Chapter 9 White Rabbit Milk Candy

The original owner worked in a medium-sized supermarket, which was divided into morning and evening shifts. The original owner was usually in charge of the night shift. Because of her good looks, she was deeply loved by the female boss of the supermarket. As long as the original owner asked for leave, she would agree. However, the original owner had always been very hardworking and actually did not ask for leave very often.

Gao Han came to the supermarket and was given a cold look by a man as soon as he entered. He was the manager of the supermarket and was responsible for managing all matters big and small in the supermarket, including the employees, who were also dispatched by him. There was only one person he couldn't say anything, and that was the original owner.

Because of the female boss's preference for the original owner, his job has always been the easiest, with short working hours, but he gets the highest salary. No wonder others are jealous.

"Isn't this our Gaohan? I haven't seen anyone for a few days, and I don't even need to ask for leave. Why do I have to come to work?"

The male manager has a weird tone, but people around him are used to it. Good-looking people always make people more patient and tolerant. Although Gao Han was favored by his boss at work before, he is very hardworking. So except for the male manager, other employees like Gao Han very much.

An employee came up to Gao Han and whispered, "Xiao Gao, don't worry about it. The manager was recently reprimanded by the boss and is feeling upset. You are not the first person he has reprimanded."

Gao Han turned his head to look at the girl who told him the news. The girl was in charge of the cashier counter. Her name was Zhang Zishan. When he lowered his head, her face turned red for some reason.

"I'm going to work." Zhang Zishan said and ran away blushing.

Gao Han was confused. Wasn't he at work now? He also wanted to ask the other party where the boss was. He actually came here today to resign.

"Hey, I'm talking to you." Seeing that he was ignoring her, the male manager, who was already furious, walked up to her to argue with her.

"Where is the boss?" Gao Han asked.

The male manager paused and said sarcastically, "Why, do you want to complain to the boss? Don't try to confuse the boss just because you are good-looking. People like you..."

Gao Han turned around and went to ask other employees. An old employee told him that the boss was out for the past two days for supermarket matters and would not be back until tomorrow. His resignation was not settled for the time being. He looked at the people who were busy. The supermarket was having a special sale recently, and the customer flow was several times more than usual. It was not easy for him, a grown man, to just stand there and do nothing, so he had to roll up his sleeves and get to work.

The male manager couldn't find a reason to mock him and the supermarket was busy, so he decided to put the matter aside for the time being and come back to it later.

Tiantian Supermarket's discounts this time are lower than ever before, and many old customers have come to the supermarket. The supermarket shelves have to be restocked almost every one or two hours.

Gao Han was very strong and he filled up several nearby rows of shelves in less than half an hour. The male manager, who wanted to take the opportunity to scold him, didn't even have the chance to do so.

“Are there any White Rabbits?”

A deep voice suddenly sounded beside Gao Han's ears. Gao Han turned around abruptly and bumped into a handsome face. The man was wearing black clothes and black pants, and a black baseball cap. He was very cool and handsome. The light behind him seemed to have become his own light effect. His handsome and extraordinary beauty was attractive to both men and women, young and old.

Gao Han took a quick look and found that there were definitely no less than ten men and women nearby who were peeking at him. Some of them even pushed their carts towards him on purpose. They appeared to be shopping, but were actually stealing glances at the men.

Of course, he didn't know that he was also one of the targets of others' sneak attacks.

"This is a supermarket, they don't sell White Rabbit." Gao Han took two steps back and kept some distance from him.

The man laughed and looked at him curiously, "I'm talking about White Rabbit Milk Candy, do you have it?"

Gao Han's ears turned red, and then he said calmly: "I'll look for it."

The man stared at his ears as if he had discovered some new continent, following him like a shadow, until Gao Han walked to the next shelf, and then his burning gaze disappeared.

Gao Han secretly breathed a sigh of relief. To be honest, this man's gaze made him feel like he was seen through. As a person who once did underground work, he did not like being seen through.

Suddenly, he noticed that burning gaze falling behind him again. When he looked up, he saw the man standing at the other end of the shelf, looking at him through the gap as wide as a palm, with a pair of dark eyes.

Gao Han was silent for a moment, then calmly put the bag of candy back, blocking the other person's sight.

The man came over and asked him again: "Do you have any?"

"No more," Gao Han searched the original owner's memory, "The White Rabbit candy was sold out a month ago, and the manufacturer has stopped production. I don't think it will be available in the future. This candy is not bad either, it's just one word different. Why don't you try this one, it should taste similar."

The man glanced at the Little White Rabbit Toffees in his hand, smiled and shook his head: "No, I only want the White Rabbit Toffees, other candies are useless and can't be suppressed."

Gao Han looked at him with a strange look. Low blood...pressure?

The man sighed, "I have to look for it again."

Gao Han thought he was leaving when he heard him say that, but he stood in front of him after he finished speaking, his eyes sliding across his overly handsome face, "Anything else?"

The man smiled again. For some reason, Gao Han always felt that his smile was a little strange. Before he had time to think about it, the other party said something that made his heart sink, "Are you a spirit refiner?"

Gao Han suddenly raised his head, staring at him with his deep blue eyes. Realizing that the man didn't seem to be joking, he whispered, "How do you know?" He was clearly wearing a magical weapon that could conceal his breath.

"I smelled it," the man said.

Gao Han moved his lips, but didn't say the words "Are you a dog?" He told himself that although the other party didn't buy anything, he was also a customer. "So what do you want to do?"

The man suddenly grabbed his hand and shook it, and said sincerely: "Add your contact information. If you see White Rabbit Milk Candy someday, remember to tell me."

Gao Han reacted and found that his hand had been grabbed by the other party. His pupils shrank slightly. Not only could this person approach him silently, but now he didn't even notice the other party's movements. He didn't pull out his hand, "You..."

The man had quickly let go of his hand and walked away.

There was a piece of paper in Gao Han's hand, which was the contact number he left behind. He held the paper tightly and passed by the trash can, ready to throw it away. At this moment, the other person's face flashed through his mind involuntarily. What a weird person.
