Chapter 3

Chapter 3

As a new broom sweeps clean, Zhuang Yazhi reorganized the entire public relations department, leaving everyone angry but unable to speak out, and they all kept their heads down and continued working in a subservient manner.

Li Si stood outside the manager's office, looking around before finally fixing his gaze on Cai Siyue, the deputy manager of the public relations department, who was staring at him with dead fish eyes and a look of dissatisfaction.

Her father, Cai Xincheng, was also a director of the company. Not long ago, he promised to get her a position as the manager of the public relations department. Just when the application was about to be approved, the young lady suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

She's always been domineering in the department, and now she's openly throwing a tantrum to show her displeasure.

When holding departmental meetings, they don't even bother with pretense anymore; they just sit in the center and casually say, "Oh, sorry, it's just a habit."

Li Si entered first, and with an iron face, he pushed Cai Siyue, chair and all, out: "This habit is bad, it needs to be changed."

The new leather seats were presented the next second, and Li Si, like a standard soldier, stood guard to await Zhuang Yazhi's entry.

Before the person even appeared, the clattering of high heels echoed down the corridor, making everyone in the conference room tense with each step.

"Manager Zhuang," Li Si greeted him as he opened the door.

Zhuang Yazhi wore a well-fitting off-white suit dress, her makeup was light and delicate, and she looked around silently without smiling. Her powerful aura made people dare not look directly at her.

Everyone quickly stood up, waiting for Zhuang Yazhi to sit down first.

"The meeting is beginning."

Everyone reported in turn, speaking in hushed tones, afraid of uttering a single wrong word, their furtive gazes darting around as they observed Zhuang Yazhi's improvisational responses.

After finishing her speech, Zhuang Yazhi responded with a faint "hmm," as if she had caught the sound of her suppressed, relieved breathing that followed the end of the report.

The meeting is still ongoing.

After being ruthlessly pushed away, Cai Siyue was seething with anger. Now it was her turn to report, but there was still no response. She gritted her teeth and sat in her seat without saying a word.

She could feel all eyes on her, everyone waiting to see her make a fool of herself.

Cai Siyue looked up and met Zhuang Yazhi's gaze. She was filled with anger and resentment and was about to vent her frustration when Zhuang Yazhi suddenly got up and left. The meeting ended quietly, leaving Cai Siyue standing there dumbfounded.

She will be expelled from the meeting and banned from speaking.

Everyone else realized something was wrong and quickly left after the meeting. As expected, they had barely stepped out of the meeting room when they heard loud smashing noises coming from inside, loud enough to reach the manager's office.

Zhuang Yazhi ignored it and continued with her work. When she looked up wearily, she saw her mother, Su Sinan, whose healing smile was so touching that it could dispel her weariness.

"Those little snotty brats in the PR department are tough to deal with. You must be exhausted."

Only in front of Su Sinan would Zhuang Yazhi shed her strong exterior and reveal her soft, coquettish side: "I'm a little tired, but thankfully my mom's cold medicine arrived just in time."

The soup my mom brought was especially delicious; it warmed my heart and stomach.

Su Sinan felt sorry for her daughter's hard work, but as the future heir of the Zhuang family, she had to go through various difficulties and hardships to grow step by step over time. Managing subordinates was just the most basic thing.

As a well-known enterprise in Haicheng, Zhuangshi Group has attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society. Any slight movement of it will be pushed to the top of the trending searches. In particular, Zhuang Yazhi's return to the company as the heir has stirred up a lot of controversy and news. Anyone with a bit of power is hoping to get acquainted with him and curry favor with him.

Cai Siyue scrolled through the trending news headlines one by one, adding serious negative comments: arrogant, idle, only good at bullying subordinates, this young lady really has a big air about her.

The exact same story, not a single word changed.

The leaders of various departments who were loitering around the public relations department kept lingering in the manager's office in front of the door. The more Cai Siyue looked at them, the more annoyed she became, and she added a few more negative comments.

She became even angrier when she saw her father, Cai Xincheng, in the crowd.

"You are my dad!"

Cai Xincheng: "She could be my future sugar daddy."

He knew his daughter was unhappy about losing her job, but now that the young lady had arrived, everyone else had to get out of the way.

Seeing that her daughter was still upset and sulking, she could only coax her in a low voice behind her back: "Don't worry, Siyue, she won't be in this position for long."

Zeiss asked, half-believing, half-doubting, "Really?"

Cai Xincheng confidently stated, "The eldest princess certainly has a big air about her. Don't be fooled by everyone's respectful attitude towards her; in reality, there are already many people complaining about her. If she makes even the slightest mistake or has the slightest scandal exposed, she'll be finished. Right now, the sinking project has reached a critical stage, and the company's qualifications and social image are of utmost importance. A single mistake can have far-reaching consequences. Does she really think that being a public relations manager is so easy? She's far too naive."

Cai Xincheng was arrogant and self-important. As a veteran in the company, how could he willingly give up the coveted Zhuang family business to this inexperienced girl, even if she was surnamed Zhuang?

Suddenly, Cai Siyue had a flash of inspiration and immediately understood what to do.

Because the Zhuang family was extremely busy with the Shenhai project, Zhuang Yazhi, as the public relations manager, was invited to attend the project discussion meeting.

Despite being the youngest and least experienced, she immediately became the center of attention upon her arrival, receiving endless praise and flattery.

"Seeing is believing. Miss Zhuang is truly a promising young woman, a force to be reckoned with, and an outstanding member of the younger generation. Haicheng will have to rely on you in the future."

Zhuang Yazhi responded with a polite smile: "Uncle Xiao, you flatter me. I am still young and need the guidance of all the elders."

The group chuckled and exchanged glances, displaying a somewhat humble demeanor that didn't seem like the person they'd seen online.

After exchanging a few polite words, Zhuang Yazhi found a corner seat and sat down, looking around the room with a purpose in mind.

Three years ago, the winning bidder for the sinking project was the Zhuang Group. Their strength and reputation were undeniable. There is another very important reason why she is here today.

The Shen family led the project, which involved more than 30 cities, with initial planning investments alone reaching hundreds of billions of yuan.

Anyone with a bit of ability would want to get involved and grab a piece of the pie, but the person in charge of the project is not easy to deal with, and is even excessively difficult to handle.

Zhuang Yazhi was lost in thought when the surrounding conversations suddenly stopped, and the entire room fell silent.

Speak of the devil, and he appears; the difficult project manager walked into the venue amidst everyone's anticipation, immediately becoming the focus of attention.

She was in the light, he was in the shadows. Zhuang Yazhi deliberately hid and refused to make eye contact, but his sharp black eyes, like those of a jackal, quickly fixed his gaze on the figure in the corner almost instantly after scanning the entire room. His nakedly ruthless gaze invaded the figure in the corner with the light and shadow.

We meet again, Shen Yiheng.
