Chapter 482 Three Things

The girl's already furrowed brows furrowed even more.

She glanced at Qin Sheng from head to toe, her voice slightly indifferent: "So you're Qin Sheng."

He paused, then continued, "But no matter who you are, this is not a place you can enter."

She pointed towards the door and said calmly, "Please leave."

Qin Sheng looked at her quietly: "In what capacity do you invite me out?"

"This is not a place I can enter. Then, who allowed you to come in?"

The girl frowned: "This has nothing to do with you, and it's none of your business."

However, at this point, the girl's expression turned even colder: "Since these are your things, that means you were the one who came in earlier, so you were the one who closed the window and the door?"

Just then, Qin Sheng also wanted to ask, "You opened the window, and you left without closing the door, right?"

The girl found it ridiculous that the girl who not only didn't leave but also started questioning her was the one who came.

What? These days, do daughters of powerful and influential families really think they're above everyone else? Do they really believe they can have the final say in everything?

The girl was too lazy to argue with her anymore. She took out her phone and made a call, saying in a cold voice, "Hello, is this security? Someone has trespassed into Professor Song's private laboratory and is messing with the equipment. Please come and take them out."

"Yes, thank you for your help."

The girl hung up the phone and looked at Qin Sheng again.

With a cold smile, he said, "Security will be here in three minutes at most. You have two choices: either apologize, admit your mistake, and leave immediately, or stay here and wait for security to come and kick you out."

"You choose."

Qin Sheng wouldn't choose.

At this moment, she didn't even bother to pick up the sorghum seeds. After glancing at the girl, she pulled out a chair from under an experimental table and sat down.

He sat with his legs crossed on the lab bench, one hand on the armrest of the chair, and the other hand slowly tapping the screen of his phone.

Unconventional and carefree, yet revealing an arrogance and coldness etched into their very bones.

The girl's face grew even colder.

He gave a soft hum and then looked away, pulling out a chair from under another lab bench and sitting down.

Yet his back didn't even touch the chair back; his body was ramrod straight, his posture so upright it was as if he had been measured with a ruler.

The laboratory fell silent.

Three minutes later, a series of hurried footsteps were heard coming in.

But it wasn't just one person's footsteps. Qin Sheng looked up and saw the two people standing at the door. Her already cold eyes became even colder.

The girl on the other side had already gotten up before Qin Sheng and walked over unhurriedly. She stopped in front of one of the boys and smiled, "Ah Chu, you've come."

Jin Chu frowned: "What happened? Why did you call security?"

Zuo Qionghua's smile faded, and she casually pointed to a spot in the laboratory, saying indifferently, "Someone trespassed into the laboratory. I asked her to leave, but she refused. I had no choice but to call security to remove her."

"Who... dares to be so bold?"

Jin Chu frowned, instinctively wanting to speak, but when she saw the girl's face, which had already stood up, her expression froze, and the words she was about to say stopped.

He stared at Qin Sheng for a few seconds and asked, "What are you doing here?"

As I was talking, it suddenly occurred to me.

He first turned to look at Zuo Qionghua beside him, then glanced at the direction of the window at the back of the laboratory, vaguely guessing what was going on, and said, "You just went out through this window?"

Jin Chu pointed to one of the windows.

Qin Sheng didn't answer immediately, but instead thought about it carefully.

Then I remembered.

Song Yi seemed to have asked her to help mentor his disciples?

If she remembered correctly, this Jin Chu was a biology student?

Then there's no problem.

Considering that she had helped feed him the medicine earlier and that the other person was her roommate's brother, Qin Sheng didn't immediately take action.

Instead, he held up three fingers and said, "Three things."

"First, when I first came here, the lab door was open, but no one was inside."

"Secondly, the window was open when I came in."

"Third, in the five minutes I was gone, the sorghum seed I left here was thrown into the trash can by the people you brought here."

Qin Sheng looked up at Jin Chu: "I'll give you two minutes to sort this out yourself."

Jin Chu was stunned.

It took him a full ten seconds to come to his senses.

His gaze swept around the window, the trash can, and the doorway, then glanced at Qin Sheng before finally settling on Zuo Qionghua.

His face was extremely grim. He said, "I thought I had said it more than once: you can come here to study, but don't touch anything in the lab."

Zuo Qionghua sensed something was wrong and said with a slightly stiff face, "I didn't move, what's wrong?"

Jin Chu frowned deeply, suppressing her anger, and walked to one of the devices, pressing the start button.

After confirming the process, I breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Thankfully, it's not broken.

He then looked at Zuo Qionghua again and said, "Where's the access card? Give it to me."

Zuo Qionghua bit her lip, took out a card from her pocket and handed it over, but before Jin Chu could take it, she took it back.

Unable to contain himself, he raised his voice: "Jin Chu, what do you mean?!"

She pointed at Qin Sheng: "She trespassed into the lab, and kept moving things around inside. Even after being caught, she refused to leave. Not only did you not kick her out, but you also gave me a hard time. What do you mean by this?!"

Jin Chu's face turned ashen.

"I don't know what he means, but what I mean is, please leave my lab immediately!"

Before Jin Chu could speak, an angry voice rang out from the direction of the door, and Song Yi strode in.

He first nodded to Qin Sheng, then turned to face Zuo Qionghua directly, his voice as somber as his expression.

"All the equipment in this lab was purchased and set up in my personal name. It's my private lab. Who gave you permission to tamper with it?!"

Zuo Qionghua had been talking to Jin Chu for almost three months. Because of Jin Chu, she had also met Song Yi a few times. Although they weren't particularly close, they were still quite polite. This was the first time she had heard him speak so harshly and sternly.

She paused, then took a step back and protested, "I didn't touch it..."

She didn't move?

Song Yi laughed angrily: "If you didn't touch who opened the window, if you didn't touch who opened the door, if you didn't touch what someone threw away?"

Jin Chugang has already operated the equipment and there are no problems, so Song Yi can temporarily let it go.

But the sorghum that Qin Sheng brought...

His face was cold and stern as he pointed towards the trash can and said, "Who gave you permission to throw that pot of sorghum?"

Zuo Qionghua's unease grew stronger.

She couldn't help but look at Qin Sheng.
