Chapter 476 Evidence

A number of people were standing not far from the door.

Led by Qin Sheng, Qin Zhihuai, Director Mu, and the producer, almost everyone in the crew who had influence or whose name was known had come over, and they were all looking at the two of them with disbelief.

Jiang Ruoyu felt a tightness in her chest; she had a gut feeling that something was wrong.

But he didn't show it on his face. Instead, he smiled slightly and said, "You've made it through. My injury is fine."

Qin Sheng stared at her intently and said calmly, "Whether the injury is serious or not doesn't matter, but if there's something wrong with your mind, that's a big problem."

"Jiang Ruoyu," Qin Sheng said, a cold glint in her eyes, her voice also turning icy, "are you out of your mind?"

Jiang Ruoyu suddenly raised her eyes, her expression turning grim: "Qin Sheng, do you know what you're saying?!"

"As expected, his brain isn't working very well; he can't even understand human speech anymore," Qin Zhihuai said lazily.

"you!"

Jiang Ruoyu felt her anger rising, and she could no longer control her emotions.

But just as she was about to say something, Li Ying reached out and tugged at her sleeve, her voice trembling slightly, and said, "Sister Ruoyu, it's Jiang Ming."

Jiang Ruoyu felt a chill and immediately followed Li Ying's gaze, only to notice that in the back of the crowd, a rather short and thin man was being held by one arm on each side and left behind.

When he met her gaze, the man's expression changed slightly, and he hurriedly looked away.

Jiang Ruoyu's gaze darkened, and the source of her unease finally became clear.

Jiang Ming betrayed him.

Jiang Ming was a stagehand in the film crew. He wasn't particularly noticeable, but almost everyone in the crew knew him.

Because he was specifically there to run errands, relay messages, and assign tasks.

If Director Mu or the producer had something to say, they would tell him, and then he would inform the people below.

Today, he relayed the message to the photographer to set up camera equipment on the second floor of the three-story restaurant.

There's actually no problem with that.

To achieve the desired filming effect, the production team does indeed set up camera equipment in several locations on set, allowing for shooting from multiple angles to facilitate scene transitions.

Director Mu did indeed tell Jiang Ming to have the cameraman set up in that area.

The problem was that Jiang Ming arrived a few minutes earlier than the time Mu Dao had instructed, and he also personally designated the location for setting up the equipment.

Everything is just right.

He could argue that the time was only a few minutes earlier, that he finished assigning other tasks and then contacted the photographer ahead of time; he could also argue that the location for setting up the equipment was just something he thought was suitable and that it was just a coincidence.

He can offer whatever explanation he wants, but whether Qin Sheng and the others listen or believe it is their business.

Qin Sheng learned Jiang Ming's name from the photographer. After learning it, Director Mu and Qin Zhihuai found someone to interrogate him carefully, but Qin Sheng didn't ask him any questions at all.

Why go through all that trouble?

It was obvious that there were problematic people and things, and that she wouldn't get any information out of them, so she didn't bother.

She directly had Mo Huang send over her Tianyu device and used the most violent and direct means to hack into Jiang Ming's mobile phone, searching through his social media apps and recordings.

Couldn't find it?

It doesn't matter.

Qin Sheng identified several junk apps on Jiang Ming's phone that he had authorized to record audio, extracted the audio they had recorded recently, and put them into her own filtering program. She immediately extracted several conversations based on keywords.

With the recording placed in front of him, Jiang Ming had no choice but to accept it.

He had no choice but to confess everything in detail, including handing over the evidence he had prepared for self-defense.

They only hoped to lessen the punishment.

After all, this is, in a serious sense, an attempted murder. Although he wasn't the mastermind, the charge of being an accomplice is enough to put him in jail for several years.

He didn't want to go to jail.

Therefore, what he handed over was not only the evidence from this time, but also the evidence from the last time at Tiandu Gymnasium, where he calculated the timing and force to make the beam light fall, almost hitting Qin Sheng.

That's right, it was Jiang Ruoyu who was the mastermind, and Jiang Ming was the one who did it.

The two are still long-time business partners.

Jiang Ruoyu looked at the series of evidence laid out in front of her, the evidence was irrefutable, and she had no room for explanation or sophistry.

She just stared at Jiang Ming in disbelief: "Are you crazy?!"

She was the mastermind, but he was also an accomplice. Did he think that by handing over the evidence, he could get rid of his crime?

That's intentional homicide!

Not to mention the two separate times.

Jiang Ming gave a wry smile.

How could he not know how terrible these things were? If there had been any room for maneuver, why would he have exposed his own shortcomings?

But even if he doesn't hand over those pieces of evidence, the recordings Qin Sheng produced are enough to prove their crimes.

He merely added fuel to the fire, solidifying the charges against him.

not to mention……

"He was an accomplice. If he surrenders himself and actively reports others, his sentence may be reduced accordingly," Qin Sheng said calmly.

Jiang Ruoyu stared at Qin Sheng for a few seconds before finally realizing what was happening.

Qin Sheng only wanted to get rid of her; she didn't care about Jiang Ming, his accomplice.

At least they don't care whether he lives or dies.

But Qin Sheng wanted to kill her!

Jiang Ruoyu's heart trembled, but she managed to remain calm.

Her gaze swept over everyone in the room, finally landing on Qin Sheng and Qin Zhihuai. She gestured with her chin towards them and pointed to the door of the lounge behind her, saying, "Want to talk privately?"

"There's nothing to talk about."

Fu Jingheng appeared on set at some point, and immediately grabbed Qin Sheng, looking her up and down to make sure she was alright, before turning his attention to Jiang Ruoyu.

His sparse eyebrows and eyes, chilled by ice and snow, sneered, "Do you think your Jiang family has hundreds of billions or trillions to give you as compensation?"

"How much do you think your nominal elder brother would pay to protect you?"

Fu Jingheng raised his hand, took out a booklet from his pocket, and tossed it in front of Jiang Ruoyu: "Read it yourself, Miss Tang."

Jiang Ruoyu's pupils trembled violently as she almost took the booklet that Li Ying had picked up from the ground from her hand.

It is a household registration certificate.

There is only one name on it: Tang Yu.

That was her real name before she was adopted by the Jiang family.

There was also a folded A4-sized sheet of paper tucked inside the booklet. Without even looking at it, Jiang Ruoyu already guessed what it was.

But she still slowly opened it.

The words "Certificate of Termination of Adoption" immediately catch the eye.

Jiang Ruoyu's pupils trembled violently, and she could no longer control herself as she collapsed to the ground.

"No...no..." she murmured unconsciously.

At one point, she suddenly sat up from the ground and rushed out of the film set like a madwoman.

She wants to go back!

She's going back to her brother and get to the bottom of this!
