Chapter 11 Your uncle is sick, don't bother with him

After dinner, Song Lianqing took medicine again under Lu Xiangwan's urging. Xiao Tangguo and Ran Feng went to another building to feed Dahuang's family and Daju, and then returned to the house.

There is still one week left before the live broadcast of the variety show "Raising Cubs". Song Lianqing needs to get familiar with Little Tangguo as quickly as possible during this week, so he has to do many things concerning Little Tangguo himself.

For example, feeding little candy; giving little candy a bath; dressing little candy; telling little candy a bedtime story; sleeping with little candy, etc.

"Lian Qing, let Little Candy live with you for this week. I've bought a lot of food for you in the refrigerator, so you don't have to go out to buy it. Little Candy's toys, clothes, and other things have all been bought, and there are instructions on them. If you have any questions, just call me and Ran Feng, got it?"

Lu Xiangwan looked at Song Lianqing, who looked unhappy, and without caring how bad his face looked, she continued to talk about a lot of precautions before stopping.

"Oh, I see."

Song Lianqing nodded perfunctorily. Lu Xiangwan sighed, looked up at the little kid who was fiddling with Ran Feng in the kitchen, patted him on the shoulder, and said earnestly, "Your situation is very special. If you feel uncomfortable, call us immediately."

Song Lianqing's eyes darkened, and he pursed his lips without saying anything. Lu Xiangwan sighed again, then turned and walked into the kitchen, smiling and calling out, "Little darling, what are you and Uncle Ran Feng doing in the kitchen?"

When the little girl heard the sound, she retracted the firing button, turned around to look at Lu Xiangwan with sparkling eyes, and called her in a baby voice, "Sister Wanwan~ Little Candy is studying~"

"Learning?" Lu Xiangwan walked up to Ran Feng, reached out and rubbed Little Tangguo's head, looked at the obviously stunned Ran Feng, and asked in confusion, "What are you teaching him? He looks so scared."

Song Lianqing walked to the kitchen door, folded his arms and looked at the little kid standing on the step rack, his brows softened unconsciously.

"Sister Wan, little Candy is so smart. I only taught him once how to open all the kitchen utensils, and he already knew how to open them all." Ran Feng finally recovered from his shock, with a look of surprise and pride on his face. "This little guy is so smart at only four years old. He will definitely be a rare talent when he grows up!"

Thinking about his four-year-old nephew who knew nothing but wasting his time on toys and sand and in toy malls, he felt that Little Candy was simply a little angel. In an instant, Ran Feng became more determined to adopt Little Candy.

"Hey! Really?"

Lu Xiangwan was also somewhat surprised and bent over to look at Little Candy. Little Candy blushed and nodded shyly, saying, "Little Candy is not as powerful as Susu said."

Little Candy paused and made a small circle in the air with her white and soft little hands, "Little Candy is only this good! Hehehehe..."

Lu Xiangwan and Ran Feng laughed out loud at little Tangguo's cute appearance. Little Tangguo also laughed unconsciously, not knowing whether she understood what the adults were laughing at.

"It's almost half past ten. Stop playing and come take a shower. You two can leave if you want to, or stay if you want to. I won't see you off."

Song Lianqing was listening to the laughter in the kitchen by the door, and suddenly he felt like an unnecessary outsider. He was inexplicably unhappy and his tone became fierce again. He left some fierce words and turned into the bathroom. After a while, the sound of running water could be heard from the bathroom.

Little Candy doesn’t understand the twists and turns of the adult world. He only knows how to accept the emotions given by adults. Likes and dislikes are very obvious to him.

When little Candy heard Song Lianqing's roar, her little brows unconsciously frowned, and the light in her cute big eyes dimmed.

Lu Xiangwan sensed that Little Tangguo was unhappy, so she squatted down and picked him up. Little Tangguo unconsciously hugged her neck. When Lu Xiangwan hugged him, he always thought of his mother. His mother always liked to hug him and tell him interesting stories, but he would never hear them again.

"Don't blame your uncle, little Tangguo," Lu Xiangwan rubbed his little head and spoke to him gently, "Uncle is sick and sometimes loses his temper easily. There is a little monster living in his body. When the monster is unhappy, it will hit him. When he feels pain, he will lose his temper. Please don't be angry with him, okay?"

Lu Xiangwan's words made Little Candy raise her head. There was a little surprise, fear and worry in her big eyes. Her voice got lower and lower, with a hint of crying in it. "Will Susu become a little star, too?"

"No, no," Ran Feng felt that Little Candy was about to cry, and panicked instantly, "He just has a minor illness, he will get better after taking medicine for a few more days, he won't turn into a little star, dear baby, don't cry, don't cry."

"Little Candy is a man, he won't cry!"

Little Candy's fear was relieved, but her eyes were red and her little mouth was pouting, which made people feel pitiful.

"You're so great, little darling!" Lu Xiangwan pinched Little Tangguo's cheek and changed the subject, "It's getting late now, Little Tangguo needs to take a bath and go to bed."

"Okay~"

Little Tangguo rubbed his eyes and nodded, then he got down from Lu Xiangwan's arms and ran into the bathroom with his short legs. He slipped while running, which scared Ran Feng so much that he moved his feet out in a protective posture. Fortunately, he only slipped and stood firm. Ran Feng breathed a sigh of relief.

In the bathroom, Song Lianqing was squatting in front of the bathtub, making bubbles. He was a big man of about 1.80 meters tall, but instead of holding a wine glass in his slender hands, he held children's shower gel. After squeezing the shower gel, he dipped the water and made bubbles frantically. When the bathtub was full of bubbles, he grabbed the heads of two little yellow ducks and threw them into the water.

The creaking sound of Little Candy pushing the door open made Song Lianqing turn around. A small curly-haired head with little silly hair on top poked in from outside the door. The owner of the small head was holding the door with two small hands and looking at him with a pair of cute and innocent big eyes. He didn't know if it was his illusion, but he actually saw a hint of sympathy in those innocent big eyes.

Song Lianqing: I was pitied by a four-year-old child?!

"Come and take a shower."

Song Lianqing felt that he must be terminally ill. He actually thought that a child could have such emotions. He discarded the thoughts in his mind and said in a cold tone.

Little Candy replied softly, "OK", then went into the bathroom, closed the door politely, and then walked towards Song Lianqing with his short legs. His eyes never left Song Lianqing's cheek. He looked innocent, and no one knew what was going on in his little head.
