Chapter 28 Wu Lanchu
"Gone?" The Three Fairies raised her head and glanced at Lin Zhixian.
"Okay, let's go." Lin Zhixian said.
"You are kind-hearted." San Xiangu rolled her eyes at her. "But don't forget, you are a fortune teller, not a savior. You take money to do things, and after the work is done, it has nothing to do with you. It's not good for you to meddle in other people's affairs."
"How can I be called a savior? It's just a simple act." Lin Zhixian said with a smile, "Even if it wasn't Cen Xueqi, I would have done the same thing if it was any other woman or child. You too, mom, please be careful when you take a taxi at night."
"I understand." Sanxiangu responded unhappily, but she felt much more relieved in her heart.
She was worried that Lin Zhixian was young and hot-tempered and didn't care about his own safety.
The next day, when Lin Zhixian came out to open the shop after breakfast, he heard everyone talking about the murder case.
"What murder case?" Lin Zhixian approached curiously: "Where did the murder happen?"
"It's in the park." Aunt Zhen is well-informed and said, "I heard that a citizen who went to the park for a run suddenly smelled a stench of a corpse. He ran over and saw that it was a corpse, so he quickly reported it to the police. Ah Qi was called back to the police station early in the morning, and I guess he is investigating the case at the scene where the body was dumped."
"Do you know whether the dead person is a man or a woman?" Lin Zhixian asked.
"I heard it was a boy." said Aunt Zhen.
"Do you know the identity of the deceased?" Lin Zhixian asked again.
"Then we don't know. After all, this is a police matter." Aunt Zhen said, "If the police don't announce it, how can we know?"
"I don't know what happened to that pretty girl last night." Aunt Zhao asked Lin Zhixian, "I saw that pretty girl leave your place at around nine o'clock last night. How was she? Did she receive a call for help from her best friend before she left?"
"I got it." Lin Zhixian said.
"She really got the call?" Aunt Zhao was immediately excited: "Then what did she say? Did she still go to save people?"
"You probably won't go to save people, right?" Lin Zhixian asked.
"That's right. You know the other party has bad intentions, but you still bump into them. Isn't that courting death?" Aunt Zhao said, "But her sister is really not a good person. That beautiful girl was so good to her, but she actually repaid her kindness with hatred. She is really an ungrateful person."
"What's going on? Did you tell fortunes for someone again last night?" Aunt Zhen asked curiously.
All the shops were busy at the time, so it was impossible for them to go to the coffee shop to see the excitement. In the morning, everyone's attention was attracted by the murder case, so no one talked about this matter. Everyone only knew about it at this time.
"Sister Zhao, from what you said just now, what's the story behind the beautiful girl who asked Ah Xian to tell her fortune last night?" Aunt Zhen asked interestedly.
Aunt Zhao said mysteriously, "That's right. I guarantee you won't be able to guess it!"
"Tell me what's going on quickly and stop playing secretive here," Aunt Zhen urged.
Aunt Zhao satisfied her vanity and excitedly talked about Lin Zhixian’s fortune-telling for Cen Xueqi last night: “That pretty girl…”
Seeing that everyone was listening with great interest, Lin Zhixian shook her head and left quietly, lest the aunties and grandmas get too excited and pull her aside to ask questions.
"Hello, is this the Sanxiangu fortune-telling shop?" a housewife walked in with a newspaper and asked.
Lin Zhixian turned around and smiled: "Yes. How can I help you?"
The aunt looked embarrassed: "I, I want to find a beautiful fortune teller to tell my fortune."
"I'm the fortune teller you're looking for, Lin Zhixian." Lin Zhixian smiled and led the lady to sit down: "500 yuan per fortune teller, I can tell you about marriage and future, I wonder what you want to tell me?"
“500 per fortune telling? That’s so expensive?” the aunt exclaimed.
Lin Zhixian smiled and said, "500 yuan is not that expensive, and I can calculate it accurately."
"You are still so young, how can you really predict accurately?" the aunt wondered.
This is all normal, and Lin Zhixian was not angry: "If you don't agree, I won't take your money."
Auntie was still hesitant.
Lin Zhixian did not urge him: "Then you take your time to think about it, and then decide when you have thought it through."
Lin Zhixian poured a glass of water for the nanny, and then went to prepare the things needed for opening the store every day.
The nanny held the water cup and couldn't help looking at Lin Zhixian: "Can't it be cheaper?"
"No." Lin Zhixian smiled and said, "But if you want to get a cheaper price, that's fine. My mom will be here later and she can help you calculate it."
"Is your mother cheaper than you?" The nanny was stunned.
Lin Zhixian smiled and said, "Although my mother charges a low fee, she is my teacher and has real skills. She is the most compassionate and cannot bear to see people suffering."
Lin Zhixian played the Three Fairies as if they were the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara who saves people from suffering.
The aunt was so excited that she said, "Then, I'll wait for your mom to come?"
"Okay. Please wait a moment. My mother will be here in a while." Lin Zhixian said with a smile.
"Hello, is this the Sanxiangu fortune-telling shop? We are looking for the beautiful fortune-teller Lin Zhixian."
Two beautiful girls walked in hand in hand.
"Hello, pretty girl." Lin Zhixian came over and said, "I am the Lin Zhixian you are looking for. How can I help you?"
The two pretty girls were dressed fashionably and the bags they carried were also branded. They seemed to be economical and would not think that the 500 yuan divination fee was too expensive.
The two beauties looked at Lin Zhixian and asked, "How old are you, pretty girl? Are you 20 years old? Are you really a beauty fortune teller?"
Lin Zhixian smiled and said, "Whether it is true or not, won't we know the truth after a calculation?"
"That's true. Then tell me my fortune." A pretty girl with dyed brown curly hair said with a smile.
"Please take a seat." Lin Zhixian led them to the table and sat down: "I charge 500 yuan for each divination. Do you have any objections, pretty ladies?"
The red-haired beauty really didn’t care at all, just as Lin Zhixian thought: “No problem. But if your calculation is wrong, I won’t give you any money.”
"No problem." Lin Zhixian said with a smile.
The auntie beside her pricked up her ears, wanting to see if Lin Zhixian was really that accurate.
Lin Zhixian took out his notebook and pen and sat opposite the pretty girl: "I wonder what the pretty girl wants to do?"
The beautiful girl with brown hair smiled and said, "I want to calculate my marriage fate."
"Okay." Lin Zhixian nodded, and then followed the procedure to check the brown-haired girl's face, bone structure, and finally her palm.
After the calculation, Lin Zhixian understood everything in her mind. She withdrew her hand, crossed her fingers and placed them on the table, with a calm expression and full of confidence.
"The beautiful girl's surname is Wu and her given name is Lanchu. She has a boyfriend named Chen Jinghao. They have been together for ten years since Form 5 and are still unmarried." Lin Zhixian said with a smile.
Wu Lanchu was shocked when she heard this: "You can actually calculate my boyfriend and I's names, and how long we've been together! You're truly a fortune teller."
The nanny was also surprised, and without thinking, she said unconsciously: "Pretty girls, did Miss Lin really figure out your names?"
