Not a single hair was visible.
Gu Yanbai chuckled. "How old are you? You're still acting like a child."
He gently pulled back a corner of the blanket, saying, "You're wrapped up so tightly, aren't you afraid of getting heat rash?"
Hearing his voice, Su Nianxue twisted in bed and shrank further under the covers, wrapping herself up even tighter.
"Actually, I'm leasing out the land for your own good."
Think about it, I'm rarely home throughout the year, so naturally I can't help you much.
Grandpa has such a large flock of sheep to raise, so he doesn't have time to help you.
Moreover, he is old and can no longer do heavy work.
"You two women alone would be exhausted!"
