Chapter 640 Extra: Coke

Walk back and walk back.

Jiang Ning waved at it and turned to leave.

She missed Coke and felt really sad. The dog that kept pestering her to eat her steaming legs would never come back.

I lay on the steering wheel, unable to let go for a long time.

After calming down, Jiang Ning drove away.

Halfway through the drive, I saw in the rearview mirror a shadow running wildly behind me.

The running shadow was too familiar, she had seen it countless times in her life.

Jiang Ning stepped on the brakes subconsciously. It was Coke!

However, it is steamed buns.

I don't know whether it came back voluntarily or because of its father's teachings, but it came back.

This time he didn't hesitate and ran towards the wind.

The encounter in two lifetimes and the feelings that were shared between them have long been a kinship engraved in our bones and blood, and cannot be forgotten just by saying so.

Even though a year has passed, Jiang Ning really can't forget it.

The car door opened and a shadow pounced on him.

Jiang Ning hugged it tightly. This was the gift that Coke left for her.

Mantou is back.

Just like Coke, it loves to stick to Jiang Ning, even though he later found a wife and had cubs of his own.

But wherever Jiang Ning went, Mantou was always by his side.

Jiang Ning also dotes on it and secretly touches its steaming legs.

The four children grew up gradually. When they were young, they were naughty and ignorant. They always liked to pull Mantou's ears or tail. The fourth child even liked to lie on him.

Not only is Mantou not angry, he also plays with his little masters very patiently.

One day two years later, when Jiang Ning went up the mountain, he found fresh wolf footprints beside the tomb again.

Bai Xue came back with the wolf pack and stood on the other side of the mountain, facing Jiang Ning from afar.

The wolf pack had grown to more than a dozen, and their momentum was extremely terrifying, but they never came close.

Since then, Jiang Ning never saw Bai Xue again.

It wasn't until many years later that she found the rotting body beside the grave.

The corpse had been rotting for several months and its face was no longer recognizable, but judging from the white hair, it was not difficult to guess that it was Snow White.

It's back.

Jiang Ning added a grave nearby so he was no longer alone.

All the nearby mountains and forests belong to her, and this area has been designated as her ancestral tomb. When she passes away one day, she will be buried in this mountain, quietly watching the sunrise and sunset.

(End of extra chapter)

The author has something to say:

This extra chapter took me two days to write. I cried many times during the period of writing and stopping, which made the author depressed.

I had a dog when I was a child, a Chinese native dog. I also gave it the name. The little guy was really psychic.

Writing about dogs in the novel really feels like I have a dog of my own and have it accompany me throughout its life. I cried while writing and couldn’t control my emotions at all. I felt less painful than when I wrote about the male and female protagonists. It was really too uncomfortable.

I actually thought of this ending during the Spring Festival. I felt sad every time I thought about it. I kept struggling over whether or not to write it. Finally, I decided to write it. The price I paid was that I was in a bad mood for two days, and it was very difficult to get over it.

Finally finished writing, took a deep breath and adjusted myself.
