Standing at the entrance was a man dressed in a light blue robe with a light veil over it, clearly from a wealthy family. Beside him was a girl, the one who had just tripped and fallen at the market.
“Brother, my name is Yuwen Leng, and this is my sister Yuwen Ling. My sister and I came here to see the Lantern Festival but were unable to book a room in advance. We wonder if we could borrow your room so we could watch the lantern parade together? Don’t worry, we will cover half the cost of the room.”
Ma Rencai glanced back at Li Wenyi, and seeing him nod slightly, he opened the door and let them in: "It is fate that we meet, there is no need to be so polite, please have a seat."
Once everyone was seated, Ye Shuang calmly turned her back to them, as if she hadn't heard anyone come in.
However, Li Wenyi didn't care. Not everyone could receive his courtesy, especially someone like this who approached him with an ulterior motive: "How many days have you two been here? There are many fun places in the county. It would be a pity to miss out on this opportunity to come all this way."
Yuwen sneered and said, "We've been here for three or four days now, and we've basically explored all the other interesting places. I've heard that the newly appointed magistrate here is dedicated to serving the people and has many effective methods. The people here are truly blessed."

Yuwen Leng glanced at Yuwen Ling, chuckled, and said, "Thank you for your concern, young master. My sister is good in every way, except that she can be a bit eccentric at times. I heard she even caused a bit of a laughing stock? I'm so sorry to have troubled you two brothers."
