Lin Zhou was using a laser pointer to analyze the key points of the midterm exam for his students on the large screen when he caught a glimpse of a figure flashing through the gap in the curtains out of the corner of his eye. He paused, stepped down from the podium, and opened the classroom door.
Just then, Qin Sheng, who was about to knock on the door, came face to face with him.
Lin Zhou smiled at her, and two dimples immediately appeared on his round, baby-faced face: "Qin Sheng is here. Go and sit down quickly, let's continue the lesson."
Qin Sheng paused for a moment, then nodded: "Thank you, teacher."
Lin Zhou's smile widened as he made way for Qin Sheng to enter, then closed the classroom door again.

As he was speaking, a voice suddenly interrupted him: "Teacher, I have something to say."
Lin Zhou paused, then looked toward the source of the sound.
She was a girl, and Lin Zhou remembered her; her name was Ning Yutong.
She's a very active girl, always raising her hand to answer questions, and Lin Zhou has a good impression of her.
He didn't mind the girl interrupting him, and just asked with a smile, "Is there a problem, Ning?"
Ning Yutong first glanced quickly in Qin Yanshu's direction, and after receiving a response, she immediately straightened her chest.
She immediately pointed in one direction and said, "Teacher Lin, Qin Sheng is late."
Lin Zhou frowned: "So?"
Ning Yutong straightened her chest even more: "Our class rule is that anyone who is late for class either has to stand outside as punishment until the end of the class, or go to the podium to do exercises or recite texts."
"Qin Sheng is late, so we need to choose a punishment."
Lin Zhou frowned even more, and opened his mouth to explain, but the girl's clear, cold voice rang out first.
Qin Sheng looked up: "You want me to recite the text?"
Skipping over the punishment of standing, they went straight to Ning Yutong's purpose.
