his eyebrows. "Did I say something wrong? Haven't you tried it?"
"Eat something. There's so much food, but it can't stop you from eating."
Compared to Song Kexia's embarrassment, Qin Muye's eyes were smiling, and there was joy in the corners of his eyebrows and eyes.
"The crab roe buns taste good, try them."
Song Kexia smelled the overbearing aroma and swallowed unconsciously. It looked really delicious.
"Then... I'll just eat one."
She just tasted it.
Song Kexia picked up a small soup dumpling and took a bite. It had a strong crab aroma and tasted particularly delicious.
Although the Song family was well-off and could eat crabs, she had never tasted such plump crab roe.
She just took a look and saw that the crab roe bun was the most expensive item in the store.
He has always been willing to spend money.
Song Kexia thought of the things he had bought for her before, and he was willing to spend them.
I just don't know if he treats other girls the same way.
After finishing a crab roe bun, she put down her chopsticks.
Qin Muye glanced at her and saw her take out a handkerchief to wipe her mouth with a very delicate movement.
"Why don't you eat anymore?"
"I'm full."
"No wonder you're so thin when you eat so little."
Song Kexia curled her lips. Although she was thin, she had grown in all the right places.
Qin Muye saw the little girl pouting and knew she was unhappy. He asked, "I just saw you walking around the streets asking people. What are you looking for?"
He had just said that he was not good, and Song Kexia didn't want to answer him.
But then I thought, he knows a lot of people, and he might know where there is a house for rent that can help me.
"I want to rent a house here?"
Qin Muye was a little surprised. Didn’t she live in Muqian Village? Why did she suddenly think of renting a house in the city?
Could it be that the family can't accommodate her?
Thinking of this, his eyes darkened, "Why did you think of renting a house?"
Song Kexia looked to the side and saw that everyone was eating and few people were paying attention to this side.
He lowered his voice and said, "I make and sell buns near the hospital. It's inconvenient to have no place to stay."
Upon hearing this, Qin Muye frowned.
She was going to college in a month, yet she still wanted to start her own business.
Is she so short of money?
"Making buns? Where do you live now?"
"I live in an older sister's house, but she keeps stealing my things and even wants to steal my bun recipe. I think it's better for me to move out.
You have a lot of friends, could you help me find out where there are houses for rent?"
Qin Muye glanced at her. The little girl was very good at manipulating people. When she asked for something, her voice was soft and sweet, and her eyes looked at you longingly, making it impossible to refuse.
"I do know of a house for rent."
After saying this, he stopped.
Seeing that he was deliberately doing bad things, Song Kexia pouted.
The stinky man was just trying to keep her in suspense.
But she had to take the bait, she wanted to find a new place so badly.
"Where?"
He leaned back, crossed his legs, and looked at Song Kexia without saying a word.
Song Kexia reached out and tugged at him, "Go ahead."
Qin Muye glanced at the little hand that was pulling at his clothes, and his eyes slowly moved up to her face.
Song Kexia continued to pull, looking at him with sparkling eyes.
Qin Muye clenched his hands patiently. The way she looked at him made him want to do it to her just like in his dream.
"I'll take you there in a moment."
Song Kexia was overjoyed. Did his words mean that he had a close relationship with the landlord?
Who knows, maybe he will be able to speak for me by then.
"Then eat faster."
Qin Muye glanced at her and started eating in silence.
He ate quickly, but not rudely.
Song Kexia saw him finish a bowl of noodles with just a few chopsticks and a crab roe bun in two bites, and she couldn't help swallowing her saliva.
