Chapter 13 Brutal, Too Brutal
He knew it would be like this; this ruthless person wanted him to be the carrot dangling in front of the mule.
Zombies, drawn by the smell of fresh blood, will continuously flock to this area.
The zombies in front had their heads chopped off by chainsaws and fell down, while the zombies behind continued to rush out, only to have their heads chopped off by chainsaws as well.
One after another, they came to their deaths.
Zombies have no intelligence; they only smell the tempting fresh flesh and blood ahead and keep charging forward.
If you can't push it, just force it.
Meng Shiwan tied another chainsaw one meter from the entrance of the hole to prevent any child zombies from sneaking in.
She then found a few more cabinets nearby and pushed them over to reinforce the surrounding barriers, thus creating a small trap to kill zombies.
Some simple traps can keep them coming one after another, making killing zombies much easier.
These are all experiences summarized from previous lives.
Next, all she needs to do is clear away the dead zombies blocking the entrance every now and then.
Meng Shiwan greeted Taxue with a smile, "Let's go eat hot pot."
Ta Xue jumped down and followed Meng Shiwan away.
Zhang Qiang was so scared that his soul almost flew away. He screamed, "Kill me, kill me, please, I beg you, I don't want to be eaten by zombies."
He had watched helplessly as his colleagues died in the mouths of zombies.
Living people are disemboweled by zombies, their internal organs are pulled out and chewed, and the people can clearly see their intestines being eaten into the zombies' stomachs.
That's terrifying; that kind of death is truly horrible.
He didn't want to die like that.
If a zombie is smart enough to dodge the chainsaw and crawl over, it will be the first one to be eaten.
Thinking of this, Zhang Qiang screamed even more desperately.
His horrifying screams echoed throughout the supermarket, attracting other survivors who rushed over to peek from behind the shelves.
The crowd, whose faces had already turned pale from Meng Shiwan's beating, turned even paler now.
"Brutal, absolutely brutal."
"I originally thought that she was ruthless enough to kill Lao Wang, but now that I see this scene, I suddenly feel that Lao Wang passed away peacefully in her hands."
“Zhang Qiang was terrified, like a pig being slaughtered. I think his body is still alive, but his soul is completely dead.”
"Now I understand, it's better to go out and fight zombies than to mess with this ruthless person."
Two chainsaws hummed loudly, and the zombies upstairs gathered in this direction upon hearing the noise.
The escalator was still running, and the opening that Meng Shiwan made was directly facing the upward escalator.
For a zombie to come down, it first has to outrun the speed of the escalator before it can reach the first floor, pass through the hole, and crash into the chainsaw.
If a zombie stops on the escalator or runs too slowly, the upward escalator will teleport it back to the second floor, preventing it from crowding on the first floor and collapsing cabinets and shelves blocking the escalator entrance.
Zhang Qiang's carrot and the noise of the chainsaw will attract zombies to rush down again and again.
Those with a modicum of rationality, after enduring the shock of the bloody scene and figuring out how the trap worked, exclaimed that it was a genius.
"This person is not only ruthless, but also intelligent. While we were terrified by the zombies, she was able to calmly discover their weaknesses and create such an ingenious trap. She's a genius."
"Not only are they incredibly skilled, but they also have such strong mental fortitude and are incredibly intelligent. Does this mean no one else can survive?"
Everyone was amazed and truly shocked by Meng Shiwan's move.
Their eyes all turned to Meng Shiwan's direction, where they saw her enthusiastically showing off her hot pot.
When she was feeling really happy, she even stood up and made herself a fresh cup of kumquat lemon tea in the store.
Everyone: ? ? ?
This big shot's style is a bit hard to figure out.
Meng Shiwan is skilled at making milk tea. When she was in college, she would sometimes go out to experience life, and her favorite place was a milk tea shop.
She felt that the bubble tea shop was a place full of sweet youth.
Even though she rarely eats such high-calorie foods, it doesn't affect her perception of sweet youth.
During the three years of the apocalypse, whenever she was starving, her stomach would convulse, she would feel weak and powerless, and she would suffer unbearable pain. Every sweet and beautiful drink she made was her greatest spiritual nourishment.
Controlling your diet and eating healthy, low-carb protein is no longer an option.
She wants the spiciest and most numbing hot pot, and she wants her milk tea to be fully sweet.
Anything, after being extremely scarce, will be replenished in a retaliatory manner.
She has an excellent appetite now, and she wishes she could transform into a glutton.
Of course, she didn't forget her adorable kitten either.
I opened a can of cat food for it from the supermarket, and now it's happily munching on it.
It seems it got quite tired from scratching me earlier.
Meng Shiwan picked up a slice of fatty beef and put it into the boiling soup pot. After a moment, she took it out, puffed out her cheeks, blew on it twice, and stuffed it all into her mouth.
It was fresh, fragrant, spicy, and numbing, with a rich meaty aroma; she really wanted to clap her hands in delight.
She swallowed it down, then took another sip of iced kumquat lemon tea, and felt that this moment was the highlight of her life.
Even the screams from not far away and the shouts of zombies were the perfect accompaniment.
The only imperfection was that she had to go clean up the zombies before she finished her hotpot.
The zombies are piled up at the entrance of the cave. If they are not cleared out in time, other zombies will not be able to get down.
Meng Shiwan put her raincoat back on, wrapped herself up tightly, and patted Taxue's head. "You stay here, I'll be back in a bit."
Ta Xue meowed and continued eating her canned food, her eyes glancing at the beef roll next to her and the chicken leg she hadn't had time to eat yet.
Meng Shiwan walked to the cave entrance and heard Zhang Qiang still shouting in a hoarse voice. She rubbed her eardrums and said impatiently, "Stop shouting."
Zhang Qiang's terrified screams stopped abruptly. Through his blood-stained helmet, Meng Shiwan's vision was entirely red, adding to the horror.
He cried out, "Sister, big sister, please let me go! Stop torturing me, I can't take it anymore!"
Meng Shiwan dragged the zombie, which had been split into three pieces, to a corner.
"Hold on a little longer. Once the zombies upstairs have been mostly cleared out, I'll let you go."
Zhang Qiang felt that she looked like a villain who had murdered and buried a body, and he became even more terrified.
"There are several floors upstairs, so many people, and there must be a lot of zombies too. I'll be scared to death before you finish clearing them out. You might as well just kill me now."
Meng Shiwan held a round zombie head in her arms, squatted down with a shovel, and slashed a hole in the ground with a bang.
When you don't see what you want, you're as disappointed as if you've thrown away a rotten watermelon, and then you cut off the next one.
Hearing Zhang Qiang's words, she replied nonchalantly, "So, should I let a zombie in and kill you now? Then I'll bring in a fresh one?"
Zhang Qiang immediately shut up.
He thought this villain would actually do it.
Meng Shiwan paused for a moment, as if thinking, then stood up and said helplessly, "Fine, it's a small matter, so I'll grant your wish. I'll just grab someone else, it won't delay things. After all, I'm a good person."
