The housekeeper explained tremblingly: "Sir, the young lady didn't listen to my advice at all and bit me many times. You see, there is still a row of teeth marks on the back of my hand. The young lady kept talking about going home and said she didn't want to stay here. We really had no choice."
As he spoke, he stretched out his hand, and there were rows of teeth marks clearly imprinted on the back of his hand.
When Zhao Da Kuang saw the tooth marks, a smile flashed in his eyes.
He thought to himself: Xiaoqi's temper is somewhat similar to Yingxue's, both are so stubborn and interesting.
Zhao Da Kuang raised his head slightly and ordered the servants, "Go prepare lunch. Yingxue must be hungry."
The servants responded in unison, then hurried off to prepare lunch.
Zhao Da Kuang gently pushed open the door of the guest room and walked in slowly with very light footsteps.
He saw Xiao Qi lying in Su Yingxue's arms at a glance.
Xiaoqi's eyes were red and swollen from crying, like two ripe cherries.
But now she had stopped crying, only sobbing occasionally.
When Xiao Qi caught a glimpse of Zhao Da Kuang's figure, his little body instantly began to tremble.
Like a frightened little rabbit, he hurriedly burrowed deeper into Su Yingxue's arms.
At the same time, he shouted loudly: "Mom, the bad guy is coming!"
Su Yingxue hugged Xiao Qi tightly with heartache, raised her head and glared at Zhao Da Kuang, her eyes seemed to be spitting fire: "Zhao Da Kuang, look at what you have done? Xiao Qi is just a child, how could you scare her like this?"
Su Yingxue lowered her head, put her face against Xiao Qi's forehead, and said softly in an extremely gentle voice: "Don't be afraid, Xiao Qi, mom is here, and mom will protect you."
Her hands gently patted Xiaoqi's back, again and again, as if carrying some magical power.
With this gentle comfort, Xiaoqi gradually relaxed his tense nerves and rubbed his little head in Su Yingxue's arms.
After a while, he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
Su Yingxue looked at Xiaoqi's peaceful sleeping face, her heart full of worry.
She thought to herself, Xiao Qi is still so young, will this shock leave a psychological shadow on her? She really hopes that Xiao Qi can forget this terrible experience quickly.
Zhao Dakuang walked silently to the sofa and sat down, but his eyes were always fixed on Su Yingxue and Xiao Qi.
He looked at Su Yingxue holding Xiao Qi. The scene was so peaceful and beautiful. An inexplicable emotion quietly grew in his heart.
He watched Xiao Qi sleeping peacefully in Su Yingxue's arms, and the jealousy in his heart grew like weeds.
He was jealous of Tan Zhengchu, jealous that he could have Su Yingxue's love, and jealous that they could have such a lovely child.
He bit his lower lip tightly, his hands clenched unconsciously, and he secretly swore in his heart that he must make Su Yingxue fall in love with him.
The butler tiptoed into the room.
He bowed slightly and said respectfully to Zhao Da Kuang, "Master, lunch is ready."
Zhao Da Kuang stood up, walked to Su Yingxue, and said softly: "Yingxue, lunch is ready, let's go eat together."
Su Yingxue refused coldly without even raising her head: "I won't go. Xiaoqi is still sleeping. I want to accompany her."
Zhao Dakuang's face suddenly turned gloomy.
He said coldly: "Su Yingxue, if you keep this attitude, forget about seeing Xiao Qi again."
After that, he raised his voice and called the servants: "Take Miss Xiaoqi away and take good care of her."
Su Yingxue suddenly raised her head and glared at the approaching servant fiercely, with a look that seemed to be able to eat people.
The servant was so frightened that he stopped abruptly and dared not take another step forward.
Su Yingxue was extremely conflicted.
She was worried that Xiaoqi would be woken up, and she was also afraid that Xiaoqi would be more stimulated after being taken away.
She took a deep breath, looked at Zhao Da Kuang and asked, "If I listen to you, will you not separate me from my daughter?"
Zhao Da Kuang nodded slightly and gave an affirmative answer.
Then he waved his hand for the servants to leave the room.
Su Yingxue sighed helplessly.
She carefully put Xiaoqi on the bed and gently pulled the quilt over her.
Then he stood up, his eyes full of worry and reluctance.
But in order to prevent her daughter from being hurt again, she could only compromise temporarily and go to have lunch with Zhao Dakuang.
Su Yingxue followed Zhao Dakuang reluctantly and prepared to go to the restaurant.
As soon as she stepped out of Xiaoqi's room, she found that the room was shrouded in a depressing atmosphere.
When she first arrived, she was so anxious that she didn't pay attention to the layout of the room.
The walls in the room were a dark gray, as if they had been stained by dark clouds, and were lifeless.
The curtains were also dark grey and hung heavily, blocking out the sunlight from outside.
Only a few faint rays of light came in, making the room even darker.
All the furniture is made of cold and hard metal with an icy luster, which complements the gray environment.
The bedding was also a cold gray color. Xiaoqi curled up in it, looking extremely helpless.
There were several impressionist paintings on the wall that Su Yingxue couldn't understand.
The lines in the painting are disorganized and the colors are all different shades of gray.
It was as if it was drawn by a painter with desperate strokes, adding a bit of weirdness and dullness to the whole room.
Su Yingxue's brows were tightly furrowed into the shape of the Chinese character "川".
She quickly walked to the window and pulled open the curtains, trying to let in more sunlight.
But that gray world didn't seem to have changed at all.
She turned around and said to Zhao Da Kuang in dissatisfaction: "Why is this room decorated like this? Xiao Qi is just a child. She needs a bright and warm environment. This dark and depressing tone will scare her. Is there no other room?"
