However, ten cars were neatly parked in a relatively high location.
These cars come in all shapes and sizes: off-road vehicles, SUVs, supercars... and they all look brand new.
Qian Zhong explained to Mu Qingyu, "These are the cars and gasoline that Jia Wenkai ordered us to collect in the early days."
He pointed to rows of plastic buckets stacked in a nearby garage. The buckets, of various sizes, filled almost half the garage.
“Jia Wenkai always picks the newest and best cars, and two of them were even stolen from others. He has people take care of his cars every day.” Qian Zhong is very familiar with this place.
He belongs to the lowest level of Jia Wenkai's forces in terms of combat power. Those men on the tenth floor who are not allowed to wear clothes are the "slave" class.
Jia Wenkai never sent "slaves" to take care of his carriage; he always sent people like Qian Zhong. Therefore, Qian Zhong was very familiar with the place and the carriage.
"The gasoline was collected bit by bit from other abandoned cars. Some were from cars that were originally in the parking lot, and some were from outside," Qian Zhong continued to explain.
These "combat personnel," who are the weakest in terms of fighting ability, often go out to do odd jobs like setting traps, digging holes, and moving soil. They rarely participate in actual combat.
Mu Qingyu nodded, disregarding Qian Zhong's presence, and with a wave of her hand, only two of the ten cars remained: an off-road vehicle and an SUV.
He waved his hand at the gasoline, and the gasoline in the small garage was reduced to ten small cans.
Qian Zhong stared in shock, his mouth agape, his breath catching in his throat, his face turning bright red—what was this? What was this?!
This old lady isn't a female Asura! She's a female demon, someone who knows demonic magic!
Mu Qingyu saw Qian Zhong's eyes almost pop out of their sockets, but ignoring his shock, she simply instructed him, "Give the rest to Xiao Shiyang."
"He's a good person. You should follow him from now on, turn over a new leaf, and be a good person." Qian Zhong wasn't the kind of person who was beyond redemption, so Mu Qingyu gave him that extra advice.
"Grandma, can't you take me with you?" Hearing that Mu Qingyu meant she was leaving now, Qian Zhong quickly suppressed his surprise and asked cautiously.
"I'm very obedient, I can do any dirty or hard work, I have a sweet tongue and I can flatter people, and I can cook and do housework. Grandma, do you really not need any servants?" Qian Zhong volunteered.
Mu Qingyu was amused by him: "I don't lack anything. I have hands and feet, why would I need a servant?"
Qian Zhong was clearly very disappointed, but in the end he didn't dare to say anything more.
After leaving a message for Qian Zhong, Mu Qingyu waved and left.
It's only one or two in the afternoon, so maybe she still has time to scavenge other places. She can't let every place she goes be occupied!
Guangyue is the largest office building in the vicinity, so Mu Qingyu didn't go to the two or three smaller office buildings nearby—it's been so long, and Jia Wenkai has been so arrogant, he's probably already looted them all.
Mu Qingyu ran to a more distant office building and finally managed to collect a batch of pre-apocalyptic water tanks.
While searching for the building, Mu Qingyu unexpectedly discovered a place that wasn't on the map—a small wholesale market for general merchandise.
This isn't a specially built market; it's a converted residential area, which explains why it's not marked on the map.
The entire market is made up of residential houses, all of which are shops that combine living and buying and selling.
For some unknown reason, there wasn't a single survivor here; everyone had turned into zombies. This place was far from residential areas, sandwiched between several office buildings, and hadn't been raided even after the apocalypse.
This completely benefited Mu Qingyu. While clearing out the zombies, she also stored everything in her space—after the upgrade, the space had more than doubled in size, and now she could collect things without any restraint.
There's a reason Mu Qingyu called this place a general merchandise wholesale market. It has everything from small commodities costing a dollar or two to wholesale steel.
It may not be large in scale, but it boasts a complete range of products, making it a small but complete business.
Mu Qingyu was busy here until dark and still hadn't finished.
With her current strength, she is not afraid of zombies. To her, zombies are now just points for upgrading her space and superpowers.
Let's kill as many zombies as possible while they're still relatively easy to kill before they level up too much.
Mu Qingyu worked here until the early hours of the morning before finally taking everything away.
Having been away for several days, Mu Qingyu decided not to go any further and instead headed back.
So on the way back, I found a building, chose a relatively quiet high-rise room, locked the door, and settled in.
During this time, Mu Qingyu naturally did not forget to go into the space to take a look.
The first thing I looked at was the points displayed on the door.
Upon closer inspection, something seemed amiss!
Mu Qingyu completed the fourth upgrade of her space yesterday, when she had 3507 points.
After deducting the 3000 points spent on the upgrade, Mu Qingyu had 507 points remaining. Then, on the way back to the theater from the municipal library, Mu Qingyu killed about 300 zombies along the way.
Since learning the ingenious uses of points, she now performs some rough calculations when killing zombies.
Then, after leaving home in the morning and eliminating Zhao Daqiang and his group, Mu Qingyu killed about 150 more zombies on their way to Guangyue Building.
Then, in the plaza of the Guangyue Building, Mu Qingyu carried out a massacre-style cleansing of the gathered zombies. It's hard to calculate exactly how many there were, but the number should have exceeded 1,000, though not by much.
