Chapter 256 Good News and Bad News

After hearing this, the corners of Tan Zhengchu's mouth slightly raised, and the ecstasy in his heart almost overflowed.

But he quickly suppressed his emotions and asked in a low voice: "Where is the exact location?"

After hanging up the phone, Tan Zhengchu stood there for a long time without moving.

The images of his two sons emerged in his mind.

Dabao is clever and Liubao is calm; they are never children who can be manipulated by others.

"Sure enough, my son will not let me down." He said silently in his heart.

He didn't expect to receive their signal so soon.

I originally thought it would take more time, and I was even prepared for a long search.

But unexpectedly, they found the opportunity so soon.

"Boss, the location is about two hours' drive from here." The third brother's voice came from the other end of the phone.

Tan Zhengchu's eyes became even brighter.

Two hours is not far.

"Okay, I got it." He whispered, "You guys get a good rest tonight and set off early tomorrow morning."

"I understand!" The third brother answered decisively.

After hanging up the phone, Tan Zhengchu walked to the window and looked at the night scene in the distance.

His heart was beating faster, as if he could already see his two sons standing in front of him.

He turned around and glanced at Su Yingxue lying on the bed.

Her brows had relaxed and her breathing had become steady.

The corners of Tan Zhengchu's mouth rose slightly.

"If she wakes up tomorrow morning and hears this news, she will definitely be very happy," he thought to himself.

Su Yingxue was always worried about the safety of her two children and even couldn't sleep at night.

Now, there is finally hope.

Tan Zhengchu walked gently to the bedside and tucked the corner of the quilt for Su Yingxue.

Then he walked to the table, turned on the computer, and began to check the location information sent by the third brother.

On the map, a flashing red dot is particularly eye-catching.

"We'll set off early tomorrow morning." He whispered to himself, with a gleam of determination in his eyes.

The night was still dark, but a light lit up in Tan Zhengchu's heart.

He knew that the day when he would find his son was not far away.

At this moment, Su Yingxue on the bed seemed to feel something, and the corners of her mouth slightly raised, revealing a reassured smile.

Tan Zhengchu looked at her and his heart softened.

"Sleep well, everything will be fine tomorrow." He said softly, as if promising her.

The only sounds in the room were the even breathing and the gentle tapping of Tan Zhengchu's keyboard.

In the room, Liubao and Dabao were lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling without blinking, with bright light in their eyes.

Their hearts are filled with longing for their families and the hope of returning home as soon as possible in the future.

Dabao was the first to break the silence. He turned his head and looked at Liubao. With a hint of worry in his voice, he asked, "Liubao, do you think Daddy and the others can see the location we sent? This place is so far from home, I'm a little worried that they won't be able to receive it."

Liu Bao answered without hesitation: "Da Bao, don't worry, Mommy and Daddy are so smart, they will definitely see it. They must have been paying attention to our movements."

In fact, Liubao was already certain in his heart that his family might be on their way here.

After hearing what Liubao said, Dabao turned sideways, his eyes instantly lit up, full of trust, and said, "I believe in Mommy, she will definitely not abandon us."

After that, the two smiled at each other, and Liu Bao said softly, "Da Bao, good night."

Dabao also responded gently: "Liubao, good night."

Then, the two little ones closed their eyes and prepared to fall asleep. They were very calm, and their tone of voice when they said goodnight to each other was full of care for each other.

That night, Liubao and Dabao slept very soundly. They did not have any nightmares, nor did they feel depressed the night before. Because they firmly believed that Daddy and Mommy would come to pick them up soon.

The early morning sun shines into the room through the gaps in the curtains, and there is a hint of fresh coolness in the air.

Su Yingxue woke up early, turned her head, and saw Tan Zhengchu still sleeping.

His brows were slightly furrowed, as if he was thinking about something even in his dream.

Su Yingxue reached out her hand distressedly and gently stroked his brow, trying to smooth out the wrinkles.

At this moment, Tan Zhengchu's eyes slowly opened, his vision still a little hazy.

He held Su Yingxue's hand and said in a low and gentle voice: "Awake?"

Su Yingxue smiled slightly and nodded.

"You always frown when you sleep, and it hurts me to see you like that."

Tan Zhengchu's mouth corners slightly raised and he pulled her closer.

"I'm used to it. I can't change it."

Su Yingxue sighed softly, her fingertips still lingering between his brows.

"Don't always sleep with a frown on your face. It's bad for your health."

Tan Zhengchu held her hand, placed it on his lips and kissed it gently.

"Okay, I'll listen to you."

He paused, a smile flashing in his eyes.

"By the way, there is good news and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?"

Su Yingxue's heart suddenly tightened and the smile on her face froze instantly.

"Is it... about the sons?"

Her voice was trembling and her eyes were filled with worry.

Seeing this, Tan Zhengchu couldn't help but pinch her nose.

"You always think the worst."

Su Yingxue bit her lip, tears welling up in her eyes.

"How can I not worry? They've been missing for so long..."

Tan Zhengchu sighed softly and hugged her tighter.

"So do you want to hear the good news first, or the bad news?"

Su Yingxue said anxiously without hesitation: "Bad news! Listen to the bad news first!"

There was a sly gleam in Tan Zhengchu's eyes, and he deliberately dragged out his tone.

"The bad news is—"

He paused for a moment, and looking at Su Yingxue who was so nervous that she almost held her breath, he couldn't help but laugh.

"The bad news is, you have to get up."

Su Yingxue was stunned for a moment, then she reacted and couldn't help but punch his chest.

"You scared me to death!"

Tan Zhengchu smiled and held her hand, his eyes full of doting.

"Seeing how nervous you are, I can't bear to tease you."

Su Yingxue sat up from the bed and glared at him.

"What about the good news?"

Tan Zhengchu also stood up and walked towards the bathroom.

"That's good news..."

He deliberately kept the audience in suspense, picked up the toothbrush, and slowly squeezed toothpaste on it.

Su Yingxue followed him in anxiously and stood behind him to ask questions.

"Hurry up and tell me!"

Tan Zhengchu turned around and handed her the toothbrush with toothpaste squeezed on it.

"The good news is that I have received the location of my sons and will be able to see them today."

Su Yingxue's eyes lit up instantly.

"Really? Are they okay?"

Tan Zhengchu nodded, his eyes full of determination.

"Don't worry, they are fine."

Su Yingxue was so excited that she hugged his neck, her voice choked with sobs.

“That’s great… That’s great…”
