Gu Yanbai rushed out the door and went straight to the old house.
But the old house was tightly shut.
So, he went up the mountain with ease and quickly found Grandpa Gu.
What brings you here?
Grandpa Gu leaned against a big tree, with a radio beside him.
He listened to a little tune while watching the sheep on the mountain, his hands rhythmically patting his thighs in time with the music.
They looked incredibly relaxed!
"I've come because I have good news to tell you."
"What good news? Tell me." The old man was so engrossed in the story that he didn't want to turn off the radio.
"I've come to tell you that you're going to be... a great-grandfather!" Gu Yanbai said quickly.
"Whose great-grandfather?"
"You're looking for your great-grandfather? He's buried on that hillside over there. Just go find him!"
The old man is getting on in years and his hearing is already a bit impaired. With the radio playing, he misheard for a moment.
Gu Yanbai slammed the radio off, then loudly repeated it again.
“I said, you… are going to… be… a great-grandfather.”
The old man was initially a little unhappy, but upon hearing this, all the wrinkles on his face came together, making his eyes almost slits.
"Oh, you mean your wife is pregnant?"
"Yes!"
"You brat, why don't you explain yourself clearly? Why are you bringing up great-grandfather?" Old Master Gu wanted to spin around a few times to express his excitement.
"My kid calls you great-grandfather, doesn't he?" Gu Yanbai rolled his eyes at him, finding it unbearable to look at.
