Chapter 141 Call Me Husband
Su Ruan's heart pounded like a drum, shame and excitement strangling her nerves.
"Teacher Yan, isn't it a bit unethical to instigate your son to eavesdrop?"
She bit his chin, panting.
"Let him hear it with his own ears; that's what you call destroying his spirit."
"Knowing is not enough; he needs to experience firsthand what it means to be completely out of the game."
Yan Tingnan chuckled softly, kissed her earlobe, his voice deep and hoarse.
He gripped her waist tightly with his palm, deliberately forcing her to let out a whimper.
Su Ruan took a light breath.
When this man gets ruthless, he can be completely heartless, even to his own family.
There was a sudden moment of silence outside the door.
Then came even more frantic banging on the door.
"Who's in there?! Who the hell are you?!"
Yan Tingnan chuckled softly and kissed her sweaty temples.
“Tell him who I am.”
Su Ruan's fingers, which were gripping his shoulder, tightened.
She suddenly bit his palm, panting and making a sound as he released her grip in pain.
"You bastard! Be gentle!"
Yan Tingnan chuckled softly and kissed her sweaty temples.
"Well said."
Her legs were so weak she couldn't stand, and she relied entirely on his arm to support her waist.
"You've said everything."
"Yan Tingnan".
She gasped, her eyes red-rimmed.
"You are Yan Tingnan..."
"wrong."
He was clearly dissatisfied with her answer.
Su Ruan suddenly tilted her head back, but he covered her mouth and swallowed her gasp.
“Say it again.”
"Who am I to you?"
She bit her lip, then suddenly tilted her head back and whispered in his ear, her voice soft and trembling, yet each word clear.
"husband……"
Yan Tingnan's Adam's apple bobbed violently, and his eyes instantly burned with a dark intensity.
As if he had finally heard the most satisfactory answer, he kissed the corner of her mouth as a reward.
"I didn't hear it."
"Speak louder, baby."
Su Ruan bit her lip, tears rolling down her cheeks, but he wiped them away with a finger.
"Sweetie, why are you crying?"
Yan Tingnan lowered his head and kissed her eyelids.
"Say it to him."
Su Ruan was pushed to her limit, her rationality crumbling inch by inch, and she raised her voice with a sob in her voice.
"Honey, be gentle!"
The area outside the door suddenly became quiet.
The next second, Yan Yunye's almost manic questioning came buzzing through the door.
"Su Ruan! Open the door!"
"Who are you with? Tell him to come out here!"
Yan Tingnan's gaze darkened, and he suddenly flipped her over, pressing his chest against her back, and leaving a burning kiss on the back of her neck.
"Say it again."
Su Ruan gripped the door panel tightly with her fingertips.
"Honey, the door is still ringing..."
Yan Tingnan's eyes suddenly darkened.
"Let him hear it."
"husband."
"husband……"
Su Ruan cried out one after another, as if she had been driven to the brink of despair yet was willing to succumb.
Outside the door, Yan Yunye was struck dumb.
That voice was so alluring and captivating, it was a passionate emotion he had never heard before.
Yan Tingnan was pleased by her repeated calls of "husband".
He freed one hand to reach the telephone in the entryway and pressed the property management's shortcut button.
"Someone is disturbing the peace."
His voice was so steady that there wasn't a trace of anything amiss.
"Please clear the area."
The call has ended.
Su Ruan could no longer suppress her voice.
Outside the door, Yan Yunye stood frozen in place.
His breathing suddenly became heavy.
He heard it.
She heard the door vibrating rhythmically, and she heard Su Ruan's suppressed sobs and the repeated calls of "husband."
Every detail was slowly torturing his last shred of sanity.
Six years.
He had the title and the time, but he never truly possessed her.
Now she's being pinned behind the door, calling him "husband" softly and seductively, but not for him.
He didn't even know who his opponent was, and he had already lost completely.
Yan Yunye's face turned deathly pale, and he staggered back a step.
The bouquet fell to the ground, petals scattered everywhere.
It turns out that what Song Shengsheng said was true.
