Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Sang Nian had seriously underestimated the shamelessness of the Sang family. He thought Sang Wenhua wanted him to come home to persuade him to get married and have children, but he didn't expect that Sang Wenhua didn't care whether he liked men or not, and directly stated her attitude to him.

“I asked Sang Ke, and she said that although your female organs are smaller than those of an average woman, they are fully developed, so having children shouldn’t be a problem.”

“Since you like men, Grandpa will arrange blind dates for you. I’ve already found a match for you. If there are no problems on your end, after Ningning gets engaged, I will announce your identity to the public and then arrange your marriage.”

"After we get married, your first son must take the Sang family name. I will take him to the Sang family to raise him, and then you will be free."

Sang Nian had no room for rebuttal. He felt a chill run through his body as he listened to Sang Wenhua's cold words.

This was to make the most of his androgynous body! He gritted his teeth, determined not to show any more emotion in front of Sang Wenhua.

He knew that the more he resisted, the more ruthless Sang Wenhua and Sang Yu would become. He had personally witnessed the cruelty of this family when he was in the United States.

He thought he would be fine once he left the Sang family after going abroad, but he didn't expect that his passport would be confiscated as soon as he got off the plane, and then he was locked up.

For three months, he was deprived of sunlight, eating, drinking, and relieving himself in a room of less than five square meters. He was only given one meal a day, which consisted of hard, unhealthy bread that was neither nutritious nor palatable. Tao Wanru only said that she was going to lock him up, without giving any other instructions. As a result, her subordinates became perfunctory, and in the last few days before his release, he didn't even have a decent piece of bread.

Later, Tao Wanru came to the United States in person. When she saw him half-dead, she simply covered her mouth and nose in disgust, had someone take him to take a bath and change him into clean clothes, and then brought him back to her. Without a trace of the concern a mother should show when seeing her own son, Tao Wanru's voice was icy, and she went straight to the point.

She wanted Sang Nian to study in Country M under the identity of Sang Ning and obtain a degree. She said that as long as Sang Nian agreed, she would no longer interfere with him, and he could do whatever he wanted.

How ridiculous!

Sang Nian was already numb, but he was still stunned by Tao Wanru's casual remark, which made him both laugh and cry. So he laughed, a hoarse laugh that he mustered all his strength.

Tao Wanru just looked at him with disgust and smiled without saying a word, until Sang Nian was almost out of breath, at which point she threw her expensive handbag at him.

Have you laughed enough?

The metal parts on the handbag grazed the corner of Sang Nian's eye, leaving a bloody mark. Sang Nian stopped laughing and looked up coldly at her biological mother sitting opposite her.

Tao Wanru was undoubtedly a beauty. She wore expensive clothes and exquisite makeup, sat upright, and exuded a graceful and elegant temperament in every gesture.

This seemingly perfect person in the eyes of outsiders is Sang Ning's mother, and also his mother.

Yet her attitude towards her two sons was so drastically different. Sang Nian had hated his deformed body, but now he hated Tao Wanru and Sang Yu even more for bringing him into this world but failing in their parental responsibilities.

He agreed.

Because he is currently powerless to resist Tao Wanru.

In this unfamiliar country where he spoke a different language, even the slightest act of resistance could bring him utter destruction. He spent three years completing his studies as Sang Ning, and on the night he handed his graduation certificate to Tao Wanru, he left the city.

In another city, he resumed his studies in architectural design under the identity of Sang Nian.

This was Sang Yu's reward for his obedience. However, Tao Wanru was very dissatisfied. In her own words, Sang Nian was no longer of any use, and they didn't need to care about his life or death.

But now, he seems to have found a purpose again. Producing a heir that the Sang family approves of seems to be his final mission in life.

When Sang Nian was led out of Sang Wenhua's ward by Sang Yu, he only asked one question.

Aren't you afraid that the child I give birth to won't be healthy either?

Sang Wenhua sneered, "Then keep having babies until we're satisfied." Sang Nian's heart skipped a beat, and he gained a new understanding of the Sang family's cold-bloodedness. After that, he was locked up in the Sang family, just like five years ago. Apart from his own room, he was not allowed to leave without permission.

