Chapter 204 Satisfaction

Wei Ci and Gu Zhan's wedding was low-key yet grand. No outsiders were invited, but all the elders and relatives of both families were present.

After completing the familiar process, even though Wei Ci was strong, he was still very tired.

“Hurry, hurry, hurry!”

On their wedding night, the couple, who should have been making love and in perfect harmony, sat cross-legged on the wedding bed, with a thick pile of red envelopes scattered on the bed in front of them.

"Wife, the money I give you is a thousand times more than this..."

Gu Zhan sat on the ground with his legs spread out, helping her sort out the red envelopes one by one. He smiled at her money-grubbing look, while secretly trying to get some benefits for himself.

“You don’t understand!”

Wei Ci happily picked up a red envelope and opened it. When she saw what was inside, she was shocked.

"Oh my God! Which rich person gave this to me?"

The title deed to a famous garden house at the foot of the imperial city seems to have been the residence of a first-rank official of the previous dynasty, right?

Gu Zhan came over to take a look, picked up the red envelope and looked at the name on the back, then smiled knowingly: "It should be a gift from my uncle. His ancestors were wealthy and had many houses. This one is probably one of the best ones."

Wei Ci smacked her lips. No wonder her elder brother once felt inferior because he couldn't give his elder sister-in-law happiness and was unwilling to take that step. It turned out that he was really a wealthy man.

As the red envelopes were opened one by one and the items were taken out one by one, Wei Ci's exclamations never stopped.

Gu Zhan's eyes were gentle and doting as he stared at his wife intently, his eyes gradually becoming fiery.

"This was given by Dad, this was given by my eldest brother and his wife, this was given by my second brother, this was given by my aunt, this is..."

The land deeds, passbooks, and a thick stack of Great Unity banknotes made Wei Ci dizzy.

"What kind of wealthy family did I marry into?"

When Wei Ci opened the passbook given by her father-in-law, she saw a six-digit number. The string of zeros made her eyes sparkle. After all, who would complain about having too much money?

Gu Zhan couldn't stand it any longer, so he swept the pile of red envelopes that were in the way to the ground and knocked the man down.

Lowering his head, covering his mouth, twisting and rubbing, the sound of water made Wei Ci blush. Her small hands unconsciously hugged his thin waist and touched his dress buttons.

Well, it feels as good as always.

"Hmm~"

Not knowing where he touched, Gu Zhan groaned, his exhaled breath became hotter, his eyes faintly red, and he pinched Wei Ci's slender waist even harder, and veins on the back of his hand bulged.

"Hmm~red envelopes..." Wei Ci was still thinking about those red envelopes.

Gu Zhan's thin lips lingered on Wei Ci's white swan neck, and his low laughter penetrated into Wei Ci's ears. It was low and sexy, making half of her body numb.

"Wife, today is our wedding night. Are you sure you want to open the red envelopes all night? Hmm?"

He lowered his body slightly suggestively, and his eyes glowed green, with a greedy look as if he wanted to devour the person.

He had waited from a young man in his prime until he was thirty, and he had been holding it in for so long that he almost became a Buddha. Now he finally married the girl of his dreams, and if he could hold it in for one more second, he would lose.

Wei Ci's peach blossom eyes are as bright as stars, her eyelashes flutter, and her eyes are as charming and alluring as rippling water.

The slender little hand grasped his dishonest big hand, and the red lips rubbed his chin and ear, making Gu Zhan's muscles tense and his anger ready to explode. Only then did the dimples bloom into a dazzling smile.

Thirty-six-degree red lips uttered words at minus thirty degrees:

"Um... sorry, I'm having my period and I'm not feeling well..."

With a crack, Gu Zhan seemed to be struck by lightning. He froze there, the veins on his forehead ached slightly, and the hidden blood vessels on his neck bulged.

"...You did it on purpose!" His voice was full of gnashing teeth, like a big lion that couldn't get any meat. He growled in grievance, with tears in his eyes.

Wei Ci laughed out loud, startling the people squatting at the door and eavesdropping.

"This...why are you laughing like this on your wedding night? Isn't it supposed to be a scene of pure romance?"

"Yeah, I heard Boss Wei's bed creaking a lot when he was in the corner."

As soon as he finished speaking, a chill rose from the back of his head, and the man who spoke rolled over and avoided a big foot kicking from behind.

Wei Qingshan smiled amiably, his fingers crackling as he spoke each word with gritted teeth.

"Tell me, does it sound good?"

The people who were eavesdropping in the corner smiled awkwardly and tapped their toes on the ground in embarrassment.

Help! What if someone overhears me gossiping? Especially if that person is my boss!

The answer, of course, is…

"The wind is strong! Hurry!"

Everyone howled and immediately scattered like birds and beasts, running faster than each other.

"Oh, the monk may run away, but the temple cannot. Just wait for me!"

"Don't you care?"

Qiao Mu looked at Wei Qingfeng, who was standing silently in the shadows, and asked with his head tilted.

"What do you care?"

Glancing at the woman who had been following him, Wei Qingfeng's expression remained unchanged and his tone was indifferent.

"Those who are making trouble in the bridal chamber, today is your sister's wedding night."

"No need. Those people know their limits and won't make things too bad. Besides, with that guy Gu Zhan around, there's no need for me to protect her."

Qiao Mu quietly stood closer to him, smelled the pleasant cool fragrance on his body, and squinted his eyes comfortably.

"Honestly, have you thought about it carefully? Do you want to be with me?"

How come this man is like a piece of ice that can't be warmed up? He is so doting and gentle to his own sister, but once he treats outsiders, he is indifferent to them, and his indifference is very disrespectful.

"No, I haven't considered it."

"Why?"

Wei Qingfeng took one last look in the direction of the new house and turned to leave.