She really has someone else.
It was not Shen Yu, nor any of the opponents he envisioned.
It was a man he didn't even know existed, who, in a height he couldn't reach and in a darkness he couldn't touch, possessed the star he had lost.
For six years, he had never heard her call him that.
Even at the height of their affection, she would only blush and call him Yunye.
I used to dislike stickiness, but now I crave it.
Yan Yunye's heart was throbbing with pain, and he almost suffocated.
He thought that awakening to the plot and seeing the truth was already the ultimate pain.
Little did he know that hearing her pleasing others was hell on his own.
He suddenly remembered the days when he was forced to ignore her, and the way she looked with red eyes but forced a smile.
He recalled how he pushed her away time and time again, yet he would cautiously approach her each time.
It turns out that the heart can really ache to the point of numbness.
He leaned against the wall, his stomach churning.
retribution.
It's all retribution.
So this is where retribution was waiting.
Just then, hurried footsteps came from the elevator entrance, followed by the cautious voice of the property security guard.
"Sir, please leave immediately, or we will take coercive measures."
Yan Yunye did not move.
He stared at the door as if trying to pierce a hole through it.
He only jerked his hand away and staggered backward when the security guard put his hand on his shoulder.
He turned around, stumbled into the elevator, his back view a picture of utter devastation.
It was completely quiet outside the door.
Su Ruan slumped in Yan Tingnan's arms, her back pressed tightly against his chest, her heart pounding so hard it made her eardrums buzz.
She was panting, her fingers digging into his arm that was wrapped around her waist.
"Yan Tingnan".
"Aren't you afraid he'll recognize your voice?"
Yan Tingnan lowered his head, his nose brushing against her sweaty nape, and chuckled softly.
"What's there to be afraid of?"
He tightened his arms around her and pulled her into his embrace.
"Once we get the marriage certificate tomorrow, we won't have to hide it anymore."
He paused, then bit her earlobe, his voice deep and husky.
“You can tell him openly and honestly that you are now his stepmother.”
Su Ruan felt a chill run down her spine and laughed as she scolded him.
"Yan Tingnan, you are truly despicable..."
Before he could finish speaking, Yan Tingnan lifted Su Ruan's sweat-drenched back and carried her away from the door panel.
"Your husband is also immoral."
In a dizzying moment, she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Yan Tingnan!"
"Um."
He calmly carried her and strode towards the bedroom.
"I didn't get enough fun just now."
"Finish it now."
Su Ruan bounced as he tossed her onto the soft mattress.
He knelt down on one knee, loosened his tie, and his eyes darkened.
"You called out quite nicely just now."
"Say it a few more times?"
The gold-rimmed glasses were gone at some point, and the usual cold and aloof demeanor in his eyes was replaced by a possessiveness.
Su Ruan raised her foot and lightly kicked his side.
"Trying to push your luck?"
He held her ankle and rubbed her ankle bone with his fingertips.
"We've gained an inch, but haven't made any progress yet."
He leaned down and pressed down on me, his breath hot.
"Baby, help your husband measure how much is appropriate."
Su Ruan's breath hitched.
"Yan Tingnan, you really are crazy in a frank way, and you burn in a sophisticated way."
Yan Tingnan raised an eyebrow slightly.
"You've had enough of putting on an act outside, do you have to keep putting on an act at home?"
"tired."
Su Ruan gave a soft hum and turned her face away from his ticklish breath.
"So you go home and your skin peels off? You turn into a beast?"
Yan Tingnan bit open the zipper on her back and kissed her spine.
"Yes, now they're licensed beasts."
Su Ruan rolled over to hide, but he pulled her back and held her in his arms.
Why are you running?
"Weren't you being pretty wild just now? You almost scratched a hole through the door panel."
She glared at him, her eyes sparkling with allure.
"Who forced him to do that?"
He chuckled softly.
"Did I force you?"
"Then let's push it one more time."
The kiss landed, swallowing up all protests.
The moonlight outside the window was dim, while the sound of dampness rose inside.
Like the tide washing over the beach, silent yet thorough.