On New Year's Day, he met the blind date arranged for him by the Sang family.

At that moment, he was looking at the nine-grid picture posted by Sang Ning in his WeChat Moments, clicking on each picture, zooming in, and then exiting, repeating this process until Wen Yan's heartfelt smile became indelible in his mind. Only then did he give a bitter smile and place his phone face down on the table.

The next second, he noticed a person standing in front of him. He looked up, but couldn't see the person's face or expression because of the backlight, only that the person was very tall.

The man sat down and introduced himself.

"Hello, my name is Liu Wenyuan."

Liu Wenyuan?

Sang Nian was a little confused. When he got out of the car, Sang Yu had told him not to offend his blind date, Liu Jinyuan.

Seemingly sensing his confusion, Liu Wenyuan smiled awkwardly, "I came in place of my brother. He has an urgent matter and can't make it in time, and he doesn't have your contact information. Luckily, I happen to be around here, so..."

Sang Nian waved her hand, indicating that she didn't mind. The two then chatted casually, with Liu Wenyuan doing most of the talking and Sang Nian only occasionally responding. When Liu Wenyuan mentioned university life in China, Sang Nian's eyes lit up for a moment.

If none of these things had happened, he would have gone to university in China like Liu Wenyuan, graduated, found a job, and earned money to treat Qiu Yang's illness...

Thinking of Qiu Yang, Sang Nian felt a pang of bitterness in his heart.

Liu Jingyuan never showed up, and Sang Nian rejected Liu Wenyuan's suggestion, returning to the Sang family home hungry.

Before leaving, they exchanged contact information.

Today is the first time Sang Nian has met Liu Jinyuan.

To be honest, he had a good impression of Liu Wenyuan. He seemed like a sunny and shy young man, so subconsciously he thought Liu Jingyuan wouldn't be too bad either.

Until today, when he arrived at this bar called "Mountains and Seas." Liu Jingyuan was already blocking the entrance with his cronies, smoking, when he saw Sang Nian get out of the car, his eyes lit up instantly. He whistled as he approached Sang Nian, and before Sang Nian could react, he put his arm around his shoulder and whispered flirtatiously in his ear, "My brother said you're very handsome, and seeing you today, it's true." He even blew a breath into his ear as he spoke.

Sang Nian felt a chill run down his spine. He frowned deeply, and the next second he heard Liu Jingyuan say to his group of friends, "Quick, call her 'sister-in-law'." So Sang Nian was called "sister-in-law" in front of everyone. His face instantly darkened, and he subtly struggled to break free from Liu Jingyuan's control.

Liu Jingyuan didn't mind, and instead pulled him into the bar by the hand. Liu Jingyuan's palm was hot and sticky, and Sang Nian was no match for him, so he could only let him lead him. After sitting down, before he could even get comfortable, he was forced to drink several glasses of alcohol. He kept making excuses, saying that he couldn't drink, but Liu Jingyuan just smiled and didn't care, joining the others in urging him to drink.

A group of people sat around Sang Nian, surrounding him so tightly that he felt like he couldn't breathe. Finally, Liu Jingyuan made a move. He made a "shh" gesture, and the booth instantly quieted down. Then he took the drink from Sang Nian, glanced at him, and joked, "If you don't drink it yourself, then I'll have to feed you."

As he spoke, he made a gesture as if to drink the wine in Sang Nian's glass. The method of feeding him the wine was obvious. Sang Nian suppressed the feeling of nausea in his stomach, grabbed the glass, and drank it all in one gulp amidst the applause of the crowd.

This glass of wine was stronger than the previous ones. As soon as it went down his throat, Sang Nian choked violently from the spiciness, his face instantly turning bright red. Seeing that he had drunk it, Liu Jingyuan didn't make things difficult for him anymore. He simply moved closer to him and then reached out to pull him into his arms.

Sang Nian broke free, and Liu Jingyuan's expression instantly changed. He whispered in Sang Nian's ear, "We're going to get married, you can't escape." After saying that, he buried his head in Sang Nian's shoulder and took a deep breath, "You smell so good!" His tone was somewhat intoxicated.

