"Go ahead and curse if you have the guts. Every time you curse, I'll beat you up!"
He glanced at her with a half-smile, a roguish grin spreading across his face.
The meaning in his eyes was obvious, and Su Nianxue instantly understood what he meant.
That scoundrel, all he does is threaten her with this.
Enraged, she kicked him in the shin, but not too hard. "Go wash up now."
"If you don't go now, I'm closing down!"
Hearing him say that, Gu Yanbai didn't even bother to grab his clothes and simply plopped down on the edge of the bed.
"Go ahead and shut it down, I didn't want to wash anyway!"
He was saying that he was about to fall onto the bed.
Su Nianxue was dumbfounded. When it came to being a rogue, how could she be a match for him?
She bit her lip, hurried to the bedside, grabbed his hands, and pulled him out.
"Go wash up, I won't close the door, I'll wait for you."
With her tiny, kitten-like strength, how could she possibly move such a big guy like him?
However, Gu Yanbai still stood up, which was quite considerate of him.
"Fine, then you lie in bed and wait patiently for me to come back."
These words sounded strange no matter how you looked at them, and Su Nianxue couldn't help but retort to him again.
But after thinking about it, I held back. If I angered him, he would refuse to take a bath again.
He's a real scoundrel.
"Go wash up, or it'll be too late!"
Seeing her so obedient was a rare treat for Gu Yanbai, who was in a great mood. He cupped her face in his hands and quickly pecked her lips.
"Okay, you wait."
I promise I'll make myself smell delicious and look incredibly fair and tender after the hot pot!
"You stink! Aren't you going to take a shower?" Su Nianxue couldn't take it anymore and kicked him in the butt.
"Kick it, kick it! You'll be washing it tomorrow anyway."
Gu Yanbai hummed a little tune and walked straight out without pausing for a moment, carrying the clothes.
"Dream on, wash it yourself." Su Nianxue shouted at his back.
Soon, the sound of rushing water came from the backyard.
A short while later, he returned, his body radiating cold air.
Su Nianxue...
"Why so fast?" Weren't we supposed to rinse it until it was spotless?
"I'm a man, do you think I'm going to be like you women, dawdling around and taking forever to wash?"
He picked up a dry cloth and scratched his head vigorously a few times.
Seeing that her hair was no longer dripping wet, she threw the handkerchief in her hand away.
In no time at all, he stripped himself down to just his underwear.
Su Nianxue's forehead veins were throbbing as she watched. "Wait a minute."
"What's wrong now? So many problems all day long!" He complained, but he didn't get into bed; he just sat on the edge of the bed.
Su Nianxue got off the bed, picked up a dry towel again, and carefully dried the water from his head before saying,
"From now on, I'll wait until my hair is dry before going to sleep, otherwise I'll have headaches when I get old."
It turned out she was helping him dry his hair.
Gu Yanbai readily agreed, "Then you'll help me wipe it from now on!"
"Don't you have hands?"
Besides, what if you're not home anymore?
"Are you going to go without washing your hair forever?" Su Nianxue rolled her eyes. This person just knew how to boss her around.
Gu Yan rolled his eyes. "At worst, I'll just tie you to my belt and take you everywhere I go."
"Just to serve you?"
Do you think you're some kind of wealthy landlord who needs someone to wait on him?
With a sudden pull, she tightened her grip, making his scalp tingle.
"Go easy, or you'll pull my hair out bald."
Why are you so petty?
What I said wasn't wrong, was it?
"I'm your man. If you don't serve me, who else do you want to serve?" His large hand climbed up her slender waist and casually groped around it a few times.
It caused a series of tingling sensations and a slight itch throughout her body. She shifted uncomfortably, but remained stubborn.
Why should I be the one serving you?
"Can't you just serve me? That's ridiculous!"
Is your hair dry?
"That's enough." Before she could even take the wet cloth out of her hand, she was suddenly flipped over and pressed down on the blanket.
"I'll serve you right now, okay?" He stared intently at her, his voice tinged with tenderness and huskiness.
"Wait a minute, I still have a towel!"
He snatched the wet towel from her hand and threw it onto the cabinet.
"Leave it for now, I'll tidy it up later."
Soon, one piece of clothing after another flew out of the mosquito net and scattered all over the ground.

I don't know how much time passed, but I know that the moon had climbed to the very center of the house before the noise inside gradually stopped.
Afterwards, Su Nianxue lay weakly on the man's chest, too exhausted to even move.
"What do you want to say to me tonight?" Gu Yanbai asked softly, stroking her soft hair.
"Really? I forgot!"
Her mind was a complete blank. She seemed to remember something like that, but she couldn't recall exactly what it was.
Are you tired?
Su Nianxue nodded; she was really tired.
He reached out his large hands and pinched her waist for a while before asking,
"Do you remember now?"
"Hmm, I remember now. I actually just wanted to ask what you were doing in the county?"
It was during a time when Gu Yanliu brought it up, and she felt that it made some sense.
She's Gu Yanbai's wife, so it seems... only right that she cares about his actions.
