Chapter 120 Fever

Mu Wanwan quickly called his name.

"Wen Lin, Wen Lin!"

But the man didn't move at all.

"Stop pretending, get up!"

Mu Wanwan shouted angrily, but Wen Lin still didn't move at all.

She was a little anxious now. Wen Lin had been outside for such a long time, and the temperature was so low. Something might have really happened.

Mu Wanwan quickly helped the man up. When she touched Wen Lin, she realized that his hands were very cold, but his forehead was burning hot.

This is a fever, and the person has fainted from the fever. No one knows how long he has been unconscious.

Mu Wanwan was so angry. Was Wen Lin stupid? Didn't he know to go back in this weather?

She had made her words so clearly, but Wen Lin refused to listen to her and continued to wait stubbornly at the door.

She was angry, but she couldn't just ignore it.

Wen Lin was thin, but he was tall enough, so Mu Wanwan had to use a lot of effort to help him into the house.

As soon as he entered the house, the snow on the man's body melted and his clothes became wet. Even the clothes Mu Wanwan was wearing became wet.

She could only take off his coat and leave only the clothes he was wearing underneath.

The light in the room was brighter, and Mu Wanwan only now noticed that Wen Lin's lips were pale, but his face was red.

She didn't dare to delay and quickly went to pour hot water. Fortunately, there was some leftover antipyretic medicine at home.

She fed Wen Lin the medicine with a spoon, but soon she found that Wen Lin's body was trembling and he seemed to be muttering that he was cold.

She brought two more quilts and wrapped Wen Lin tightly.

Not long after, Wen Lin began to have a fever and sweat, and he was still mumbling.

Mu Wanwan realized that Wen Lin was calling her name when she got closer, and she suddenly felt complicated.

To be honest, she never expected Wen Lin to achieve this point.

After she refused, Wen Lin should have given up on her decisively. What else was there for him to insist on?

His fever didn't subside completely, and Mu Wanwan couldn't continue sleeping. She could only stay by his side and put a wet towel on Wen Lin's forehead.

It continued to snow outside, but the room was warm.

After Wen Lin's body temperature gradually dropped, Mu Wanwan could no longer resist the sleepiness. She supported her head and began to fall down, falling asleep all of a sudden.

——

Wen Lin woke up the next morning. The first thing he felt was that his body was sticky and covered in sweat, which made him very uncomfortable.

When he saw that he was in the house again, his mood immediately improved. It seemed that Mu Wanwan was still soft-hearted and went out to see him last night.

Wen Lin took off the towel on his forehead, the corners of his mouth curled up slightly, and he glanced at Mu Wanwan who was lying beside him.

It was obvious that it was Mu Wanwan who took care of him after he fainted last night.

Mu Wanwan was sleeping soundly. Wen Lin did not wake her up, but just watched her quietly.

Mu Wanwan was undoubtedly pretty, and she looked even cuter when she was sleeping like this.

Her eyelashes are long, like two small brushes, her nose is straight, her mouth is slightly open, and there are some crystal clear water marks at the corners of her mouth.

Wen Lin just thought it was cute, and he regretted that he had missed a lot of time with Mu Wanwan.

Maybe his gaze was too hot, Mu Wanwan's eyelashes suddenly trembled twice, and then her eyes slowly opened.

The two people looked at each other unexpectedly.

Mu Wanwan then realized that her hand was still on Wen Lin's chest, and she quickly took it back.

"When did you wake up?"

"Just now, thank you for taking care of me last night."

Wen Lin also sat up, the quilt on his body slipped off, and the old-fashioned white vest he was wearing on his upper body was still wet and felt translucent.

The vest was tightly attached to the man's body, showing off his figure perfectly, especially his two bulging pectoral muscles.

Mu Wanwan couldn't help but take a glance.

Wen Lin caught this glance, a smile flashed in his eyes, and he suddenly grabbed Mu Wanwan's hand and pulled her to place it on his chest muscles.

"Touch it if you want. How does it feel?"

Although Mu Wanwan didn't want to admit it, it felt really good and very elastic.

She quickly withdrew her hand, and seeing that Wen Lin's complexion had returned to normal, she knew that he should be almost well.

"Okay, just leave now. Don't do this again. I will definitely not care about you next time."

Mu Wanwan spoke in a cold voice.

Wen Lin didn't care at all. He looked out the window and said, "The snow outside is very thick. It's probably up to my knees. I can't go out. I'll leave when the snow melts."

Mu Wanwan glanced outside and it was true.

It probably snowed all night yesterday. The snow was so thick that I could hear the sound of snowsweeping outside. But with such thick snow, I didn’t know how long it would take to finish sweeping.

She felt a little regretful. If she had known earlier, she should have found a way to send Wen Lin away yesterday. But now, not only did he bring him in, but he would probably stay for a while.

She really can't be soft-hearted.

Mu Wanwan ignored Wen Lin and after washing up, she opened the door and went to the kitchen in front.

It was so strenuous to walk those few steps that her legs were stuck in the snow.

For breakfast, she cooked the fresh meat wontons she had made some time ago. It was perfect to eat something hot in such cold weather.

Wen Lin also came out and started sweeping the snow in the yard with tools.

Mu Wanwan didn't care about him. It was good that someone was sweeping the snow for her. It saved her the trouble. It would be a waste if she didn't use it anyway.

After the wontons were cooked, she also left a bowl for Wen Lin.

The man happily brought out his bowl of wontons and took a sip of the soup first.

The soup is very fresh, with some seaweed and chopped green onions in it, which looks very nice. Take a bite of the wonton, and you will find that the thin dough is filled with juicy and firm fillings.

Eating a bowl of wontons with soup is such a blessing in this winter.

After dinner, Mu Wanwan continued to translate materials, pretending that Wen Lin did not exist.

The sun rose and the snow began to melt. Wen Lin actually began to pray that the snow would not melt so quickly.

As long as he could be with Mu Wanwan, he would be satisfied even if Mu Wanwan ignored him.

He stood by and quietly watched Mu Wanwan's back as she sat at the desk, almost absorbed in it.

Suddenly, Wen Lin's ears moved and he heard some tiny clicking sounds. He subconsciously looked up at the ceiling, and then his face changed.

"Wanwan, be careful, get out of the way!"

Wen Lin shouted out almost immediately.

Before Mu Wanwan could react, she felt someone running towards her and holding her and rolling to the side.