Looking into Liu Jingyuan's eyes, filled with a frenzied desire, a chill ran down his spine, and he was instantly terrified, trembling uncontrollably.

Liu Jinyuan is probably a psychopath.

Unable to contain his nausea any longer, he hurriedly covered his mouth and stood up, wanting to go to the bathroom to vomit. Liu Jingyuan frowned when he saw him, then casually lay down on the sofa, and instantly two young men sat down beside him, leaning on his shoulders.

Liu Jingyuan pressed one person's head down and kissed him shamelessly. While kissing him, he kept his eyes open, staring at Sang Nian. The desire in his eyes was like that of a ravenous beast seeing its most tempting prey, wanting nothing more than to devour him alive.

Sang Nian took off running. Stumbling, he entered the bathroom and locked himself in a stall. He vomited for a long time, clinging to the toilet, until his stomach was empty, before collapsing against the wall in despair.

Trembling, he opened his phone and searched for Liu Jingyuan's name, but the results were the same as those he had searched a few days ago. The descriptions of Liu Jingyuan were full of praise, and he couldn't see any problems with them.

He kept scrolling on his phone, unwilling to give up. His brain, already clouded by alcohol, gradually became unclear, and he no longer had the strength to even see the screen clearly.

The phrases were all positive: "youngest entrepreneur," "one of the top ten outstanding representatives of Shanghai's finances," and so on. Sang Nian finally gave up the search, placing his hands on his knees and letting them hang down, leaning his head against the wall, feeling utterly hopeless.

He never doubted his intuition. Liu Jingyuan gave him the feeling of a venomous snake, his narrow eyes filled with malice, making people feel extremely afraid at first glance.

Perhaps he had stayed in the bathroom for too long, because Liu Jingyuan couldn't wait for him and sent someone to look for him. Sang Nian, despite feeling unwell, pushed open the door and went out.

He couldn't hide in the toilet forever. Even if he wanted to, the Sang family wouldn't let him have his way, especially now that Liu Jinyuan was involved.

Meeting Liu Jingyuan's gloomy gaze, Sang Nian couldn't help but shiver. He couldn't escape!

As soon as Sang Nian sat down, Liu Jingyuan released the two men beside him and patted the seat next to him, indicating that Sang Nian should sit down.

Liu Jingyuan's friends also started whistling, their expressions as lewd and obscene as could be.

Sang Nian didn't move, his hands clenched into fists and hanging down at his sides.

Liu Jingyuan slapped the table a few more times, the sound of which made Sang Nian's heart pound violently.

Seeing that he still didn't move, Liu Jingyuan narrowed his eyes and a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. Those who knew him well knew he was angry, and they all fell silent, ceasing their jeering.

Wen Yan noticed the atmosphere in the booth becoming increasingly strange, and seeing Liu Jingyuan's face, which was both bright and dim, making it difficult to discern his expression, he suddenly became worried. Just as he was about to leave, Xu Muze, who had been waiting anxiously for him to return to the private room, called out to him.

"What are you doing here?" Xu Muze craned his neck to look in the direction Wen Yan had been looking, and his eyes widened instantly.

"Holy crap?! That's Sang Ning? Wait, Sang Ning is in the hospital right now, so it's Sang Nian? Wow, seeing is believing, and photos are even better than reality. Look at his appearance and build... wait, the one opposite him is... is..."

"It's Liu Jingyuan." Wen Yan said this and then turned and went downstairs. Xu Muze was still processing those four words when he saw Wen Yan leave, so he followed closely behind.

"Ayan, where are you going again?"

Wen Yan ignored him and went downstairs straight to Sang Nian's booth. He couldn't explain why, but he felt that Sang Nian desperately needed help right now. Knowing Liu Jingyuan's character, Wen Yan couldn't leave Sang Nian alone there.

Before he could get close, he heard a cracking sound coming from the booth. Looking up, he saw only Sang Nian's swaying back.

Almost immediately, he quickened his pace.
