Chapter 210 The Final Preparations

"Yes, yes, definitely, Brother Hui." Before Brother Hui could finish speaking, Old Wu hurriedly declared, "Those two villas were built by me and our boss before the apocalypse. They said it was for filming some kind of variety show."

"But I was wondering back then, what kind of variety show would go to such lengths, using only the best ingredients! And they even came up with a lot of tricks. And a few days ago, didn't some of my brothers go and inquire? There are indeed people living there, and they've even built a wall around it." Old Wu jogged alongside the car, bowing and scraping to Brother Hui inside.

Hui Ge might not necessarily be after that post-apocalyptic fortress, but according to Lao Wu's description, the equipment inside seemed genuinely designed for the apocalypse. So, the owner of that "fortress" must have stockpiled a lot of good stuff there.

Most importantly, although Lao Wu did not see any power generation equipment in the house, the homeowner had previously asked them to leave some wiring on the rooftop. Based on his experience, Lao Wu guessed that the wiring was probably for the later installation of a solar generator.

This is good stuff!

Brother Hui robbed many villages and residential areas, but without exception, most of their generators were diesel generators—damn it, if he had enough diesel, why would he need those damn generators?!

The reason they're walking so pathetically on the road today instead of driving straight there is probably because they've almost run out of gas!

Actually, there were still some left, but the village they were going to today wasn't far, so they figured they should make the most of it. The walk would also give his men a chance to warm up before they were caught off guard and not be out of sorts when it came to killing.

Regardless of what's in that village, whether it's a doomsday fortress or not, Brother Hui is going to wipe out that village!

His intention was to clear out this entire area and make it all his territory!

He only knew that the "old house" was in a village in the vicinity, but he didn't know which village it was at this stage.

This person's original name was Yu Hui. Before the apocalypse, he was involved in smuggling homemade explosives!

However, before the apocalypse, he wasn't a big shot; he was just a henchman. His role was to "receive" and store the "goods" until the next person in the chain came to him to pick them up and take them away for a transaction.

He is just a "warehouse," unaware of where the upstream goods are produced or where the end goods are sold.

However, he was ultimately doing a dangerous job, and after so many years, he naturally built up a group of followers.

This group of people was the initial force behind his "entrepreneurship".

Yu Hui originally had no idea that he could build such a large "business". At first, he was just robbing the resources of the people around him to survive.

But he later discovered that the world's order had collapsed, and even if he committed arson, murder, and looting, no one would care; at most, it would just be a matter of the victor taking all.

Back then, he had men, knives, and explosives, and he was invincible in his area! That's when he gradually became arrogant!

At first, Yu Hui didn't kill indiscriminately; he mainly focused on robbery. But gradually, he and his men began to experience the pleasure of killing, and eventually, they even developed an addiction to it.

So in the end, wherever they went, there were mountains of corpses and seas of blood.

However, he also took in those with supernatural abilities who voluntarily came to him. Those who could associate with Yu Hui were mostly like-minded with him.

As Yu Hui fought battle after battle and squandered his explosives, his explosives dwindled, and he began to think about finding the "old house."

"The Old House" was their organization's euphemistic name for the explosives production plant. Although Yu Hui didn't know the exact location of "The Old House," he had been in the organization for many years and knew its general location.

They're hidden in the villages around here!

What's unlucky is that a few days ago he saw that there were factories and defenses in that village, and the people guarding the village had guns and didn't seem like good people!

Yu Hui felt that the village must be "old houses"!

Although the people in the "warehouse" and the people in the "old house" belong to the same organization, they have no interaction with each other, and there are special henchmen for transporting goods.

After the apocalypse, Yu Hui lost contact with the organization and simply led his men to "declare themselves kings." Therefore, he guessed that the people in the "old house" were probably in a similar situation!

Yu Hui didn't want to cultivate relationships with the people in the "old house," lest they have to argue about who was superior later. So, he decided to go all in, just like he did with the previous massacre of the village, slaughtering everyone and taking over the "old house" for himself.

Yu Hui knew that the "old house" had solar generator sets and diesel generator sets, an underground production factory, and a lot of raw materials.

As long as he can continue to produce explosives, unless the army comes to suppress him, it's only a matter of time before he takes control of City A!

The current military is probably too busy killing zombies to deal with them!

The group of people from that village the day before yesterday had extremely high defenses, and they looked like ruthless people who would fight and kill without hesitation.

This was the first time Yu Hui had encountered such a tough opponent! But this only strengthened his conviction that this village was indeed "Old House".

He thought that as long as he captured the village, he could produce explosives at will! So he spared no expense and used up almost all the explosives. Not satisfied with that, he also piled up gasoline to use as Molotov cocktails. They fought all night long, until dawn, before they finally took the village.
