Su Yingxue looked at the seven sleeping children, her lips slightly raised and tears of relief flashing in her eyes.
She said silently in her heart: "This is my happiness, my babies, I hope you can always be happy and carefree like this."
On the big bed in the bedroom, seven children were sleeping in a mess like little balls, taking up a lot of space.
Su Yingxue and Tan Zhengchu could only squeeze together on the bed.
Su Yingxue frowned and muttered softly: "How can I sleep like this?"
She pushed Tan Zhengchu and said, "Look, there's no room left."
Tan Zhengchu groaned and turned over.
Instead, he took up some of Su Yingxue's space, which made Su Yingxue even more uncomfortable.
Su Yingxue looked at Tan Zhengchu and the children, and helplessly pushed Tan Zhengchu again: "Wake up, I can't sleep like this."
Tan Zhengchu mumbled drowsily: "Honey, sleep a little longer."
But his posture made Su Yingxue feel even more uncomfortable, as if he did it on purpose.
Su Yingxue reached out to pull Tan Zhengchu's arm, trying to pull him up.
But Tan Zhengchu's arm was as heavy as a rock and didn't move at all.
Her hand touched Tan Zhengchu's warm skin, but it only resulted in Tan Zhengchu's tighter "invasion", with his legs still pressing on Su Yingxue's legs.
Su Yingxue gritted her teeth, wanting to move but not daring to move too much.
She looked at the seven babies and thought: I can't wake the children up.
Otherwise they would think that I had a quarrel with Tan Zhengchu.
So she just endured it.
Until we were sure all seven children were soundly asleep.
She pushed Tan Zhengchu again and whispered, "Put the babies on the pillows. It's too crowded."
Tan Zhengchu's body moved slightly and rubbed Su Yingxue's shoulder.
Su Yingxue glared at him, but Tan Zhengchu was unaware.
Tan Zhengchu obediently carried the seven babies onto the pillow one by one.
Then he turned around and reached out to hug Su Yingxue.
Su Yingxue subconsciously slapped his hand away, with greater force than she had imagined.
The "pop" sound was particularly clear in the quiet bedroom.
Su Yingxue said angrily, "What are you doing?"
Tan Zhengchu said with a wicked smile: "Honey, didn't you say you can ride me however you want tonight?"
When Su Yingxue heard this, her face turned red, and she was angry and annoyed: "What nonsense are you talking about? You bad guy!"
As she spoke, she pounded Tan Zhengchu's chest hard with her hands and kicked his calves non-stop.
Tan Zhengchu dodged and laughed.
The two bodies twisted back and forth on the bed, and the bed creaked slightly.
Su Yingxue was so angry that her face turned red. She beat him and scolded him: "Tan Zhengchu, you big bad guy, what are you thinking about?"
However, Tan Zhengchu did not hide. He grabbed Su Yingxue's wrist and pulled hard.
Su Yingxue threw herself into his arms.
Tan Zhengchu hugged her tightly, his warm breath spraying on her cheeks and ears.
Su Yingxue felt itchy. She twisted her body and tried to break free: "Let me go!"
Her hair was a little messy from the struggle, with a few strands of hair sticking to her face, making her look even more dishevelled.
Tan Zhengchu hugged her even tighter.
He rested his chin on the top of Su Yingxue's head and said with a smile, "Honey, stop it. You're so cute like this."
Su Yingxue was angry and anxious: "You still say that you did it on purpose!"
Just as Su Yingxue was struggling, she heard Tan Zhengchu's tired voice: "Dear, stop making trouble. I took care of you last night. I'm so tired."
The voice was a little hoarse and full of weariness.
Su Yingxue was stunned for a moment.
She stopped moving, and the anger in her eyes gradually faded, replaced by a trace of heartache.
She could feel Tan Zhengchu's heartbeat, steady and powerful, but faster than usual. He must be really tired.
She rubbed her head against Tan Zhengchu's arms, like a kitten seeking comfort, and asked softly, "Are you tired?"
She stopped struggling and placed her hands gently on Tan Zhengchu's back, feeling his body temperature.
Tan Zhengchu nodded: "Yeah, holding you makes me want to sleep."
His voice became lower and lower, as if he was talking in his sleep.
Su Yingxue patted him gently: "Go to sleep, I'm here, and I'll always be by your side in the future."
Tan Zhengchu hugged Su Yingxue tighter, as if he wanted to merge her into his body.
That night, all nine people slept soundly.
When Su Yingxue got up to tuck in the seven children, Tan Zhengchu would always wake up in a daze.
He half opened his eyes and watched Su Yingxue gently cover the children with quilts, his eyes full of affection.
When Su Yingxue returned to bed, Tan Zhengchu would reach out, hold her hand, and then fall asleep peacefully.
Their fingers were tightly intertwined, as if they could protect each other forever.
The early morning sunlight was like a golden thread, shining through the gaps in the curtains and gently falling on Qibao's face.
Qibao slowly opened his eyes, a hint of sleepiness still lingering in his black gemstone-like eyes.
She sat up sleepily and stretched like a kitten that had just woken up.
I turned around to look at my parents who were still sleeping, and found that their quilt had slipped to the side at some point.
The two of them had a funny sleeping position, with Tan Zhengchu's arm resting on Su Yingxue's body.
Qibao crawled over quietly, and his tiny figure looked like a cute elf in the morning light.
She carefully picked up the quilt and gently covered her parents with it.
Her movements were as gentle as the breeze blowing through flowers, for fear of waking her parents.
At this time, Tan Zhengchu moved, his eyelids trembled slightly, and he slowly opened his eyes.
When he saw Qibao covering himself with a blanket, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
Then the corners of his mouth turned up, revealing a warm smile, and he said softly: "Qibao, are you awake? You are such a caring little baby."
His voice was hoarse from waking up, but full of love.
Su Yingxue was also awakened by their noise.
She opened her eyes drowsily, her hair scattered on the pillow in a messy manner, like a lazy goddess.
He asked sleepily, "What's the matter?"
Qibao smiled and said, "Daddy, Mommy, your quilt fell off. I'll cover you up."
Tan Zhengchu looked at Qibao with tenderness in his eyes: "Qibao, you are such a little angel, Daddy is so happy.
Your small action is like the first ray of sunshine in the morning shining into Daddy's heart."
Su Yingxue also smiled and nodded, tears of emotion flashing in her eyes: "Yes, our Qibao has grown up and can take care of people.
We took care of you before, and now you will take care of us."
It was the first time that Tan Zhengchu felt such thoughtful service from his daughter. He felt as if a warm current was flowing through his heart, and he was overwhelmed with excitement.
He felt that Qibao was like a sweet candy, melting in his heart and making him feel sweet to the core.
