Coming to a children's toy store, Su Yingxue saw an exquisite educational puzzle.
She said to Mrs. Tan, "Grandma, this puzzle is great. Dabao likes playing puzzles, and this can help him exercise his thinking ability."
Madam Tan nodded in agreement. "Well, Yingxue, you are very thoughtful. Dabao is a smart child, and this puzzle should make him happy. What about Erbao? He likes to draw, so we have to choose some good drawing tools for him."
So they went to the art supply section.
Su Yingxue picked up a set of high-grade watercolor paints and looked at Mrs. Tan: "Grandma, how about this set of watercolors? The colors are very bright and the quality is very good. Erbao will definitely like it."
Madam Tan took it and looked at it: "It's pretty good. Let's see if there are any good brushes to match it."
The clerk brought over several paintbrushes. Su Yingxue picked up one and examined it carefully. "The bristles of this brush are very soft, so the coloring should be very even. Let's choose this one."
Then choose gifts for the three treasures.
Mrs. Tan stopped in front of a shelf full of stuffed toys and picked up a cute little bear doll: "Yingxue, Sanbao loves stuffed toys the most. This little bear is so cute, she will definitely love it."
Su Yingxue smiled and said, "Grandma, the little bear you picked is so cute. Sanbao will be very comfortable hugging him while sleeping. Sibao likes music, so we can go see if there is any small musical instrument suitable for him."
In the musical instrument store, Su Yingxue took a fancy to a small ukulele.
She said to Mrs. Tan, "Grandma, this ukulele is very suitable for Sibao. He can try to learn to play it, and it is also convenient for him to hold it with this size."
Mrs. Tan smiled and said, "Yes, Sibao is a very talented child in music. This ukulele can help him to play many different things."
When choosing a gift for Wubao, Su Yingxue picked up a football in a sporting goods store: "Grandma, Wubao loves sports so much, he can play with this football with his friends."
Mrs. Tan nodded: "Yes, boys should exercise more. With this football, he can run on the grass to his heart's content."
As for Liubao, Mrs. Tan picked up a beautiful fairy tale book in a bookstore: "Yingxue, Liubao likes to listen to stories. This fairy tale book has beautiful illustrations and interesting stories. He will definitely like it."
Su Yingxue agreed, "That's right. Liubao always pesters us to tell him stories. With this book, he can read it himself or have us read it to him."
Finally, there is Qibao’s gift.
Su Yingxue saw a beautiful headband in a handmade jewelry store, which was inlaid with sparkling little gems: "Grandma, Qibao will look like a little princess when she wears this headband. She must like this kind of sparkling things."
Mrs. Tan smiled and said, "Haha, our Qibao is a little princess. This headband suits her very well. Yingxue, you are so thoughtful. You remember every child's preferences so clearly."
Su Yingxue smiled and responded: "Grandma, they are all our babies, so of course we have to be careful when choosing gifts for them."
Mrs. Tan was like a generous Santa Claus, constantly choosing gifts for the babies.
"These gifts are very good, Yingxue, take them all to the children." Old Madam Tan said as she held up the gifts one by one.
Su Yingxue took it with a smile: "Grandma, you bought too much."
Madam Tan didn't care: "Not much, as long as my grandchildren like it."
Su Yingxue looked at her hands full of shopping bags and couldn't help but sigh: "Women's shopping ability is really terrible."
She thought silently in her heart: "When I was delivering packages before, I never thought that I would have such a life today. Although I am a little tired now, when I think of the smiling faces of the seven babies at home, I feel full of strength again."
Su Yingxue returned to the villa and as soon as she entered the door, she shouted excitedly: "My dears, mommy is back!"
The seven babies ran over like happy little deer.
"Mom, you're finally back!" Erbao threw himself into Su Yingxue's arms.
Su Yingxue smiled and took out the gifts: "Look, mom brought you gifts!"
She distributed the gifts to the babies, giving each one a share.
After Dabao received the gift, his eyes sparkled: "Mom, what is this?"
Su Yingxue smiled and said, "Dabao, you'll know when you open it. It's the Lego blocks you've always wanted."
"Wow, thank you, Mom!" Dabao jumped up happily.
Erbao shook the gift and said, "Mom, where's mine?"
"Erbao, you have a set of beautiful paintbrushes. You can use them to paint more beautiful pictures in the future." Su Yingxue touched Erbao's head.
Other babies also opened their gifts and cheers rang out one after another.
"Mom, you're the best!" Sanbao said while hugging his new stuffed toy.
Su Yingxue played with the babies for a while and then let them go back to their room to sleep.
She went to the living room, picked up the phone, and prepared to call Mr. Liu from the newspaper.
"Hello, Mr. Liu, I'm Su Yingxue. How is the preparation for the press conference going?" Su Yingxue asked.
But there was a busy tone on the other end of the phone.
Then I received a WeChat message from Mr. Liu: "I'm in a meeting."
After a while, Su Yingxue called Mr. Liu again.
"Mr. Liu, are you free now? Regarding the press conference..." Su Yingxue hadn't finished her words.
Mr. Liu's tired voice came: "Today is too busy, let's talk about it tomorrow."
Su Yingxue frowned, listening to Mr. Liu's obviously tired voice, and her doubts grew deeper and deeper: "Why is Mr. Liu so tired? Did he forget about the press conference?"
